Living in a small village together and being the only children their age, the two boys find solace in each other. Their friendship seems picturesque at first glance, but Yoshiki has noticed a shift in Hikaru's demeanour ever since one fateful summer.
The 'Hikaru' that sits beside him now is nothing like his friend. Despite his physical appearance and memories remaining exactly the same, Yoshiki knows something is amiss and that the Hikaru he once knew is gone. When he brings this up, Hikaru partially transforms into an otherworldly being, threatening to kill Yoshiki if he cannot accept it—while also professing its love for him.
While this is going on, strange occurrences begin to plague their village, bringing unsettling chaos…

Liam Payne's final TV project is set to air this week, nine months after the former One Direction singer tragically died after falling from his hotel in Argentina Liam Payne's family have spoken out about his upcoming Netflix show – his final project before his death. The late One Direction singer tragically died aged 31 in October last year, after falling from the third floor of his hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina. But before his death, the Wolverhampton-born singer had been working alongside some huge names in the music industry on a new Netflix show, which is set to air this week. Liam teamed up with Nicole Scherzinger, who created One Direction, as well as Kelly Rowland and host, Backstreet Boys icon, AJ McLean, for Building The Band. While the show is to be released almost a year after Liam's death, his family have been very vocal about the programme and their views on it. In the series, Liam is at his happiest, helping artists discover their talent and assisting them on their journey of finding success. But it comes with a hint of sadness for his loved ones, with his sister Ruth admitting she was torn about discussing the show online. She said she was "heartbroken" that her little brother would never see how "brilliant" he is on the show. Ruth shared on her Instagram Stories: "I didn't know whether to share this, but it felt odd when I've raved about Liam's work and achievements for the past 15 years. "I'm heartbroken he never got the chance to see how brilliant he is in this show. He knew he had done a good job, we all told him this when we were at filming, but watching it back, wow!" She went on to add: "You're a star Liam, you always were and always will be. There are a range of emotions I felt watching this, but one of the main ones is immeasurable pride, always. Miss you more every day." The Payne family have also given their blessing for the show to air. A source said: "Netflix have gone out of their way to make sure his family are happy." They concluded by saying: "Producers sent them the footage so they are fully aware of what to expect and they have given it their blessing." Netflix have ensured that Liam's legacy will be cemented on the programme and he will remain a firm key feature on the show. A source said: "Even though Liam had filmed a substantial amount of material for the show, the decision was made shortly after his passing to continue the project, honour his legacy and amazing story as a One Direction member and bring this series to audiences." The streaming giant said: "Liam Payne's family reviewed the series and is supportive of his inclusion." Meanwhile, Simon Hay, the show's shooting producer-director has since praised Liam for his time on the programme, saying Payne was "chatty and approachable," and remembered contestants names. Another member of the crew said that Liam was "charming" while filming and "Really wanted to help" those taking part. At the start of the show, Liam will also be remembered in a very moving tribute. Host AJ says: "When we came together to film Building The Band, we never imagined we'd soon be saying goodbye to our friend, Liam Payne. "Liam is a guest judge in later episodes and through his presence we see his deep love for music and his unwavering commitment to helping others find their voice. It is through that spirit that we dedicate this series to Liam and his family." 'Pervasively heartbreaking' horror film available to stream on Netflix
A debut horror film from newcomer directors dubbed 'emotionally brutal' and 'terrifying' is available to stream ahead of their chilling follow-up, released this month. Bring Her Back is the second film from Michael and Danny Philippou, better known as YouTubers RackaRacka, with more than six million subscribers. The film is released on July 26, telling the story of two step-siblings placed into foster care following the death of their father, who discover a terrifying ritual in the secluded home of their new family. It already holds an 89% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and has been hailed as 'depraved' and 'disturbingly tense' from early screenings. But before Bring Her Back comes to terrify audiences, horror fans can watch the brothers' first film, Talk To Me, on Netflix. While Bring Her Back is not a sequel to Talk To Me, they both boast interesting ruminations on grief, not to mention plenty of nerve-shredding sequences. Barack Obama to be interviewed live on stage at London and Dublin events
Former US president Barack Obama is to be interviewed live on stage for two events in London and Dublin. The 63-year-old, who became the first black US president when he took office in 2009, will be interviewed by TV historian David Olusoga for the event at London's The O2 on September 24, before chatting with Irish journalist Fintan O'Toole at Dublin's 3Arena on September 26. An Evening With President Barack Obama will see the former president speak about his experiences in the role and the future for the US. Stuart Galbraith, chief executive of Kilimanjaro, and Alex Fane, chief executive of Fane Group, the groups organising the events, said in a joint statement: 'We are incredibly honoured to bring President Obama to the UK and Ireland for these truly special events. 'His message of unity and progress resonates deeply, and we anticipate an evening that will inspire and empower all who attend. 'We believe in providing exceptional experiences, and this event perfectly aligns with our mission to connect people with inspiring moments.' Tickets for the events go on sale at 10am on Thursday July 10, with 100 tickets set aside in each city for charitable organisations. Since his presidency ended, Mr Obama has signed a deal with Netflix, alongside his wife Michelle, to produce documentaries, documentary series, and features for the streaming platform under their Higher Ground Productions company. In 2022, he won the best narrator Emmy for his work on the Netflix documentary series Our Great National Parks, while he previously won Grammy awards for his audiobook reading of two of his memoirs, The Audacity Of Hope and Dreams From My Father.
