Rosaiah was a deft economist and statesman: Minister
Speaking at the 92nd birth anniversary celebrations of Konijeti Rosaiah at Ravindra Bharathi, the Minister highlighted Mr Rosaiah as a true statesman who commanded admiration across the political spectrum, including from the opposition, due to his unwavering commitment to principled and value-based politics. Mr Sridhar Babu remarked, 'Despite rising to the highest positions, he remained humble and grounded. It is a matter of great pride and joy that a statue of such a towering leader is being unveiled today at Lakdikapul, a fitting tribute to a man of such stature.'
The Minister further stated that Mr Rosaiah never actively sought power; rather, responsibilities and positions gravitated towards him. Beginning his journey as an ordinary party worker, he ascended through sheer merit to serve as MLC, MLA, MP, Minister, Chief Minister, and Governor, dignifying each role with unwavering integrity and excellence. 'Rosaiah's eloquence, constant study, administrative prowess, and unwavering loyalty to the party were the hallmarks of his public life. There can be no doubt that these qualities elevated his stature and legacy,' Mr Sridhar Babu affirmed.
He further emphasised that until his last breath, Mr Rosaiah remained dedicated to public service, known for his meticulous study of issues and for being the voice of the people within the Legislature. Mr Sridhar Babu recalled that Mr Rosaiah spoke with remarkable clarity and courage, particularly on legislative bills, and his speeches continue to serve as guiding lessons. On a personal note, the Minister shared that Mr Rosaiah was very close to his family, serving as a mentor and guiding light who shared a warm rapport with his father, Duddilla Sripada Rao. Mr Sridhar Babu expressed immense honour at having had the privilege of serving as a minister in the same cabinet as Mr Rosaiah.
Drawing inspiration from Mr Rosaiah's enduring legacy, the Minister concluded that the people's government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, is tirelessly working for the comprehensive development of Telangana. Assembly Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar, Legislative Council Chairman Gutha Sukhender Reddy, Ministers Ponnam Prabhakar and Jupally Krishna Rao, and other prominent leaders were also present at the programme.

Bhatti, Sridhar seek Centre's aid for boosting MSME sector
Hyderabad: Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka and IT Minister D Sridhar Babu met Union Minister for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Jitan Ram Manji and sought financial assistance for the development of industrial parks in the MSME sector and prior approval of plans for developing MSME parks in all 119 Assembly constituencies in the state. During the meeting, Bhatti and Sridhar Babu briefed the Union minister about the initiatives taken by the Telangana government for developing the MSME sector and the proposal to set up two new MSME parks to promote small and medium enterprises in Yendapally (Madhira mandal) and Remidicherla (Errupalem mandal) in Khammam district. The Deputy CM informed the Union Minister that plans had been drawn up to develop these parks across 85 acres and 60 acres respectively. He explained the strategic significance of the locations due to their proximity to National Highway 65 (Hyderabad–Vijayawada corridor) and excellent connectivity to nearby towns, railway networks, and ports. The development of these parks would boost job opportunities for local youth, especially from SC communities. The parks, being designed to support various manufacturing sectors, were expected to generate at least 5,000 direct and 15,000 indirect employment opportunities, he told the Union Minister. In the context, the Ministers sought prior approval from the Centre so the state could submit project proposals under the MSME-CDP (Cluster Development Programme) for financial assistance to develop these parks in every Assembly constituency. These parks will consist of small-scale factory complexes with infrastructure to support small industrial units, creating a conducive industrial environment. The MSME parks will include hostels, kitchens, toilets, testing centers, and other common facilities. Support for business development, product innovation, and market strategy services will also be provided. Bhatti pointed out that, under the MSME-CDP scheme, the Telangana government had implemented 25 projects with the support of the Union MSME Ministry. Now, Telangana was seeking central financial assistance under the scheme to establish dedicated MSME parks in each Assembly constituency. The Deputy CM and Industries Minister expressed their confidence that Telangana, through these initiatives, would emerge as a key contributor toward India's vision of achieving a $30 trillion economy.

Minister Sridhar Babu highlights govt welfare initiatives in Medchal
MEDCHAL: Minister Sridhar Babu announced that 40,000 ration cards have been issued in the Medchal Assembly constituency, with a further 60,000 to be distributed following the completion of application scrutiny. Speaking at a public programme, the Minister criticised the previous Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) government, stating that ration cards were denied even after citizens made endless visits to 'Mee Seva' centres, 'until their shoes were worn out'. He highlighted the Congress government's commitment to welfare, stating that the six guarantee promises made during the elections are being fulfilled. 'We are providing welfare schemes to everyone, regardless of party affiliation,' he said. The Minister also revealed plans to establish skill universities aimed at equipping students with technical education and enhancing their career prospects. The event was attended by Additional Collector Vijayender Reddy, former MLA Sudheer Reddy, party constituency in-charge Vajresh Yadav, along with several party leaders and officials.

PC Ghose's Commission Report To Be Tabled In Telangana Assembly: Chief Minister Revanth Reddy
The Telangana government has decided to take action on the Justice P C Ghose Commission's report into the Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Scheme, but only after a detailed discussion in both the Legislative Assembly and Legislative Council. This was announced by Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and Irrigation Minister N Uttam Kumar Reddy in a joint press conference on Monday after a cabinet meeting to discuss the report's findings. The cabinet, for the first time, met with the Kaleshwaram project as its sole agenda and formally approved the 665-page report. Irrigation Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy, in a detailed presentation to the media, highlighted the key findings of the commission. The report, which was submitted to the government on July 31, holds former Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao "directly and vicariously accountable" for the alleged irregularities as reported earlier by NDTV. According to Uttam Kumar Reddy, the report states that crucial decisions, including the site changes and administrative approvals for the Medigadda, Annaram, and Sundilla barrages, were made without cabinet approval, in violation of business rules. When former Chief Minister KCR, former irrigation minister Harish Rao, and former finance and planning minister Eatela Rajender had deposed before the commission, all three had insisted that all decisions were presented before the cabinet and all approvals were given by the cabinet. The commission found "rampant and brazen procedural and financial irregularities" from the project's conceptualization to its execution. The report also implicated several senior officers and engineers for their roles in the lapses. The commission identified 19 officials as liable for action. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy emphasised that the government's intention is not to pursue political vendetta. He stated that the government would table the report in the upcoming Assembly session to seek the opinion of all political parties before finalizing a course of action. This, he said, would ensure a transparent and democratic process to address the "colossal waste of public money" that the commission concluded the project had become.
