A food blogger couple were mid-bite recording a review when a car smashed through the restaurant and showered them with glass shards.
Influencers Nina Unrated and Patrick Blackwood were filming with a table full of food at CuVee's Culinary Creations in Houston, Texas, when an SUV rammed into the establishment.
They had just done a cheers tap with their salmon sliders and were a few chews in and reacting 'mmm' with satisfaction, when glass went flying in front of them.
The footage, including a slow motion version, was shared on Instagram by Nina on Monday and showed the couple blown off their seats to the left, with their faces overcome with shock.
Nina fell off the booth, and Patrick followed shortly after with glass pieces all over his lap.
Four employees at the restaurant at the back near the bar and kitchen watched with their jaws dropped.
The influencers said they were 'just sitting in a cozy booth at our favorite restaurant, enjoying happy hour with an amazing spread of salmon sliders, presidential oysters, a macaroni and cheese flight (classic, lobster, and truffle), shrimp and grits, and some refreshing drinks', and that the SUV crashed through at 35 to 40mph.
'No warning at all, glass shattered everywhere, chaos erupted, and it hit right next to Patrick on the outside of the booth,' said Nina, who has 230,000 Instagram followers.
'We were inches from disaster, but by some miracle, we're both okay, just shaken and forever changed.'
In separate social media posts, each of them revealed their injuries. Nina had cuts and bruises on her face and body and was recovering at a hospital.
Patrick, who has more than 40,000 Instagram followers, had wounds on his face and head and stitches on cuts on his body.
'Grateful to see another day, walking away from the small stuff with a big purpose,' he said.
The restaurant owner told TMZ that the SUV driver was unscathed and that she will be held accountable for the damages to the business. Authorities told the media outlet that the driver was not impaired and that it was a freak accident. More Trending
Nina posted that she was 'beyond grateful to be alive'.
'This experience showed me who truly matters; life's too short for grudges or anger. Let go, forgive, live in the now, and cherish those around you,' she wrote.
'This could've been our last meal.'
It happened more than seven months after a Porsche SUV crashed into a barber shop in West Houston that was full of customers and hit a 10-year-old boy. The terrifying moment was captured on a Ring camera and showed debris flying and people running in all directions. The boy was rushed to a hospital and had surgery for internal bleeding.

We finally know when everyone's favourite guilty pleasure is returning to Netfli

Netflix's biggest escapist smash is coming back for season five in a matter of months. Emily in Paris, with its titular beret aficionado (Lily Collins) and her ever-dramatic love life, is set to return to the streaming service just in time for Christmas. Season four of the Europe-hopping drama, complete with miniature croissant stress-level storylines, delivered a cliffhanger that questioned the entire premise of the show. The finale left Paris in favour of Rome, and then the final season scene saw our fashion-forward heroine start to change her Instagram handle, from @EmilyinParis to @Emilyin…. Rome? Maybe. We never find out, because her new love interest Marcello (Eugenio Franceschini) comes knocking. Wake up to find news on your TV shows in your inbox every morning with Metro's TV Newsletter. Sign up to our newsletter and then select your show in the link we'll send you so we can get TV news tailored to you. After a year's wait, we will finally be able to find out where exactly Emily stands with Paris. The official Netflix account on X shared first-look pictures at season five, with the caption: 'Benvenuto! Your first look at Emily in Paris season five is here, coming to Netflix December 18!' So we're only a few months away from more classic, girl TV. And there's more good news yet, folks. This season will not follow in the footsteps of the last and split the episodes up into a two-part release. Instead, all 10 episodes of season five will arrive in one binge-worthy lot in December – hurrah! The first look photos tease not only Rome as a new hotspot on the show, but Venice, with Emily (and a new chic bob) seen jetting through the sinking city's waters. According to the season summary, Lily Collins' Emily Cooper is now the head of Agence Grateau Rome, and she faces challenges to her career and love life as she adjusts to her new home. We'll also see Lucien Laviscount's Alfie back, after a rather slim showing from the gruff Londoner in season four. Plus, Gabriel (Lucas Bravo) is still in the mix – despite making his not-entirely-praiseworthy thoughts on the last season very public. More Trending The official Netflix summary continues: 'But just as everything falls into place, a work idea backfires, and the fallout cascades into heartbreak and career setbacks. 'Seeking stability, Emily leans into her French lifestyle, until a big secret threatens one of her closest relationships. Tackling conflict with honesty, Emily emerges with deeper connections, renewed clarity, and a readiness to embrace new possibilities.' Kerry Katona defends Eamonn Holmes after his racial slur comment on live TV

