John McEnroe names the four players that can win Wimbledon
Local favourite Draper breezed into the second round of Wimbledon after his first-round opponent Sebastian Baez retired in the third set.
Draper was in complete control when Baez pulled out through injury, having dropped just four games in the opening two sets.
The world number four has enjoyed an impressive rise over the past 12 months, reaching the semi-finals of the 2024 US Open and the fourth round of the previous Australian and US Opens.
Draper was tipped to make an impact at SW19 as the fourth seed but confidence in the Brit shrunk after he was handed an unenviable draw.
The 23-year-old faces former US Open champion Marin Cilic in the second round and could meet seven-time winner Novak Djokovic in the quarter-finals.
If successful, Draper is due to face world number one Jannik Sinner in the semi-finals and two-time defending champion Carlos Alcaraz in the final.
Despite that nightmare draw, McEnroe believes Draper is capable of becoming the first Brit since Sir Andy Murray to win Wimbledon.
But the American tennis icon views Draper as the 'fourth favourite' for the title behind Alcaraz, Sinner and Djokovic.
Alcaraz and Sinner have dominated men's tennis over the past 12 months, sharing the past six Grand Slam titles.
The Spaniard is bidding to win a third successive title at the All England Club while Sinner has his sights set on a maiden Wimbledon trophy to add to his wins at the Australian and US Opens.
Carlos Alcaraz Pedigree – a two-time defending champion, Carlitos is making Wimbledon his own
Variety – no one on tour has as many weapons or tools to win matches
Jannik Sinner's number – on a five-match win streak against his biggest rival
Jannik Sinner World's best – Sinner has dominated the rankings, even with three months off for a doping ban
Uber-consistent – he rarely loses (Alcaraz aside) so don't expect a shock early exit
Effortless power – the world's best ball striker, sinner can blow anyone off the court
Novak Djokovic Carlo Alcaraz threat – he has a winning head-to-head against the favourite and has beaten him in their last two meetings
Experience – no one in the sport has been there and done it more times than Novak
History – Djokovic is still motivated and has a record 25th slam in his sights

Djokovic cannot be discounted either as the 38-year-old looks to win at Wimbledon for the eighth time and clinch a record-breaking 25th Grand Slam singles title.
As Draper dismantled Baez in his opening Wimbledon clash, McEnroe said on BBC One: 'Jack Draper is the fourth favourite to win this tournament.
'He could win a major for the first time in his life, this is about dealing with the nerves. That's pressure but it's also a pretty cool feeling.
'I wouldn't pick Draper as my No. 1 [to win Wimbledon]. I would pick the obvious pick as No. 1 but it's difficult to win three in a row.
'In terms of the favourite, it's a toss-up between Alcaraz and Sinner. Jack might have to beat both of those guys and Novak and that's the really hard part.
'Obviously he might not have to – there's already been a few upsets – but it wasn't a nice draw. More Trending
'If he plays Novak, Novak has the edge over him because he's done it. But Jack Draper is right there, he's the next guy and crazy things can happen.
'Andy [Murray] knows what this is like because he had two or three of them ahead of him throughout his career.'
One player Draper will not have to play as he dreams of winning Wimbledon is third seed Alexander Zverev, who suffered a surprise first-round defeat to Arthur Rinderknech.
Daniil Medvedev, Stefanos Tsitsipas and Alexander Bublik are among the other high-profile departures from the men's draw.

Thelin backs Yengi & calls for patience in 'difficult' transfer window
Aberdeen manager Jimmy Thelin believes striker Kusini Yengi "will grow" after a frustrating 26-year-old Australian, who arrived from Portsmouth earlier in the summer, spurned a couple of golden chances during Aberdeen's season-opening 2-0 defeat at Hearts on Monday has subsequently come in for criticism, but Thelin said: "I think he will grow, he was there in the situations, that is the first [thing], you have to arrive at the chances and then during the time he is getting sharper."But I think it is difficult to say like we missed chances, also we got two goals against us, and we have to start there to be better and the way we defend and how we protect our own goal."Yengi is one of seven summer signings to arrive at Pittodrie so far, with the club working to bring in more new faces as they face up to both domestic and continental commitments this before Sunday's Premiership visit of Celtic, Thelin was asked if he is frustrated at how long his rebuild is taking."No," he responded."Everybody is so aligned with what we want to do. It has to be the right player, not just a player, and we know what we are trying to do. We have to find the profile and how we build the squad."If you work in this business, it is not frustration. You know it is a difficult market, everybody is trying to do the best we can do and we are trying to nail the things we want to happen. Sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn't, then you move on and you always have an optimistic mindset and try to do the best you can do."I think in the window, you can't control exactly what happens, but we have a lot of people who are working hard to always try to improve the squad."It will be some time before the Red Army get the chance to see another one of their summer signings, Emmanuel Gyamfi, 21-year-old German left-back joined on a four-year deal from Schalke in June, but a leg injury is set to keep him out until the middle of next month."Now we have to support the player to come back," said Thelin.

But just hours before she was due on court in Montreal, the Canadian wonderkid was in hospital with a wrist injury she picked up after falling in her semi-final victory over ex-Wimbledon champ Elena Rybakina. Mboko admitted the pain "aggravated" her during the final, but she was too "motivated" for it to stop her in the biggest match of her career. After getting her hands on the trophy, she revealed: "I woke up this morning and I actually had my wrist a little bit swollen from yesterday's fall. I wouldn't say I didn't feel it at all. "There's obviously some moments where it was aggravating me a lot, but I feel like it was the final. "I just kept saying to myself: 'You have one more to go.' "I had, of course, the extra motivation from the crowd as well to keep pushing. I tried to block it out of my head as much as possible.' ‘I didn't feel any nerves': Josh Rock produces blistering performance in World Series debut
The 24-year-old, who has had a sensational year so far by reaching the Semi-Finals of both the UK Open and World Matchplay, continued that form with a blistering display in Wollongong, seeing off home favourite Whitlock 6-1. Rock recorded the second-best average of the day, pummelling in four 180s on his way to a 108.16 average and a 75 per cent checkout rate, including a 127 finish that saw him comfortably over the line and sets up a Quarter-Final meeting with top seed Stephen Bunting on Saturday. 'I didn't actually feel any nerves tonight,' admitted Rock, who has reached a career-high of 11th in the world. 'I really enjoyed my first experience of playing in Australia and I'm very happy with that performance.' Rock's average was bettered only by Australia's own Damon Heta, the only seeded local player, who finished with a 109.98 rate and crashed in four ton-plus checkouts to whitewash James Bailey, while Luke Littler survived a last-leg decider to overcome New Zealand number one Haupai Puha. World No.1 Luke Humphries had to come from behind to defeat another New Zealander in Jonny Tata by a 6-3 scoreline, with reigning champion Gerwyn Price opening by winning by the same score against DPA number one Joe Comito. Bunting was another of the seeded players – all of whom triumphed in Wollongong – to eclipse a ton average as he swept aside Brody Klinge 6-1, although the debuting Australian took the headlines with a stunning 161 checkout to clinch his first World Series leg. Rock's fellow World Series debutant Mike de Decker averaged 60 per cent on the outer ring to down Brandon Weening, the World Grand Prix champion securing a 6-3 victory, while Chris Dobey had to recover from 4-2 down by winning four straight legs to avoid a scare against Tim Pusey.
