'Mistry' OTT release date out: When and where to stream Ram Kapoor's detective drama

Kapoor's performance is expected to bring both humor and gravitas to the role, echoing the emotional and intellectual layers of the original him in a vital supporting role is Mona Singh, who plays Senior Police Officer Sehmat Siddiqui. Her character forms a key part of Mistry's journey, complementing his skills while managing the challenges of working with someone as peculiar as ensemble cast also features Kshitish Date, Shikha Talsania, and Deepak Dhar, among others, contributing to a dynamic mix of talent. The series is directed by Risab Seth and produced by Banijay Asia, in collaboration with Universal International Studios. Designed as a fusion of suspense, comedy, and emotional depth, Mistry aims to breathe new life into the detective genre for Indian audiences. The Malayalam edgy narrative made history by becoming the first Malayalam film to gross over Rs100 crore in its home state. The official X handle of JioHotstar Malayalam announced the OTT release of 'Thudarum' on Monday with a poster. "Thudarum will be streaming from 30 May only on JioHotstar," read the post. Prakash Varma, Farhaan Faasil, Maniyanpilla Raju, Binu Pappu, Irshad Ali, Aarsha Chandini Baiju, Thomas Mathew, and Krishna Prabha play supporting roles in the film that was released on April 25, 2025. It is currently the third highest-grossing Malayalam film and the fourth highest-grossing Indian film of 2025.
