The £15 secret to Christine Lampard's ethereal glow that lasts for 16 HOURS and makes skin look flawless in one swipe

The Sun29-04-2025

DAYTIME telly icon Christine Lampard's skin has an unwavering glow-from-within.
And now, it has been revealed exactly how the 46-year-old maintains that luminosity despite her busy schedule.
From her gigs on Loose Women and Lorraine to being a regular stand-in on This Morning, Christine's complexion always remains flawless.
How does she do it? With a £15 product that lasts on the skin for a staggering 16 hours.
Christine's make-up artist on Lorraine, Helen Hand, uses the little-known ONE/SIZE On 'Til Dawn Mattifying Waterproof Setting Spray.
Prices for the spritz start at £15 for the smaller size or £30 if you're keen to go all out with the big bottle.
And if the reviews are anything to go by, all it takes is a single spritz across the face to secure your make-up for the day.
Not only that, but the product is actually designed to create that glow-from-within look that mum-of-two Christine always has.
It contains green tea extract to tighten the pores, as well as witch hazel to absorb oil for a blurred, matte finish.
Goodbye lacklustre and textured skin, hello Lampard luminosity.
One review on the setting spray reads: "This is THE best setting spray there is.
"I'm a certified product junkie and have tried every setting spray, from drug store brands to top cosmetic brands, and this is a game changer!
"It keeps a matte look without dulling any shine product underneath.
"A smell that's a bit less harsh would be lovely, but that won't stop me from stocking up on this like it's holy water."
While you may expect celebs like Christine to splash out on high-end products, you might be surprised to know that most of her beauty heroes are from Boots or Superdrug.
The mum-of-two also loves the No7 HydraLuminous fixing mist, which is exclusive to Boots.
She previously told Fabulous: 'This is a recent edition to my bag that I carry everywhere now - the hydrating, fixing mask.
'So basically during the day when you feel exhausted and you think you need to liven up, I spritz myself with that.'
When it comes to her favourite budget buy, she simply said: 'Definitely Vaseline.'
She also told Fabulous the skincare hero that she couldn't live without is the Clé de Peau Beauté Clarifying Cleansing Foam, saying: 'It's about £50, but it lasts me ages and I use it daily.'
As well as this, she uses the Elemis Pro-Collagen cleansing balm, which she hailed a 'holy grail' in her daily routine.

Wynne Evans says Strictly controversy took him into ‘darkest spot' of his life

The Welsh tenor, 53, known for the GoCompare insurance advertisements, competed in the recent series of the BBC dancing programme alongside professional Katya Jones. Evans recently announced that he had been dropped by the BBC and will no longer present on BBC Radio Wales following an apology saying that he used 'inappropriate language' during the launch of the Strictly Come Dancing tour. The apology came after the Mail On Sunday reported in January that he aimed a sexual joke at one of the other professional dancers, Janette Manrara. Speaking on ITV's This Morning, he claimed the story was taken out of context and that he was talking to fellow contestant, EastEnders star Jamie Borthwick, who he gave the nickname 'old spit roast boy' to. He said: 'I used to call him this because he could contort his legs over his head. 'I didn't know there was a reporter still there, recording, apparently, on their phone. 'Even though I'm looking at Jamie, they claim that I'm directing this word at Janette. And it's totally been taken out of context. 'When I saw the narrative in the newspaper, I was just shocked and horrified.' He added that the nickname was 'unsuitable' and 'inappropriate' and claims that he was misrepresented. This comes after Borthwick was suspended from the BBC when a video emerged of the actor using a disabled slur on the set of the dance programme. Evans added that he never approved of the statement that was issued by the BBC in January where he apologised for making an 'inappropriate and unacceptable' comment. He said: 'They didn't run it by me. They sent it off to the newspaper. They printed that as my apology. And, of course, then it looks like I validated the story.' A BBC spokesperson said: 'The apology issued on Wynne's behalf by the Strictly Come Dancing Tour PR representative on Saturday January 25 was fully approved by Wynne.' While recounting the controversy, he got visibly emotional and said that he wanted to end his life. He said: 'I've had clinical depression since 2016, diagnosed. It took me into the darkest spot of my life. 'I was at my lowest ebb. I wanted to end my life. I would have if I hadn't been surrounded by people. 'At one point one of the newspapers was so relentless, I remember saying to my girlfriend, I have to kill myself, I have to, because this is what they want.' He added that he was under the crisis team for a month with his family, friends and girlfriend on a rota to be with him 24 hours a day. Overnight, Evans has also shared in an Instagram post that he is engaged to his girlfriend Liz Brookes, saying that he is feeling 'very lucky' after proposing in Morocco.

'I'm really intrigued about what I've heard, and it's the new career move. Something to do with a sex therapist?' Grace asked. Joanna opened up about her passion for speaking with people about their relationship woes. She said: 'I've always wanted to become a sex therapist, I've always wanted to train as a relationship counsellor because I'm interested in chatting to people and their relationships and listening to their problems and what's happened and how I can talk to them about it. The Gavin & Stacey star, 48, appeared on Wednesday's instalment of the ITV show and sat down with Christine Lampard , 46, Grace Keeling, 25, Janet Street-Porter , 78 and Jane Moore , 63 'I imagine though that you guys are going to ruin this next career move of mine,' the actress added, laughing. Joanna admitted that she'd 'love' to go into the field and revealed she had already been putting her skills to use. 'I'd love to do that, I've been in the house and I've had like delivery drivers coming round and they've dropped off a delivery and then James has gone 'Oh my gosh it's 20 minutes later, where is she?' and I've been in the back of a van talking to a driver,' she explained. Joanna added: 'And he's been like 'Well I don't know what to do in my relationship with my girlfriend, what do you think?' 'And James caught me in the back and was like 'Are you alright?'. I said 'Yeah I'll be out in a minute I'm just talking to him, and I was talking to him about his relationship with his girlfriend.' Last year, Joanna revealed she found filming the final day of Gavin and Stacey Christmas special 'traumatic' as she opened up about the 'emotional' last day on set. The last ever instalment aired in a 90-minute special on Christmas Day 2024 after fans of the show begged for an end to the story. T he Welsh actress, who portrays Stacey Shipman in the BAFTA-winning TV series, revealed filming the last-ever episode left her 'hysterically crying and laughing'. Joanna said: 'Being on set for the last time with everybody for the last day was traumatic. I knew I was going to cry as soon as I walked on set. 'I saw Steve's face, our first AD, and I just burst out crying. Then I saw Sophie Hebron, our second AD, and I burst out crying again. So then I went into my trailer and Julia Davis came in and sat with me, and I couldn't stop crying, because it just felt it was such a huge journey that was ending. 'So I found it very emotional but then in between that, hysterically funny, because the last scene we filmed was a funny one, so I just alternated between hysterically crying and hysterically laughing.' Recalling the final moments on set, she continued: 'Right at the very end, on our last bit of filming, I just got this sense of calm wash over me. 'I remember standing there and looking around at everybody and everybody's faces, and I just remember smiling quite calmly to myself and thinking 'wow, look where we've all come, look where we all are now'. 'I delivered my last lines, the way that I wanted to, and the way that I needed to, and then when they shouted, 'it's a wrap' and then they clapped all of us goodbye and I just hugged Mat, and we both stood there crying.' Loose Women airs weekdays from 12:30pm on ITV1 and is available to stream on ITVX.
