Black Coffee and model bae celebrate fifth anniversary

Black Coffee – real name Nkosinathi Maphumulo – and his girlfriend Victoria Gonzalez are celebrating their fifth anniversary as a couple.
The DJ and the Venezuelan model first began dating in 2019, the same year he divorced his wife, Enhle Mbali.
Despite previously keeping their relationship private, Black Coffee and Victoria Gonzaléz have now opted to go public about their romance.
This includes posts on their vacations around the world, bonding with family and friends, and publicly praising each other on their Instagram accounts.
This week, the couple posted images of their five-year anniversary on their Instagram Stories. In the pics, taken in 2019 and again in 2025, Black Coffee and Victoria posed on the streets of Milan, where they hugged and kissed each other.
In 2019, Black Coffee and Enhle Mbali announced their official separation after tying the knot in a traditional wedding ceremony in 2011. They share two sons, Anesu and Asante.
What followed was a bitter split that involved plenty of dirty laundry.
Enhle – an actress – accused the DJ of physical, verbal, and financial abuse during and after their relationship. She also accused her ex of tapping her phone.
A year ago, Black Coffee told Kaya FM that he hoped to remarry one day.
He said, 'I modeled marriage my own way. Because of my parents' failing in marriage, and then not being raised by either of them
'You want to be the driver of this thing…you forget there is someone next to you'.
He continued: 'There are things we wish for people, and there's things they wish for themselves. And we make the mistake of imposing our wishes on them.
'I want to try marriage again just to understand it.'

Nearly 30 years after their breakthrough movie, "Goodwill Hunting", Matt Damon and Ben Affleck will be sharing the screen in their upcoming crime thriller, "The Rip". This collaboration marks another chapter in their long-standing friendship that dates back to elementary school in Cambridge, Massachusetts, where their journey began as neighbours and best friends. The film, directed by writer Joe Carnahan, known for his work on films such as "Narc" and "Smokin' Aces", features a stellar cast that includes Steven Yeun, Kyle Chandler, Teyana Taylor, Catalina Sandino Moreno, and Sasha Calle. Carnahan said in an online interview: "Working with Matt and Ben and having two, distinctly talented filmmakers, as both creative allies and the studio heads, wound up being the best of both worlds." He added that the process on set was a breeze, with Damon and Affleck providing unwavering support for his creative decisions. "The Rip" revolves around a team of Miami cops who, after discovering millions in cash in a derelict stash house, find their trust starting to erode. As outside forces get wind of the astounding seizure, the film delves into the murky waters of trust and loyalty. "The title for 'The Rip' is simply Miami cop parlance for 'taking the bad guy's stuff,' which is known as 'ripping' it", Carnahan explained. Damon and Affleck, who are now established A-list actors and producers, first gained fame for co-writing "Good Will Hunting", which won them an Oscar. Despite their numerous accolades, the pair have shared the screen in a limited number of films together. The duo recently teased "The Rip" during the Netflix Tudum 2025: The Live Event, where Affleck jokingly said: "I trusted Matt would shave the beard before Tudum - and here we are." Damon is currently sporting a beard for his role as Odysseus in Christopher Nolan's upcoming film "The Odyssey". Affleck described "The Rip" as "a really fun, engaging ride that keeps you guessing", promising a compelling human drama that intertwines moral dilemmas with thrilling cinematic elements reminiscent of classics like "Heat" and "Narc". "The Rip" is set for a global release on Netflix on January 16, 2026.

Hundreds of fans tuned in to watch the memorial service of leading actor, Presley Chweneyagae, held at the Mmabatho Convention Centre in Mahikeng, North West, but were left extremely disappointed. What was meant to be a heartfelt tribute turned into a frustrating experience for many, as the event was plagued by technical issues and delays. Starting more than an hour late at 11.15 am, viewers tuning into the live stream were initially eager to share their final messages and memories of the beloved actor in the comments section. As the service got underway, their anticipation quickly turned to disappointment as the stream was frequently interrupted, due to technical difficulties, leading many to voice their grievances online. He referred to Chweneyagae as one of Mahikeng's most "outstanding sons", recalling how Chweneyagae's rise to fame following his Oscar win for 'Tsotsi' in 2006 instilled hope in many young people in the area. "Like many of us here, I came to know Presley when he rose to stardom in 2006 after winning the Oscar for 'Totsi'. When it was released, there was so much talk and controversy around the movie, at least for the reason that there were two versions of how the movie ends: Does Tsotsi end up getting shot and killed by the police, or does he get arrested? "So many of us watched the movie to see how it ends. "It was during this time that we, as youngsters growing up in Mahikeng, had hoped for a better life because our dusty streets produced an international movie star ... That period was the pinnacle for the arts and culture in Mahikeng," said Mphehlo. He continued: "We are gathered here to bid farewell to a torch bearer of hope. Through the decades, we have seen him illuminate our television screens with his talent. All of the country is mourning Cobrizi ... "Every one of us has lost a great deal one way or another with his passing. For us in Mahikeng, he's our son. He stands out as an inspiration adored amongst us." He also took the opportunity to say that they are going to make Mahikeng "massive again". South African actor and poet Israel Matseke-Zulu, best known for his roles in "Gaz'lam", "Gomora" and "Tsotsi", offered a song followed by a poignant speech. "Thanks for the opportunity to be recognised as one of the friends of Presley Chweneyagae. We've done everything with him ... He proved that where you come from doesn't determine your destination. "You can come from the west and become the greatest. No one can replace him, but we can follow in his legacy. There is so much talent here, but it needs to be nurtured and promoted. To be in Hollywood is not to be in heaven. "Yes, we won the Oscar, but it doesn't make you a millionaire. Unfortunately, our country is not like America. Let's make the situation better. Let's recognise each other while we are still alive. Let's change rules, let's change the game," he ended.
