IGNOU Launches BA Home Science under FYUP for July session
The programme, as mentioned in the press release, is designed in line with the curriculum and credit framework of the University Grants Commission and the New Education Policy (NEP) 2020 to meet the demand for specialisation in diverse disciplines within Home Science / Community Science. The examination will be conducted annually. The fee structure of the course is Rs 5000 per year, which is inclusive of registration fees and development fees as applicable.
The programme aims to empower students with a comprehensive understanding of Human Development and Family Studies, Community Resource Management, Food and Nutrition, Extension and Communication and Fabric and Apparel Sciences. IIT Madras to conduct free STEM training for college faculty; important dates, how to apply
The Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras) Teaching Learning Centre (TLC) is set to conduct a residential training programme for college faculty in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biotechnology. Chennai, Aug 11 (UNI) Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras) Teaching Learning Centre (TLC) today announced launch of a training program on STEM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) and Biotechnology for college faculty across the country. It will focus on faculty development, covering fundamental and advanced topics in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology besides practical lab sessions and exposure to frontier research. Organised under Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Programme (MMTTP), this in-person, residential Capacity Building Program is provided free of cost for faculty engaged in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate science courses. IIT Madras TLC has partnered with BodhBridge Education for this initiative, which is targeted towards college faculty across India. Focus on innovation: Former CJI NV Ramana to engineering students
VIJAYAWADA: The 37th batch and 10th graduation day of RVR & JC College of Engineering, Chowdavaram, was celebrated on Saturday with former Chief Justice of India NV Ramana as chief guest and Andhra Pradesh Council of Higher Education Chairman Prof. K Madhu Murthy as guest of honour. Justice Ramana said, 'Technology can create miracles and solve problems easily, but only 10 per cent of India's 1.5 million engineering graduates are likely to get jobs. Even IIT placements dropped to 60% in 2024. Students must equip themselves with skills, respect their mother tongue, and master English for global opportunities.' Prof. Madhu Murthy urged students to turn challenges into opportunities. A total of 1,023 and 153 PG students received degrees, with gold medals for toppers.
