Moses Chan praised for being humble after seen queuing alone outside busy eatery
Hong Kong actor Moses Chan may be TVB's highest-paid artiste, reportedly earning HK$30mil (RM16.2mil) annually, but he continues to impress fans with his humility.
The 54-year-old is currently winning praise online after a netizen spotted him queuing on his own outside a bustling restaurant in Sham Shui Po, Hong Kong.
In a photo shared on Xiaohongshu (Red Note), Chan is seen in a simple yet polished outfit – a beige short-sleeve shirt and matching shorts, paired with socks and sandals.
'He always knows how to dress well. He's the best-dressed TVB male artiste,' the caption read.
Netizens were quick to applaud Chan for choosing to queue on his own like everyone else instead of using his celebrity status to make a reservation.
Others also pointed out that even in casual wear and a face mask, the actor still stood out among the crowd.
'He chose to queue instead of making a reservation,' said one fan.
Another commented: 'Celebrities and ordinary people are just humans at the end of the day.'
'He really gets more attractive and trendy with age,' added a third.
Since joining the entertainment industry in 1994, Chan has amassed multiple accolades – including two Best Actor titles at the TVB Anniversary Awards for his roles in Heart Of Greed (200&) and Narcotics Heroes (2023).
He's married to Hong Kong-based Canadian actress Aimee Chan, with whom he shares three children – Aiden, 11, Nathan, 10, and Camilla, nine.

New Lizzo song pokes at Sydney Sweeney's American Eagle jeans mess
Lizzo (left) hinted last week at being inspired by the scandal, when she previewed the new track as she sported an all-denim get-up, channeling Sydney Sweeney. Photos: TNS, American Eagle/Instagram Sydney Sweeney might be all buttoned up regarding her controversial American Eagle jeans/genes ad campaign, but Lizzo isn't ready to let the scandal die down just yet. For the rare few who missed the Internet's ire over the Euphoria star's jeans ads that launched late last month, many took the 'Sydney Sweeney Has Great Jeans' slogan as a nod to Nazi-era eugenics. Grammy winner Lizzo, 37, shared a clip from the I'm Goin' In Till October music video on Wednesday, less than a week after American Eagle broke their silence on the denim mess. 'No kizzy, he ain't got no business being with me/ Fat a– pretty face with the t—s,' sings the Juice pop star, real name Melissa Viviane Jefferson. 'B—, I got good jeans like I'm Sydney.' Though some might assume the winking lyric should be spelled 'genes,' Lizzo hinted last week at being inspired by the scandal, when she previewed the new track as she sported an all-denim get-up, channeling 27-year-old Sweeney. The video, captioned 'Lizzo's got Good Jeans,' began with a pundit slamming the 'woke agenda' and the response to the Emmy nominee. It was a since-deleted commercial that courted controversy as the Anyone But You star tells consumers, genes, or jeans, are 'passed down from parents to offspring, determining traits like hair colour, personality and even eye colour.' The blue-eyed, blonde bombshell — whose own look the Internet quickly equated to the Aryan aesthetic favoured by Adolf Hitler — then proclaims that her 'jeans are blue.' American Eagle insisted the campaign 'is and always was about the jeans' and that the retailer would 'continue to celebrate how everyone wears their AE jeans with confidence, their way. Great jeans look good on everyone.' Lizzo's tongue-in-cheek move comes two years after her own reputation took a hit in August 2023, when her former dancers filed a lawsuit accusing the body positive songstress of racial and sexual harassment and weight-shaming. A September 2023 lawsuit filed by Lizzo's former wardrobe assistant was dropped in December 2024. – New York Daily News/Tribune News Service

The news came during Swift's appearance on the New Heights podcast, hosted by her NFL (National Football League) star boyfriend, Travis Kelce and his brother Jason, who formerly played for the Philadelphia Eagles. Unveiling a copy of the new record, the singer said: "This is my new album, 'The Life Of A Showgirl'. It's something I was working on while I was in Europe on the Eras tour." bootstrap slideshow Kelce said the fact that Swift recorded the album while simultaneously travelling the world for her sold-out tour was "still blowing my mind". In an Instagram post, the 35-year-old revealed the album's artwork and 12-track listing – with Sabrina Carpenter featuring on the title song and only collaboration. The "Life Of A Showgirl" is Swift's first album since regaining control over her back catalogue and purchasing the rights to all of her concert films, music videos, album art and photography, as well as her unreleased songs. HK Actor Nick Cheung Seen Arguing Over A Taxi? Here's The Truth Behind Viral Video
While celebrities try to maintain a clean image, there have been instances of them getting caught in the act for unruly behaviour. Recently, Hong Kong actor Nick Cheung (張家輝) was spotted arguing with a man over a taxi in Hong Kong – but is there more to the story? Earlier this week, a video surfaced on social media, depicting the actor on the streets of Hong Kong. As he was about to hop into a taxi, a man in a grey shirt reached out to the door handle, seemingly trying to 'steal' the ride. However, Nick quickly grabbed the man's hand and the two began a brief argument on the street while several passersby looked on. After dodging an attack from the man, the actor then got in the taxi and left the scene. There is no mention of when the video was taken or who shared it. Additionally, since the video was filmed from a distance, viewers couldn't make out the conversation between the two men. Nevertheless, the video quickly went viral, with many netizens discussing what happened. Interestingly, some also noted that the way Nick dodged the man's attack made the video look like a movie scene. Soon after the video made headlines, a Threads user by the handle @/choi_san_keung shared a post on the platform to explain the situation. The post wrote, 'Actually, this happened a while ago. Please don't give me any more scorn. I usually have nightmares, not temper tantrums. Please don't make reckless assumptions. I'm sorry (for this).' While the post may seem random to the masses, the context lies with the user. For those unaware, @/choi_san_keung is actually Nick Cheung, who started the Threads account to promote his 2025 movie, 'Peg O' My Heart (贖夢)'. In fact, the video was shot during the filming. In the comment section of the Threads post, many fans welcomed the 'return' of Choi San Keung (蔡辛強), quipping that they missed his random postings. Some also wondered if the clip going viral was a hint that Nick might reprise his role in a future project. While it was confusing at first, it's good to know that Nick didn't get into an actual fight with a stranger. Check out the video below: Sources: Instagram, Threads
