Car found at Aberdeenshire beauty spot amid search for Huntly man
Officers say they are 'growing increasingly concerned' for the 40-year-old – who is described as being around 5' 7' with brown hair and wearing blue trousers, boots and carrying a green rucksack.
On Monday, Police Scotland said that Parsons's vehicle had been found at Battle Hill car park.

Battle Hill, in Huntly, is said to be the site of a 14th-century skirmish between the Gordons and Comyns. Today, it has walking trails and a viewpoint offering 'sweeping views over Huntly', according to the town's development trust.
Inspector Barry Stewart said: 'We are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of Jonathan who has not been seen for several days.
'We are carrying out searches in the areas of River Bogie and Battle Hill Woods areas.
'Anyone with any information as to the whereabouts of Jonathan is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident 1449 of 6 July 2025.'

In a post on social media she said: 'My dog has eaten something toxic in the gramps at Kincorth and has passed away. 'It looks like it's something he's eaten up there. 'There's been a few stories floating about that other dogs have been eating the same stuff. 'Could you make people aware to take extra care if they're walking their dogs there.' Locals suggested the pet may have consumed Hogweed, which poses a serious danger to animals as well as humans. But others accused 'sick' people of deliberately trying to harm dogs by leaving out toxic substances. They urged the bereaved owner to call in the cops. One poster claimed they knew of another pet that fell ill after being walked in the same area. They said: 'The dog has been at the emergency vets all night for the same thing. They put her on an IV. 'The vet thinks it was cannabis and her symptoms suggest that. She's not out of the woods yet but is better than last night. The original post was put up by Fubar News on Facebook and concerned residents posted hundreds of messages. One said: 'So sorry for your loss. What an awful thing to happen. "We walk our dog there daily, is there any information about what areas or what the substance looks like?' Another added: 'What a wicked thing to do. They are such a big part of our families. That is a terrible way to lose her.' There is no evidence that anyone is deliberately trying to hurt dogs in the Gramps area. The Scottish SPCA said it was not aware of the alleged incident. Police Scotland have been approached for comment.