Reality TV star Kerry Katona has defended Eamonn Holmes amid the backlash to the former This Morning presenter saying a racial slur on live TV. Kerry, 45, appeared on GB News this morning to talk about cosmetic surgery when she showcased the outcome of her facelift from the previous year. Kerry appeared visibly shocked when Eamonn described her eyes using a racially insensitive phrase that has been banned by the Home Office since 2021 due to its offensive nature. "Are you happy with the eyes?" Eamonn asked Kerry, to which his co-host Ellie Costello complimented, "They look good, they look lovely." Kerry agreed, saying, "Yeah," and went on to explain, "I had them done over a year ago now. You know it was making my eyes feel a bit heavy, so I had an uplift. But what I don't like is when.." However, as Kerry tried to continue, Eamonn interrupted with, "And you don't look Oriental or anything, do you?" Caught off guard, Kerry hesitated before responding, "I just wanted the skin removed. I didn't want to change my face; I just wanted the skin that was hanging over my eyes." Speaking on her Instagram Stories this afternoon, Kerry told Eamonn "I love you" and told her followers she was not "left speechless" or offended. The mum-of-five said: Right guys I've literally just come out from getting my facial, getting my Botox done and I've just seen the papers and the press. 'Eamonn Holmes has been one of my oldest and longest friends and I absolutely adore and love him to bits he said absolutely nothing untoward, towards me - I wasn't offended in anyway shape or form. I absolutely adore Eamonn, I truly adore him. I can't believe what I've just…' She then adds: 'Me speechless? It'll take a lot to make me bloody speechless that's for sure. But, Eamonn I love you truly, I adore you, I have no idea where this has come from. I love you Eamonn.' Towards the end of his breakfast show, after interviewing Kerry, Eamonn was forced to issue an apology to the audience for his earlier reference to the term "Oriental". He remarked, "Apparently, you're not allowed to describe someone as looking oriental or... I don't know how I would then describe Kerry Katona if her eyes change shape." The presenter on GB News went on: "I don't know how I'm going to say does she look like someone from some other country in the eastern of the world... The world is ridiculous. How you have to apologise for people... if she painted herself or... I don't know, I can't get into this. But anyway. "But Kerry looks beautiful," Ellie chimed in. "Kerry looks well," Eamonn agreed, before concluding with, "I'm sorry if you don't look well or if we have offended you in any way or... oh, I don't know."

Frankie Bridge details every single cosmetic procedure she's had done in honest post

The Saturdays star Frankie Bridge has opened up about all the tweakments and procedures she had done over the years after a fan begged her to 'share her secrets' Frankie Bridge has revealed all the cosmetic procedures and tweakments she underwent in an honest post shared on social media. The Saturdays star, 36, took part in a Q&A session with her followers on Instagram, and one user asked what tweakments she had done as she begged the singer to 'share her secrets'. ‌ Along with a close-up selfie taken in a car, Frankie thanked the user for telling her she 'looks amazing' before adding: "I always feel like this is a hard questions to answer because you get judged for sharing and judged for not being honest. ‌ "Ha, I get Botox and in the process of Polynucleotides for under eyes. I tried under eye filler 100 yars ago and didn't like it. ‌ "Also nearly passed out like 3 times. Embarrassing. I have a little filler in my lips but started all over again last year. Had it all dissolved and now only have a little. I've had a lip flip a few times. Sometimes I like it." She continued: "Sometimes I promise never again! I'm really bad at being consistent with my appointments. I'm on my last round of Aviclear @harley_st_injectables and I have to say I'm really starting to see the benefits. "Barely any spots. My biggest tip would be look after your skin. I never used to and I'd say that's the biggest change I've made." Her admission comes after she took to social media to share a cryptic message amid speculation of a huge rift between herself and Myleene Klass. She posted on TikTok as she enjoyed her latest getaway. In the clip, the star is filmed at a beach resort miming along to Manchild by Sabrina Carpenter. She was wearing a brown frilly dress in the upload as sh stood on a balcony at a villa. ‌ The video was captioned: "Taking 36 years to realise being a people pleaser doesn't please anyone." She went on: "Fad diets are a waste of time. Turns out it's all about balance?! Who knew?! Only you can make yourself happy." And Frankie added: "You can do the hard thing! You've got this." She then added a red love heart emoji to her post. Fans were quick to agree with her comments, letting their feelings be known on the post. ‌ She has been involved in a rumoured feud with Myleene and also her former bandmate Rochelle Humes in recent weeks, and ITV reportedly had to step in to ensure the panellists didn't cross paths. Despite the reported rift between Frankie and the ladies, they appeared to shut down the rumours as Rochelle and Frankie have both been interacting with one another on Instagram and showing their support for one another.
