Speaking about Apurva's reaction to Badass Begum, Divya shared, "He's genuinely overjoyed — he absolutely loves it. His wife being an actor makes him even more connected to the experience. One thing that really stood out to him was seeing my name, Divya, appear first in the credits.
It's usually the male actor who gets listed first, but here, my name leading the credits made him proud. He sees me as the main hero, the main villain — basically, the heart of it all.

Divya further shared how her family pushes her to do her best in her career and be fearless. She said, "Yes, Apurva is the wind beneath my wings. I'd say that quite beautifully. After marriage, if I've grown more wings, it's because of my husband and my in-laws.

In the same interview, Divya spoke about her motherhood choices and revealed that she would love to adopt a child, "Many women dream of becoming mothers, and I respect that deeply. But personally, I don't think I'm ready for the level of sacrifice that our mothers made.
I admire them for it. At the same time, I strongly believe that choosing not to become a mother doesn't make someone any less of a woman. My nurturing side is very much alive and I express it with my family, my team.
I have no issues giving love to kids who don't have anyone else. If the time comes and I feel it in my heart, I'd be more than happy to share that love with someone who truly needs it by adopting a kid."
