Bradford police searching for answers after parking lot crash involving Corvette
Police in Bradford are searching for answers after a parking lot crash involving a Corvette occurred last month.
It happened on July 30, just after 8 p.m., outside of a Holland Street West business. Video footage obtained by police shows a driver of a white Lexus SUV colliding into a black Chevrolet Corvette that was unoccupied and parked.
The man is seen leaving the area, driving through a retail plaza parking lot.
The driver tied to the investigation is described as white, of average build and height, with short brown hair, wearing brown pants, a black suit jacket, and a light-colored dress shirt.
South Simcoe Police are appealing to anyone who can help identify the suspect, or has information from that night.

Man shot dead by police in Vancouver's Joyce-Collingwood area
Social Sharing A man was shot dead by Vancouver police late Tuesday afternoon in the Joyce-Collingwood neighbourhood. The IIO, B.C.'s civilian-led police watchdog, is looking into the case. No one else was injured. The Independent Investigations Office of B.C., which investigates all instances of death or serious harm that may have been the result of police action or inaction, is looking into the case. In its own statement, the IIO said that police were called to a residential building near the intersection where the shooting happened. The VPD said the case was an "unfolding investigation" and it would not provide further information at this point.

In a brief statement, the Vancouver Police Department said officers responded to a 911 call regarding a dispute between two neighbours near Rupert Street and Vanness Avenue around 4 p.m. 'When officers arrived, they encountered a man with a weapon and the suspect was shot by police,' the VPD wrote. 'Paramedics attempted to revive the suspect, but he subsequently died at the scene.' Police said nobody else was injured during the incident. The Independent Investigations Office of B.C. was called in, as it is in any event where a person dies during an interaction with police. It will determine whether the officer or officers involved may have committed an offence. The IIO asked anyone who witnessed the shooting to call 1-855-446-8477 or use the contact form on its website.
