Beyoncé is bringing her Cowboy Carter tour to Washington starting Friday — but even if you don't attend IRL, there are plenty of ways to hang with the BeyHive this weekend.
Why it matters: It's a long weekend — pack in as much Bey as possible.
Here are some Beyoncé-inspired events to check out:
🎤 BeyHive Karaoke: Head to Ivy City Smokehouse on Thursday for live karaoke accompanied by some of the musicians who've been touring with Queen B herself. (9pm-2am; $36)
🍽️ Beyoncé Brunch: Her Diner in Adams Morgan will host a Bey-themed brunch on Friday with booze and tunes. (11am-4pm)
🪩 Night of 1,000 Beyoncés: U Street's Bunker will blast ballads spanning Beyoncé's career on Friday, interspersed with drag performances. (10pm-4am; free before 11pm; tickets $6-$10)
🧘 Cowboy Carter Yogalates: The Eaton will host a combo yoga-pilates session Saturday inspired by the Beyoncé album. (10:30-11:45am; $28)
🕺 Les Twins Pop-Up Workshop: The French hip-hop dance duo that often tours with Queen B will teach you all their moves during this Saturday workshop at the Edgewood Arts Center. (6-9pm; $50-$60)
🤠 Hive Hoedown: Swing by the Howard Theatre on Sunday for live music, Beyoncé bingo, line dancing, DJs and a contest to see who's rocking the best 'fit. (4-8pm; $33-$55)
If you do go: There are still tickets available to both shows on Friday and Monday.

Where to Find Eater's 'Off Menu' Dish Drops and Restaurant Collabs

In case you hadn't heard, Eater turns 20 this year. And since it wouldn't be a party without some great food, we're kicking off our Eater Off Menu celebration with a series of limited-edition, ultra-exclusive dish drops at some of our favorite food businesses nationwide. To commemorate the occasion, we've teamed up with a dozen restaurants, bakeries, pizzerias, taco shops, ice cream parlors, and more across New York and Los Angeles to create exclusive dish collabs inspired by Eater and its coverage of food over the last 20 years. Each one-of-a-kind creation will be offered for no more than one week, rolling out throughout the summer and early fall. It all kicks off July 29, when Brown Bag Sandwich Co. debuts an 'Off Menu' lobster roll inspired by Eater's iconic red color. Then, we'll follow it up with other new, never-before-seen specials at different restaurants across Los Angeles and New York rolling out through September. Think: Eater-inspired disco fries at New York's Hamburger America (smothered with gravy and cheese), a 'number 38' combo special from LA's iconic Langer's Delicatessen (a mini version of the pastrami fries with the legendary No. 19 sandwich), a specialty Eater gummy blend from BonBon NYC, a Mr. Softee takeover, and so much more. The current lineup of can't miss dishes is below, with more restaurants and dates to be announced in the coming weeks. And keep an eye on Eater's newsletters and socials to be the first to know when each unique collab drops. It's all part of Eater Turns 20, a three-month long tribute to the trends, the chefs, and the restaurants that defined the last two decades of American dining, experienced through a massive and exciting slate of stories, videos, and events. Beyoncé and Jay-Z just took out a massive mortgage on their $88M Los Angeles mansion

Even the most powerful couple in music has a mortgage — or two. Beyoncé and Jay-Z took out a $57.75 million mortgage on their Bel Air mansion in Los Angeles, the Daily Mail reported. The superstar pair boasts a combined estimated net worth of $3 billion and an impressive real estate portfolio on both coasts, but their massive home in the Bel Air hills remains a family base. AFP via Getty Images The new 30-year loan from Morgan Stanley's Private Banking Division was taken out in April, according to the Daily Mail. It comes with a 5% interest rate for the first 10 years. Refinancing isn't foreign to this power couple. The pair borrowed $52.8 million to buy the $88 million home in 2017. Jay-Z and Bey refinanced for the same amount in 2021, the outlet reported. The Bel Air home racks up an annual property tax bill of more than $1.2 million. Combined with monthly mortgage payments, the pair's estimated monthly spending on the dwelling totals more than $637,000 a month. That monthly till — more than $200,000 the median American home price — doesn't even factor in utilities, maintenance or staff pay. Mortgages don't always mean money trouble, however. The musical duo's continued success — Beyoncé recently surpassed $400 million on her 32-date Cowboy Carter tour — is certainly not in question. The bold real-estate move may simply give the couple extra cash for other investments that will help offset high interest rates. 6 The couple's impressive real estate portfolio stretches from Los Angeles to the Hamptons — all properties where they can raise their kids. William Farrington When it comes to real estate, Beyoncé and Jay-Z are nothing if not bold. The parents of three famously shelled out $200 million in cash on a mammoth Malibu home in 2023. The deal broke California's state record for the most expensive home. The controversial concrete property was designed by Tadao Ando, the same Pritzker Prize-winning architect that designed Kanye West's former beachfront Malibu home. Beyond California, Beyoncé and Jay-Z count a $6.85 million Tribeca penthouse and a $26 million East Hampton estate among their multiple holdings.
