Denise Richards accuses estranged husband of illegally leaking her nude photos
Denise Richards claims her estranged husband Aaron Phypers has 'repeatedly' violated her temporary restraining order against him by illegally leaking nude photos of her to media outlets, as well as texts he allegedly stole from her laptop.
The actress, 54, has called on a court to ensure the return of her devices and photos by end of day Tuesday, according to a motion obtained by Us Weekly and TMZ.
'I am in extreme distress and greatly disturbed since Aaron has been repeatedly disseminating private text messages stolen from my laptop after the TRO has been issued and I have warned him numerous times not to disseminate any information from my cellphone or laptop,' Richards wrote in the filing.
The Wild Things actress said the alleged leaks not only qualify as 'abuse and a violation of the TRO,' but that 'the disseminating of nude photographs is a criminal act.'
Richards, per TMZ, is asking that her ex be 'prohibited from using, delivering, copying, printing or disclosing any text messages, emails, photos, notes or other content' from any of her electronic devices.
Phypers filed for divorce earlier this month following what he claims was a fight the couple had over Richards' alleged cheating. She was granted a temporary restraining order less than two weeks later amid accusations of longstanding abuse and death threats.
Phypers has denied those allegations, which he claims are Richards' way of distracting from her alleged infidelity. He says he has only on certain occasions 'forcefully grabbed' Richards in attempt to restrain her, including once when she was allegedly 'punching' Sami Sheen, her 21-year-old daughter with ex-husband Charlie Sheen.
Richards and the controversial Two And A Half Men star, 59, also share daughter Lola, 20. She separately adopted 14-year-old daughter Eloise. Divorce documents, which say Richards and Phypers share 'no minor children,' seem to contradict his recent confirmation that he'd adopted the teen. – New York Daily News/Tribune News Service

#SHOWBIZ: Denise Richards questioned by police after visit to estranged husband's home
CALABASAS: American actress Denise Richards was questioned by police in California on Sunday after she visited the home of her estranged husband, Aaron Phypers, despite a restraining order being in place. The visit, which reportedly escalated into a heated confrontation with Phypers' family, ended with police on the scene. According to a report by TMZ and Page Six, the former star of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills arrived at the Calabasas home where Phypers is currently staying with his parents and brother. Her stated purpose for the visit was to collect her dog. However, a source claims Richards began banging on the back door before being let in by Phypers' parents. Once inside, she allegedly screamed at them to leave the property. The situation reportedly grew more volatile, with the source claiming that Richards, 54, pointed her finger in the faces of Phypers' parents and attempted to hit his brother. She is also alleged to have thrown mail at her brother-in-law. Phypers, 52, reportedly left the property when she arrived, fearing that her presence would cause him to violate the restraining order. Photos obtained by TMZ showed Phypers' elderly mother visibly shaken and hugging her son in the driveway. Despite the confrontation, authorities concluded that no crime had been committed and no arrests were made. In a statement to People, Richards' lawyer, Brett Berman, denied any wrongdoing. Berman claimed that Richards had not violated the restraining order because she had confirmed beforehand that Phypers "was not present in her home." Berman added that Richards was there to retrieve her dogs after learning Phypers had allegedly put one of her other dogs down without her knowledge or permission. A source close to Phypers called this allegation "100 per cent, absolutely false." A representative for Richards was not immediately available for comment. The incident occurs just weeks after Richards was granted a temporary restraining order against Phypers, who filed to end their six-year marriage last month. In her filing, Richards accused Phypers of abuse, claiming he had slapped, choked, and threatened to kill her. Phypers has denied these allegations.

Orlando Bloom won't testify at Katy Perry's trial over RM63mil mansion
Last month Katy Perry ended her nine-year, on-and-off relationship with Orlando Bloom, to whom she got engaged in 2019. Photo: TNS Orlando Bloom won't be required to testify at ex-fiancee Katy Perry's upcoming trial regarding the US$15mil (RM63mil) mansion she bought from an elderly Texas millionaire, who later claimed he wasn't in the right state of mind to make such a deal. Los Angeles County Judge Joseph Lipner ruled Friday that 85-year-old Carl Westcott's efforts to put Bloom on the stand served no purpose other than to 'make it a celebrity circus,' Rolling Stone reported. Westcott had sought for the Pirates Of The Caribbean alum to testify in the case, claiming he had information that was relevant to arguments over millions of dollar of repairs that Perry said were necessary due to damage done between the years she purchased the property and when she actually took over control. Judge Lipner said it was not necessary for Bloom to be questioned about the repairs, and that Westcott should instead broach the matter with 'the construction person who actually did it.' The legal saga all started in July 2020 when Westcott tried to back out of the sale just days after signing the contract with Perry. He claimed to have been on painkillers and suffering from dementia symptoms that would make him unfit to finalise the deal. At a liability trial in 2023, the judge ultimately ruled that Westcott was perfectly competent at the time he signed the contract. Perry was finally given the keys to the property in April 2024, though she claims extensive repairs due to 'lack of maintenance' over the previous four years — as well as the loss of rental income — set her back nearly US$6mil. Perry is seeking to be reimbursed, arguing that Wescott was responsible for handing over the home in the condition it was in when she bought it. Wescott claims Perry never provided final receipts for the repairs that were done, and instead only gave estimates. The 40-year-old Grammy nominee is expected to testify during the bench trial beginning on Aug 21 to determine how much she's owed in damages. Westcott had said Bloom too should testify because he was present for the spring 2024 home inspections and allegedly said he'd be in charge of handling the repairs on Perry's behalf. The latest development comes nearly a month after Perry's representatives released a joint statement confirming that she'd ended her nine-year, on-and-off relationship with Bloom, to whom she got engaged in 2019. Actor Gary Busey, 81, pleads guilty to groping woman at horror movie convention
Gary Busey has appeared in more than 150 movies. Photo: TNS Actor Gary Busey pleaded guilty to a sex crime charge Thursday (July 31) in connection to a 2022 incident at a horror movie convention in New Jersey, United States. Busey, 81, pleaded guilty to one count of fourth-degree criminal sexual contact after admitting to intentionally touching a woman inappropriately at the Monster-Mania Convention at the Doubletree Hotel in Cherry Hill on Aug. 13, 2022. 'It was not an accidental touching,' Busey told the judge during a Zoom hearing published by CourtTV. Busey had initially been charged with two counts of criminal sexual contact, one count of attempted criminal sexual contact and one count of harassment. The actor was accused of groping at least three women during photo-ops at the convention and attempting to remove one's bra. As the result of a plea agreement, three of those charges were dropped. For the one remaining count of criminal sexual contact, Busey now faces between one and five years of probation, as well as fines. His sentencing is scheduled for Sept 18. Prior to Busey entering his guilty plea, his defense attorney had attempted to get the indictment dismissed, claiming that police failed to question certain witnesses. A jurist denied that motion, confirming that witness testimony had been gathered and properly presented to the grand jury. Busey has appeared in more than 150 movies. He was nominated for a Best Actor Oscar for The Buddy Holly Story and later starred in action movies like Lethal Weapon , Point Break and Under Siege . He went on to appear on a number of reality shows, including The Surreal Life and I'm With Busey . In 1988, he suffered a fractured skull in a near-fatal motorcycle accident that left him with permanent brain damage. – New York Daily News/Tribune News Service
