Family lawyer Hamid Ismail said the scene outside the Queen Elizabeth Hospital's Forensic Department drew an unusually large crowd, including 'citizen journalists' mingling with reporters covering the case.
Advertisement He said Zara's mother was resting and urged the public to show support by refraining from posting speculative content online. Well-wishers distributed bottled water to those gathered, many of whom had learned of the case through social media. Rows of cars were seen parked along roadside dividers on the route to Damai, causing congestion similar to a weekday rush hour. * Follow us on our official WhatsApp channel and Telegram for breaking news alerts and key updates! * Do you have access to the Daily Express e-paper and online exclusive news?
