Gulf Today, Staff Reporter In implementation of the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, to support efforts to extinguish forest fires in the Republic of Albania, several specialized teams from the UAE have arrived in the Albanian capital, Tirana, to participate in urgent response operations to extinguish the fires raging in several areas there. The UAE will contribute with the necessary aircraft, equipment, and firefighting materials. These tasks will be carried out in coordination between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Defense, and the Ministry of Interior, represented by the Abu Dhabi Civil Defense Authority. The directives of His Highness the President of the UAE, may God protect him, reflect the solidarity of the UAE, its leadership and people, with the government and people of Albania in confronting the unprecedented fire disaster currently affecting their country.

Abdullah bin Zayed sends condolences over Ghana helicopter crash
His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, offered his condolences over the victims of the recent military helicopter crash during a phone call with the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Ghana Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa. Sheikh Abdullah expressed sympathy for the deaths of the Minister of Defence and Minister of Environment, Science and Technology, along with other senior officials who were killed in a military helicopter crash in the Ashanti Region. Authorities have not confirmed the cause of the crash, with three officials and three airforce crew members found dead in the Z9 airforce helicopter along with the ministers.
