Following actor Shah Rukh Khan's national award win, an old video has resurfaced in which the actor expressed that he should have won the award for the 2004 film 'Swades'. The award instead went to his contemporary, Saif Ali Khan, for his performance in 'Hum Tum', which was released in the same year.In the video dating back to the late 2000s, Khan, standing alongside 'Hum Tum' director Kunal Kohli, can be seen saying during an event, "See, main dil ka bahut acha hoon. Saari filmein achi lagti hain, saare hero ache lagte hain, saari heroine achi lagti hain, har cheez achi lagti hai (I am good by heart. I like all films, all heroes, and all heroines). I am a simple-minded person; I like everything, including your films. I have loved them all."advertisementHe continued, "'Fanaa' was very good. I think 'Hum Tum' was very nice. His actor won the National Award for 'Hum Tum' when I think I should have got it, but that's another story." He then laughed slyly, while Kohli was left feeling awkward. The humorous remark was met with laughter, with even Kohli smiling sheepishly.
