Popular Punjabi singer Gill Manuke has found himself embroiled in controversy after a heated altercation at a gym in Mohali escalated into a criminal offense. The singer was arrested along with his brother after allegedly brandishing a pistol at a gym trainer during a dispute. According to reports, the argument erupted when Gill had a disagreement with the trainer over an exercise. The situation quickly escalated when the trainer asked him to leave the premises. In response, Gill reportedly drew a pistol and began threatening the trainer. The shocking incident was captured on the gym's CCTV camera, and the footage has since gone viral on social media. Mohali DSP Harsimrat Singh Bal confirmed that both Gill and his brother were arrested on the spot. A .32 bore pistol was recovered from the singer, who claimed that the weapon is licensed. However, an investigation is currently underway. 'Brandishing a firearm is a serious legal violation," the DSP stated, adding that the matter is being pursued under the Arms Act. A formal case has been registered against Gill at the Sohana Police Station. The singer's celebrity status has brought added attention to the incident, but authorities are firm that the law applies equally to all. 'Regardless of someone's fame, legal action will be taken as per due process," the DSP added. Both Gill and his brother remain in police custody as interrogation continues. Interestingly, this isn't the first time Gill has flaunted a firearm. Just days before the incident, his team had shared a reel on Instagram in which he was seen showing off his pistol. Following the recent developments, the comment section of that video has erupted with sharp criticism. One user wrote in Punjabi, 'Ho geya parcha?
