The new edition of the famous game has a total development cost of nearly $2 billion, surpassing the $1.5 billion cost of the Burj Khalifa, Dubai's iconic 828-meter skyscraper, which was built over six years.Rockstar Games, the New York City-based video game publisher, has been developing GTA VI for nearly seven years, with a planned release around 2026.
The game's development includes countless details, which explain its massive budget. Notably, it will feature a vast map, revolutionary physics, hyper-realistic graphics, and hundreds of music tracks.
