These supermodels and sisters look nearly unrecognizable in a rare childhood snapshot together.
On Wednesday, Bella Hadid, 28, shared the adorable throwback photo of her and her sister Gigi Hadid in celebration of her milestone 30th birthday.
The sisters looked nothing like the future catwalk stars they would become, though there was definitely a strong family resemblance.
The display comes shortly after Bella, who has lately been branching out into acting, brushed off concern about her transformed appearance while filming on set for a new project.
She took to Instagram to post a sweet birthday tribute for her older sister, which included a series of photos compiled from their early childhood to their teenage years and their adventures over the years.
She also shared heartwarming photos marking her and her sister's journeys into becoming an aunt and a mother, respectively, after Gigi welcomed her first child, four-year-old daughter Khai.
In her lengthy caption, Bella referred to her older sister as her 'first best friend,' her 'superhero' and her 'mentor.'
She began by writing: '30!!! Holy what the heck!!!! Can't believe we've been connected at the hip for this long. Lucky me.'
Bella shared a touching message as she wrote about how Gigi taught her to be herself, which she added that is a 'gift I cherish from you beyond anything.'
'Happy 30th to my butt buddy, my sweet sister, my mentor, my whip-my-a**-into-shaper, my built in best friend,' she wrote.
'You have shaped me, taught me, loved me, (scared me), stood by me and pushed me to be everything I am today.'
She added: 'You are the most funny, cool, fun, creative, artistic, loving, thoughtful human/big sis and to watch you be the best, most fun, bad a** mama to our Khaiba is the greatest gift to me as a sister.
'You have a heart of gold, constantly being thoughtful of others, but always staying true to yourself,' she continued.
'You have taught me so much of how to be myself in a world of people telling us all who we are supposed to be. And that's a gift I cherish from you beyond anything.'
She thanked their mother, Yolanda Hadid, for 'bringing my first best friend into the world,' and also her sister Gigi for giving birth to her 'newest best friend.'
'I'm the luckiest girl to be your baby sister. I couldn't choose a better YOU if I tried!!! You are a superhero to me and I'm obsessed w you!!!! Happy birthday jelly bean!'
Bella also shared a second post with even more photos showing off their close bond.
Alongside a plethora of heart-shaped hands and confetti emojis, she wrote in her caption: 'ITS GIGI DAY EVERYONE SAY IT WITH ME HAPPPYYY 30th BIRTHDAYYYY JELENAAAA!!!'
Gigi is the oldest out of three children shared by Yolanda and her ex-husband Mohamed Hadid.
In addition to daughters Gigi and Bella, the Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills alumna and the real estate developer are also parents to 25-year-old son Anwar Hadid.
Mohamed also shares daughters Marielle, 44; and Alana, 39; with his first wife Mary Butler.
Gigi is a mother of one; she shares her daughter Khai with her ex-boyfriend, singer and former One Direction member Zayn Malik.
In Bella's photos, she shared many photos of her spending time with Gigi and Khai.
She also included snapshots that included their younger brother and their parents from when they were toddlers.
Other pictures featured the three of them in their teenage years as they dressed up for formal events together.
However, most of the photos she included were candid, sisterly shots or sweet, smiling selfies they took together early in their modeling careers.
Bella included many photos of them in their teenage years after Bella dyed her hair brunette.
She also posted candid snaps of them on modeling jobs together, including when they walked the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show together in the past.
Other pictures showed them in similar dress at other fashion events together.
Bella also posted selfies from what appeared to be family trips together in more recent years.
And she also posted nostalgic snapshots from their late teens and early 20s while growing up in Los Angeles together.
In adulthood, they went back to child-friendly environments again for Gigi's daughter.
Bella's pictures showed that she and Gigi are inseparable, even at fancy dinners with friends, family or coworkers.
Bella also posted several funny, candid photos of her sister including during a barbecue feast.
One photo was take on a beach day, when Khai appeared to be sitting at the side watching Gigi bury Bella in sand and sculpt a mermaid tail over her body.
She also included a funny selfie of Gigi wearing a helmet at an amusement park. And another showed off her carpentry skills in a small reading nook for a young child.
She posted a photo of her sister cheesing as she prepared to show off her art skills.
Her photo albums also included a mirror selfie with a positive message and bright expressions, as well as a childhood photo of them with the same smiles on their faces.
