Former Bayern Munich midfielder Corentin Tolisso is coming off of a solid season for Olympique Lyon and has drawn interest from both Manchester United and Atlético Madrid:
Manchester United are reportedly looking to make a surprise move to sign France international Corentin Tolisso from Lyon, contacting the midfielder's entourage as they look to strengthen their squad this summer. Tolisso, who impressed in Ligue 1 last season, is reportedly open to joining the Premier League giants – but the Red Devils face competition from Atlético Madrid.
Manchester United have officially reached out to Tolisso's representatives to explore a summer move, according to L'Equipe. The Lyon midfielder is under contract until 2027 but could be sold due to the club's ongoing financial struggles. Atlético Madrid have also shown interest as they prepare for Rodrigo De Paul's potential exit to Inter Miami.
Tolisso's career was derailed by an ACL injury that left him without the explosiveness that was once a trademark for his box-to-box play. Always a solid teammate, it is good to see him getting back on his feet.

Al Nassr have identified AC Milan and USMNT winger Christian Pulisic as a possible option to strengthen their attack, Rudy Galetti reports. The Saudi Pro League side are assessing their next steps to bring in the 26-year-old, with the inclusion of 31-year-old center-back Aymeric Laporte an idea that has been considered. This could see Pulisic link up with Sadio Mané and Cristiano Ronaldo in attack for the Riyadh-based club with a FIFA World Cup on home soil at the end of next season.

As the transfer wheels turn, Liverpool FC has allegedly set a new price on Luis Diaz, so if Bayern Munich wants to make a move, there is a number they can point to:
Liverpool have set a new price tag on Luis Díaz amid growing interest from both Barcelona and Bayern Munich in the summer transfer window.
Speaking on the latest edition of Football Insider's Inside Track podcast, senior correspondent Pete O'Rourke revealed what sources have told him about the 28-year-old's future at Anfield.
Arne Slot is planning for the Colombia international to be a part of his squad in the upcoming season, but a fee of £69 million would force him to consider his options.
This comes after Football Insider revealed on 13 July that Díaz is 'in negotiations' over leaving Liverpool with talks over a new contract yet to progress.
As things stand, neither Bayern Munich nor Barcelona are willing to meet his asking price, with the former having set a price cap of £51 million in their pursuit.

But it is reported that Ekitike's preference is to remain in Europe if he leaves the Bundesliga for around €100m this summer, following a campaign in which he scored 15 goals in 33 league appearances, and the St. James' Park hierarchy have identified him as an alternative option to bolster manager Eddie Howe's attack after former Brighton forward João Pedro made the switch to Chelsea.

Arteta coy on Gyokeres, but says 'a lot of time left' for transfers
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta was reluctant to talk Monday about transfer target Viktor Gyokeres, but said there was "a lot of time left in the window" to strengthen his squad. Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has high hopes for defender Riccardo Calafiori after an injury-hit debut season. Calafiori, who arrived from Bologna last season, suffered multiple injuries that kept him sidelined for some of the Gunners biggest fixtures throughout the season. Liverpool forward on the brink of agreeing transfer move
Diaz and Bayern are close It's the German giants Bayern Munich who have displayed the most interest in Diaz so far and they're intent on getting their man, despite the high €100m asking price that Liverpool have put on him. We didn't know if Liverpool would consider budging on their demands, since the stance that club has shown so far has been one of 'he's not for sale', but the latest reports claims there's been movement. According to Nicolo Schira, who posted an update on X: "Luis Diaz is getting closer to Bayern Munich from Liverpool for €75m. Agreement in principle with the winger for a contract until 2030." That figure would equate to around £65m which is £16m profit on the £49m Liverpool paid in 2022.
