Xbox's second batch of Game Pass additions for July includes Grounded 2 and Wheel World

Xbox has confirmed the second batch of Game Pass additions for July . There's no obvious headliner here, but there are a bunch of great additions to the catalog. These include indie hits like Wheel World and blockbusters like Robocop: Rogue City . Let's get into it. To view this content, you'll need to update your privacy settings. Robocop: Rogue City came as a huge surprise back in 2023. A game based on a decades-old sci-fi franchise by a relatively unknown developer? It should have been a train wreck. Instead, it's a solid 3D action title that perfectly captures the vibe of the original film. This is a must-play for children of the 1980s. It'll be available on July 17 for subscribers on all tiers. Grounded 2 looks to be a fantastic take on the "shrunken teens navigating a yard" genre, as first pioneered in the film Honey, I Shrunk the Kids . The first game was great and Obsidian looks to be upping the ante here in nearly every way , with a larger focus on story, a more immersive world and insects to ride around on. This is a day one Game Pass release, which happens on July 29. It'll only be playable for PC and Ultimate subscribers. To view this content, you'll need to update your privacy settings. The Annapurna-published Wheel World is finally heading our way on July 23, and it's a day one Game Pass release. This is an open-world bicycle sim with gorgeous cel-shaded graphics. The title promises "impressive vistas, hidden secrets and races that will test your skills." It'll be available for Ultimate and PC subscribers. Wuchang: Fallen Feathers is another day one release, with availability on July 24. This is a Souls-like action RPG set in the final days of the Ming Dynasty. The combat looks absolutely brutal. Again, only Ultimate and PC subscribers will have access to the game.
Those are just the titles that caught my interest. The shooter High On Life returns to the platform today and the survival horror adventure My Friendly Neighborhood drops on July 17. The prison-based RPG Back to the Dawn will be playable on July 18 and the survival crafting title Abiotic Factor releases on July 22. As always, Game Pass remains one heck of a deal .

This can't be real! We just gave this new TCL Mini-LED TV 4 stars in our review and it's $900 off right now

If you're in the market for a new display, I think I've found the perfect model slashed to all-new lows, one we just reviewed — and gave a four-stars. Right now, you can get the 65-inch TCL QM8K Mini-LED TV for $1,597 at Amazon. That's $900 slashed on this 2025 set we gave a recommended score to, but you better act fast. Amazon only has 9 left, so you don't have long before they're all gone. (For more sales, check out our guide to this week's best TV deals). The TCL QM8K is the flagship Mini-LED TV in its 2025 lineup, offering incredible brightness and superb color performance. Like most of TCL's models, it's also built on Google TV, netting you access to all the best streaming apps, and comes equipped with a range of gaming features that make it stand out. VRR is the big ticket item, but the QM8K can also play games up to 288Hz when playing in 1080p. Price check: Best Buy @ $1,599 We were stunned with the results for the TCL QM8K, especially against the competition. It's one of TCL's most advanced Mini-LED TVs to date, exemplified by its incredible color performance, motion processing, and higher brightness specs. In our review of the TCL QM8K, we gave it a recommended score at four stars, highlighting these advancements in tandem with its exceptional gaming prowess. One thing that allows the QM8K to stand out is its leveraging of Google TV. That means it comes equipped with some of the best streaming services and, most importantly, tons of free content. Google's always adding new shows and channels to its lineup, and TCL itself just added a more free content with a partnership with AMC. What excited me most about the QM8K was its gaming features. While it might skimp out on the coveted 165Hz refresh rate that other rivals are taking up in an effort to wrangle more gamers, including LG and Hisense, it does have a neat feature that allows it to hit 288Hz in 1080p. It does this via VRR, and it's a sick feature if you're a PC gamer, but don't expect to hit those highs on a Nintendo Switch 2. Even with our enthusiasm, the TCL QM8K isn't without some mishaps. It's biggest blunder is its rather middling audio, which is to be expected with most TVs these days and why we always recommend pairing them up with one of the best soundbars. The neat thing is the QM8K does have Dolby Atmos support and offers an ATSC 3.0 tuner, netting you access to Nextgen TV. But if the QM8K isn't quite what you're looking for in a new display and want something a little on the cheaper side, might I recommend this Panasonic Mini-LED TV from 2024. It's also a four-star-recommend from us and is loaded with tons of features at just $500!

