PUMA reintroduces Mostro collection with influencer collabs, activation
Inspired by creativity, personal expression and identity, the campaign gives centre stage to a new wave of regional creatives in an effort to redefine what it means to be seen.
With social videos directed by Palestinian-Jordanian photographer Omar Sha3, produced by Dubai-based ECHO Agency and creatively conceptualised by M+C Saatchi Group Middle East, the launch was further supported with an in-person activation at Dubai's Mall of the Emirates.
'Drawing from underground and avant-garde culture, the campaign highlights regional creatives who break norms and redefine style on their own terms,' said Zarah Rashid, PR Manager, PUMA GCC.
'The message at its core is simple but powerful: true style comes from fearless self-expression. PUMA wanted to create the 'Mostroverse' where individuality isn't just welcomed, it's celebrated,' she said.

The campaign unfolds across the cityscape of Dubai, with abstract visuals and layered voice overs that pull the audience inside each artist's creative world, to support the Mostro drop. Inspired by underground 'street culture' and a flair for the avant-garde, the social videos feature creators such as Parvané Barret, Karrouhat, Junaynah El Guthmy, Jullz, Huda Shahin and Helena Shahin.
Rashid explained that beyond brand awareness and sales uplift, the campaign seeks to build emotional brand equity. 'The campaign aims to spark cultural relevance and boost brand awareness by aligning PUMA with the region's creative vanguard,' she said.
'There's also a longer-term goal of building community and brand loyalty by connecting deeply with creatives who are shaping the region's cultural narrative,' she added.
Bringing the concept to life beyond the screens, PUMA is hosting an activation near its store at Dubai's Mall of the Emirates from June 13 to June 26. The immersive brand experience invites consumers to step into the Mostroverse, where they can play a 10-second long game to stand a chance to win a fresh pair of Mostro shoes and other PUMA merchandise.
As the campaign rolls out across the region, Rashid tells Campaign Middle East exclusively that a soon to release collaboration with Saudi Arabia's Warcheiff is also in the works.
'Set entirely in Riyadh, from its sleek skyline to the cultural heart of the JAX District, the film is a visual mixtape that captures the daring spirit of movement and creative freedom,' Rashid shared.
In terms of results, 'early feedback from social platforms and creative communities were positive,' said Rashid. 'Many praised the campaign's authentic representation of regional talent and its refreshing break from commercial norms.'
Rashid also added an unexpected result from the Mostroverse campaign. 'Viewers were particularly drawn to the storytelling format — not just the visuals, but the voices and personal narratives,' she said.

Did Apoorva Mukhija's ex-boyfriend, Utsav Dahiya, take a dig at her?
Popular YouTuber Apoorva Mukhija, known as The Rebel Kid, is back in the headlines. At a time when India's Got Talent controversy appears to have died down, Mukhija's ex-boyfriend, Utsav Dahiya, seems to be taking a sharp dig at her. Taking to Instagram, Dahiya shared a video of him singing for the "cute little red flag", a phrase Apoorva often uses in her videos. Mentioning that the relationship lasted twenty weeks, Dahiya asked his former partner to stop targeting him. "I asked why you called me disgusting in front of the world, you said, 'This is all business for me,'" Dahiya sang at one point. Dahiya captioned his post, "Never try to gain sympathy by fabricating lies or pushing false narratives just to make content and assassinate someone's character online. Having a big following doesn't give you the right to bully your way by rage-baiting your audience and unleashing them on others." The video instantly became a topic of discussion for many, as social media users joined in to connect the dots. One wrote, "Life really said plot twist. Now she's the Taylor Swift fan, but he's the one dropping breakup tracks." Dahiya, however, refrained from mentioning her name in his post. The YouTuber, who reportedly broke up with Dahiya in January last year, is yet to comment. Apoorva was recently seen in the first season of The Traitors.

Dubai's Aayan conquers St. Andrews, punches ticket to Curry Cup finale in NY
For Dubai golfing prodigy Aayan Dadabhoy, the road to the Curry Cup began on the windswept fairways of St. Andrews, where he held his nerve to claim victory in the Underrated Tour event and secure a coveted spot in Steph Curry's Junior Golf Tour finale. At just 17 years old, Aayan has already made his mark in the junior golf scene, but it was his performance at the Kittocks Course at Fairmont St Andrews in Scotland that truly announced his arrival on the global stage. Posting rounds of 73 and a final-round 67, he finished four under par, winning by three strokes and cementing his reputation as one of the UAE's brightest golfing talents. Representing the Tommy Fleetwood Academy Dubai, based at Jumeirah Golf Estates, Aayan's rise reflects both his dedication and the strength of junior golf development in the UAE. Recalling the final moments of his St. Andrews triumph, Aayan said: 'I birdied the 10th and 11th, and I knew someone in my group was just a shot behind me. I stayed in the present, stuck to my game plan, and made two big up-and-downs on 14 and 15. By the time I birdied 17, with friends from the Muslim Golf Association cheering me on, I felt confident I could finish strong.' That strong finish not only secured victory at the Home of Golf but also earned him a trip to New York for the Curry Cup finale, held from September 10–12 at the iconic Liberty National Golf Club in Jersey City, New Jersey. The Curry Cup is the season-ending championship of the Underrated Golf Tour, founded by NBA star Stephen Curry to promote diversity and inclusion in junior golf. It brings together 24 of the world's top junior players to compete for the ultimate prize. 'Being part of this event is a huge privilege,' Aayan told Khaleej Times from Scotland. 'It's an amazing experience for my playing career, and it'll help me as I look for the right university in my final year of school. I couldn't have done it without the Underrated Tour, Steph Curry, and everyone who's made this possible.' For Aayan, the Curry Cup represents more than just a tournament, it's a chance to test himself against the best junior golfers globally. 'Competition is healthy when you're trying to grow your game,' he said. 'I know I've got what it takes to win, but it'll be a tough challenge. Playing against these players makes you work harder, and it's all about preparation.' That preparation has already taken him across continents. Earlier this summer, he competed in the U.S., finishing fifth at the FCG Callaway Collegiate in California, 15th at the Junior Worlds, and representing his country at Pinehurst for the U.S. Kids Team Championship. 'Playing in America is very different from Scotland,' he said. 'But experiences like those build the focus you need for tournaments like this.' Looking beyond New York, Aayan has his sights set on even bigger stages. 'No matter how I play at Liberty National, I'm grateful for the experience. After this, I'd love to chase an invite to the Challenge Tour or one of the UAE's professional events. That would be one of my top goals for the year.' For now, his focus is squarely on New York and the chance to bring the Curry Cup back to Dubai.
