Dhanush was among the many notable celebrities who attended the screening of Ajay Devgn's Son Of Sardaar 2.
Son of Sardaar 2, the sequel to the 2011 action comedy, has finally been released in theatres on Friday, August 1. Before it hit cinemas, the makers hosted a special screening in Mumbai on July 31, which several popular names in the industry attended. The film's star cast, including Mrunal Thakur, Kubbra Sait, and Ravi Kishan, were also in attendance.
Among the notable attendees was South star Dhanush. The 42-year-old actor made a stylish entry on the red carpet amid camera flashes, looking absolutely dapper in a white T-shirt paired with a blue jacket and trousers. And the best thing about his look was that he did not forget to accessorise. Dhanush opted for a classy watch, a pair of white sneakers, and a silver chain that added just the right amount of edge to his overall look.

What Is The Story Of Son Of Sardaar 2?
Directed by Vijay Kumar Arora, Son Of Sardaar 2 will see Ajay Devgn reprising his role as Jaswinder 'Jassi" Singh Randhawa. The upcoming film, which is the spiritual sequel to the 2011 film Son of Sardaar, promises to be a mix of high-octane action and rib-tickling comedy.
Son of Sardaar 2 will see Jassi flying to Scotland to win back his estranged wife. Once there, he gets entangled in a mob conflict, a hostage crisis, and a chaotic wedding. The film also features Mrunal Thakur, Ravi Kishan, Neeru Bajwa, Deepak Dobriyal, Kubbra Sait, Chunkey Panday, Vindu Dara Singh, Roshni Walia and others.
Son of Sardaar 2 also marks Mukul Dev's posthumous films. Initially, it was scheduled to release on July 25, but was released in theatres on August 1, clashing with Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri's Dhadak 2.
What's Next For Dhanush?
Dhanush was most recently seen in the action crime drama Kuberaa, featuring Nagarjuna Akkineni, Rashmika Mandanna, Jim Sarbh and Dalip Tahil. The Sekhar Kammula directorial was released in theatres on June 20. Right now, the 42-year-old actor has Aanand L. Rai's Tere Ishk Mein, co-starring Kriti Sanon, in the pipeline. The release date of the film is not known yet, but the filming has been completed.
He will also be seen in the Tamil-language film Idly Kadai, slated to release in October this year. Apart from these, he has several movies in his kitty.

On Wednesday too, it achieved significant numbers, emerging as a true audience favourite. According to Mahavatar Narsimha earned Rs 6 crore on Wednesday across all languages, pushing its 12-day domestic total to a staggering Rs 112.8 crore. In week two, the mythological drama saw a surge in collections fueled by growing word-of-mouth and a strong social media buzz surrounding the film. Mahavatar Narsimha clocked an overall Hindi occupancy of 13.64 per cent on Wednesday, August 6. The film saw steady growth through the day, with 7.41 per cent occupancy in morning shows, 11.10 per cent in the afternoon, and 15.24 per cent in the evening.