New Report Says Xbox's ‘Fable' May Not Release Until 2027

Fable It's fairly easy to see which AAA games are going to miss their originally stated release date or window, as that's…almost all of them. For instance, Rockstar swearing that GTA 6 would be out this fall, I never once believed that. Sure enough, we're gearing up to play GTA 6 in late spring in 2026 now. This also happened with Fable, allegedly a 2025 release, but back in February, it was delayed to an unspecified time in 2026. Now, it turns out it may be even longer than that. The news comes from reputable Xbox insider Shpeshal Nick, who said on the Xbox Era podcast that two sources have told him that Fable may not arrive until 2027. Not that anything is going especially wrong, just that it's just taking longer than they thought. You can join this with the statement from Head of Xbox Game Studios Craig Duncan back when the original delay was announced, if you want a look at the delay headspace, which may happen twice: 'So, I just want to start with really excited, really excited about progress, really excited where Playground are,' said Duncan. 'We previously announced the date for Fable as 2025, we are actually going to give Fable more time and it's going to ship in 2026 now. While I know that's not maybe the news people want to hear, what I want to assure people of is that it's definitely worth the wait. And I just, I have unequivocal confidence in the Playground team.' For a long while, Microsoft returning to classic IPs, Fable and Perfect Dark, felt like its two biggest pending games. But in the wake of a slew of layoffs and cancellations, Perfect Dark was axed and its entire studio, The Initiative, was shut down. Could that happen to Fable? It seems far less likely. The Initiative was a brand-new studio while Playground is something of a crown jewel in the Xbox stable with their history working on the always-great Forza. Second, Perfect Dark was reportedly plagued with issues for a long time, while we haven't heard similar doom and gloom for Fable, even if it keeps getting delayed. FEATURED | Frase ByForbes™ Unscramble The Anagram To Reveal The Phrase Pinpoint By Linkedin Guess The Category Queens By Linkedin Crown Each Region Crossclimb By Linkedin Unlock A Trivia Ladder Still, this is a typical 'announce it a million years before it's ready' situation, as Fable was first revealed back in 2020 when the Xbox Series X and S also debuted. If we're talking 2027 now, well, you can do the math. Even if nothing is explicitly 'wrong,' it's still emblematic of where AAA development is now. The last we saw of Fable was a trailer at the Xbox Games Showcase in June of 2024, seen above, a two and a half minute spot that was a lot more than we'd seen previously. Judging by the amount of dislikes on all these trailers, the game already seems poised to be the product of some culture war nonsense given its focus on a female lead that is not deemed sufficiently attractive by some, but it's a created character game, and we'll see if we can perhaps escape all this drama by launch. One of our favorite gaming monitors just got slashed by $130 at Amazon — get it before it's gone

I've reviewed a lot of gaming monitors over the years, and one that stands out the most is the Alienware AW3423DWF. While it's been updated with the Alienware AW3425DW, the original model is still one of the best gaming monitors. The good news is that you can buy it now at a nice discount. Right now, Amazon is selling the Alienware AW3423DWF gaming monitor for $649. This is the same price we saw during Prime Day, which saves you $130. Even if this isn't the latest model, it can still deliver an overall excellent gaming experience. Here's why you should seriously consider buying the Alienware AW3423DWF. As I said in my Alienware AW3423DWF review, this is one of the best gaming monitors for playing the best PC games. It's also perfect for the best PS5 games and best Xbox Series X games. You get excellent contrast levels and boosted brightness thanks to the monitor's superb OLED quantum dot panel. The curved 21:9 aspect ratio and sharp 3440 x 1440 resolution help draw you into the games you're playing. You also get performance to match the picture quality. The fast 165Hz refresh rate and low 0.1ms response time enable games to run smoothly and with no perceptible input lag. The new AW3425DWF has a faster 240Hz refresh rate and a lower 0.03ms response time, but you might not be able to tell the difference (unless you're a professional gamer). The only drawback with the Alienware AW3423DWF is that it might be too big for some folks' gaming or office setups. Other than that, this is a gaming monitor I can still wholly recommend to just about any gamer looking for an upgrade.
