Flowable stands out for its ability to bring people, software and digital tools together in a single system. Teams can create custom workflows, decide when certain actions should happen using automation and adjust processes as needed.

The platform is based on open industry standards, which makes it easier to connect with other systems that a company already uses. This helps businesses avoid building from scratch or relying on multiple tools that don't work well together.

Short Sellers Pile Into UK Bakery Chain Greggs as Growth Wanes

By and Lisa Pham Save Short sellers are betting against Greggs Plc at levels not seen since the global financial crisis, as the UK bakery chain struggles to convince investors that opening more shops will boost lackluster sales. Greggs stock out on loan — an indication of short interest — reached 9% of shares outstanding as of Tuesday, according to data from S&P Global Market Intelligence. That's the highest since March 2008, with the bulk of this year's activity occurring in the past four months.

William Hill owner says UK football stakes slimmer since Euro 2024

The company behind William Hill and 888 has said less cash spent on bets this year and stricter gambling rules helped drag on its sales in the UK. Evoke (EVOK.L) said its gaming division had strengthened but sports betting had 'lagged' over the first half of 2025. In the UK and Ireland, its biggest market, it made £588.4 million in revenues, 1.4% lower than the same period last year. A decrease in sports revenues was partly driven by lower stakes – meaning the money punters place on a bet – than last year when the men's football Euro 2024 tournament happened. The company also said safer gambling measures, introduced last year to increase consumer protections, were partly behind the decline in online betting. However, its overall sales, which includes its international operations, increased by 3% year-on-year to £887.8 million. Evoke said this was driven by surging sales in Italy, Denmark and Romania. Meanwhile, the company said it had rolled out 5,000 new gaming machines across its betting shops to help boost the retail division. It also highlighted efforts to reduce costs across the business, including by using automation and artificial intelligence for elements like player safety and fraud detection. It comes amid greater cost pressures including from national insurance contributions and the national minimum wage, which both increased in April, and tax changes in Romania. Evoke reported a pre-tax loss of £64.7 million for the first half – narrower than the £143.2 million loss made last year. On an adjusted basis, which strips out the impact of what it deems one-off costs, it returned to a profit of £5.4 million, from a £29.9 million loss the prior year. Shares in the business jumped by about 6% on Wednesday morning. Pound strengthens after British jobs data

LONDON (Reuters) -The pound strengthened against the euro for the fourth session in a row on Tuesday after British labour market data which analysts said would not affect the Bank of England's cautious stance on interest rate cuts due to high inflation. The euro was last down 0.24% on the pound at 86.24 pence, its lowest since late July. The pair have been more volatile this year than last, when the euro and pound traded largely in lockstep, as the Bank of England and European Central Bank have been cutting interest rates at different speeds. The British currency also strengthened against the dollar, gaining 0.28% to $1.3469, though that may change after U.S. inflation data at 1230 GMT which will shape expectations of Federal Reserve policy. The domestic news of the day for the pound was data showing Britain's jobs market weakened in July but less sharply than in previous months. Wage growth, meanwhile, stayed strong in the three months to June, other data showed, underscoring why the Bank of England is so cautious about cutting interest rates. "In any other (developed market) economy, a print as seen today would likely cause alarm bells around the state of the labour market. In the UK, however, this print is, per the initial market reaction, seen as relatively robust," analysts at Morgan Stanley wrote. "The difference, of course, is the central bank's reaction function. The BoE ... seems firmly focused on inflation and spot pay data." The BoE cut rates by 25 basis points last week as expected, but only by the narrowest margin - four of the nine rate setters voted to keep rates on hold due to concerns about elevated inflation, partly due to wage growth. Markets now only see around a 50% chance of a further rate cut this year.
