It's kind of a cruel irony that April Fool's Day fell on the same day where we saw a lot of movement on the Michigan State basketball front. On the same day where Tre Holloman and Gehrig Normand entered the transfer portal, Michigan State freshman and star wide receiver Nick Marsh almost got another MSU freshman phenom, Jase Richardson, with an April Fool's Day prank on Instagram.
Marsh took to Instagram and made a post that was designed to look like a transfer announcement, only to announce at the end:
I WILL FOREVER BE A SPARTAN DAWG.
Jase Richardson hilariously almost fell for the prank, saying 'Ay man you had me scared for a minute.' On a day where I myself had to question a few times if the Tre Holloman news was real or if it was also a prank, this joke hit pretty hard.

Former Clemson standout Tristan Bissetta announces commitment to SEC school Everything LSU football coach Brian Kelly said this week about facing Clemson in opener — Clemson Wire (@Clemson_Wire) June 14, 2025 One-time Clemson starting outfielder Tristan Bissetta has found his next stop. The veteran left-handed hitter announced Saturday that he's transferring to Ole Miss for his final year of eligibility, saying he's 'super blessed for this opportunity' and 'ready to get to work.' Bissetta spent the past three seasons at Clemson, where he developed into a key bat in the Tigers' lineup. The former JL Mann High School standout broke out in 2024, batting .298 with seven home runs and 34 RBIs. However, his senior campaign was cut short due to injury, and he finished the season hitting .227 over 75 at-bats with three homers and 16 RBIs in 31 games. He owns a career .286 average with a .487 slugging percentage. After entering the portal, Bissetta shared a heartfelt message to Clemson. 'These past four years mark the most impactful time in my life,' he wrote. J.K. Dobbins posts Photoshop in Broncos uniform: 'We're going to do great things'
J.K. Dobbins posts Photoshop in Broncos uniform: 'We're going to do great things' Just hours after officially signing a one-year contract with the Denver Broncos on Wednesday, new running back J.K. Dobbins was out on the practice field for his first session with his new club. 'It felt amazing," Dobbins said after Wednesday's practice. "It's a true blessing to me. I'm so happy to be here. We're going to do great things this year.' Dobbins, 26, received an unrestricted free agent tender from the Los Angeles Chargers in April, but he was still allowed to negotiate with other clubs leading up to training camp. After visiting the Broncos' facility last week, he returned to Denver this week to finalize a deal. 'I'm a pretty patient person, and I was just feeling it out," Dobbins said. "[I was] letting everything play out how it's supposed to be. It was a little stressful with some things that happened in there, but I knew I was going to get to where I needed to be. I am where I need to be.' After his first two days with the club, Dobbins shared a preview of what he'll look like in a Broncos uniform on his Instagram page. 'I felt like it was the best fit for me," Dobbins said when asked why he signed with Denver. "The defense is really good — like super good. The quarterback is amazing. I like the [running back] room. [The offensive] line is amazing as well. It was a no-brainer — and Coach Sean Payton and all the other coaches on staff, too. I know I'll get coached well here. I also heard that it's a good fan base. That's why I'm here.' After totaling 1,058 yards from scrimmage and scoring nine touchdowns in 13 games with the Los Angeles Chargers last year, Dobbins is now set to face his old team twice in 2025 (view the Broncos' full schedule). Lauren Alaina welcomes baby girl and releases emotional new song
Beni Doll Arnold was born on June 11, 2025. 3:28 Country singer Lauren Alaina has a new reason to sing and celebrate. The artist announced the birth of her first child, a daughter named Beni Doll Arnold, born on June 11, 2025. Alaina shared the news in an Instagram post on Friday, writing: "Beni Doll Arnold 6.11.25. 7 lbs 13 oz. 19 inches long." Alongside the birth announcement, she offered a heartfelt caption about the life-changing moment she first held her baby girl: "Parts of my heart that I didn't even know existed were unlocked at 8:44 am when they laid you on my belly for the first time. I will never be the same." Alaina and her husband, Cam Arnold, whom she married earlier this year, are overjoyed by the arrival of their daughter. "We are honored God chose us to be your parents," she added. "You, to your dad and me, are absolute perfection." In a special tribute to her newborn and late father, the singer also surprised fans by releasing a brand-new song titled "Heaven Sent." Alaina explained the song was inspired by the emotional journey of learning she was pregnant shortly after the loss of her dad. "I wasn't sure when I would share 'Heaven Sent,' but watching my own husband become a father the last couple of days has made me want to share it with you now," she wrote. Beni's birth just days before Father's Day adds deeper meaning to the release. "It's my first without my own father. A day that will forever be hard to me, but I now have a new and perfect reason to celebrate it. Beni's daddy. My sweet and steady husband."
