
Momoland to make a comeback after three years
Momoland will release a new song on September 8, Soompi reported on Wednesday.
The comeback comes over three years after the release of their collaboration track "Yummy Yummy Love" with Dominican singer Natti Natasha in 2022.
In 2023, the members parted ways with their former agency, MLD Entertainment, following the expiration of their contracts. They also announced their disbandment.
In May, Momoland signed with Inyeon Entertainment and began gearing up for their long-awaited comeback.
Composed of Hyebin, Jane, Nayun, JooE, Ahin, and Nancy, Momoland debuted in 2016 with the mini album "Welcome to Momoland." They are known for their hit songs "BBoom BBoom," and "BAAM."

South Korean actor Song Young Kyu passes away
South Korean actor Song Young Kyu, known for starring in the film "Extreme Job," has passed away. Yonhap News Agency reported that Song was found dead inside a car on Monday in a residential building in Yongin by an acquaintance. According to South Korean police, there were no signs of foul play nor a note discovered at the scene. Song is survived by his wife and two children. According to Soompi, the actor was caught drunk driving in Yongin back in June. He had reportedly driven under the influence for about five kilometers and was referred to the appropriate legal authorities. Following the incident, he was dropped from his roles in the TV shows"The Defects" and "The Winning Try," as well as the play "Shakespeare in Love," per the report.
