Inside Honey Singh's vanity van: Singer admits Netflix paid him a ‘fat' amount for documentary on his life, jokes ‘If you pay me more, I will tell you more'
In an interview with Curly Tales, he explained how the documentary was made, and showed off his decadent vanity van. When the 'Brown Rang' singer was asked about his documentary, he said, 'These Netflix guys came to me and said that they want to shoot a documentary on my life and they paid me fat so I said, 'Okay. No problem. If you pay me more, I will tell you more.''
The singer went on to talk about his live concerts and how he loves the Delhi audience over any other audience in the world. He also shared that since he was born and raised in Karampura, Delhi, he has a special connect with the city. He said, 'Delhi crowd is crazy. Mumbai is also good. All are good but Delhi is special because I am from Delhi and they know me, like it's our neighbour, our brother on stage. They have seen my journey.'
Despite his iconic collaborations with Bollywood stars, the singer, during a rapid-fire round, chose independent singers over Bollywood collaborations. He explained, 'That made me what I am today. Bollywood happened to me as a compliment in my life. I want to thank the big legends who came into my life and gave me opportunity like Salman bhai, Shah Rukh bhai, Amitabh Bachchan, Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar and all these legends. They made me big as well but Independent music made my identity.'
Honey Singh has belted out various popular hit tracks for Hindi films, including 'Lungi Dance', which featured him, Shah Rukh Khan, and Deepika Padukone in the film Chennai Express. His original songs that featured in Hindi films include 'Desi Kalakaar', 'Blue Eyes', 'High Heels Te Nachche', 'Party All Night', and others.

Shah Rukh Khan introduces ‘hardworking, good boy' Aryan as he apologises in anticipation: ‘Please forgive me, this is my first time'
Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan introduced his son Aryan Khan to the world as a filmmaker on Wednesday. The occasion was the official preview of Aryan's debut directorial venture, the Netflix series The Ba***ds of Bollywood, held at Mumbai's iconic Yash Raj Studios. The event was a star-studded affair with the entire principal cast and crew in attendance. Shah Rukh Khan himself played host for the evening, infusing the proceedings with his signature wit and self-deprecating humour. Introducing the world of the show, which appears to be a meta tribute to the madness of Bollywood's showbiz culture, Shah Rukh set the tone for what promises to be an irreverent ride. However, the evening's most heartfelt moment came when Shah Rukh introduced his son to the public for the first time as a director. Visibly emotional and on the verge of tears, the actor said: 'I'm deeply grateful to the sacred land of Mumbai, to this country, which has given me 30 years to try and entertain you. Today is a very special day, because on this very same land, my son is now taking his first step. He's a very good boy, as all fathers believe about their sons, and he's hardworking. At home, we've only taught him a few things: box office success isn't guaranteed, nor are positive reviews from critics. But giving your 100% through hard work, that's the one guarantee you can control. So today, when he stands before you, please clap for him. But along with those claps, send him a small prayer too. And like I've said before, the love you've given me over the years, even if he receives just 10, 20, 30, 40, 50% of that, if it were anyone else, I would have stopped right there. But if he's lucky enough to get 60, 70, 80, 90, 100, even 150%, of that love, please give it to him.' Also Read | Shah Rukh Khan wondered if Aryan was 'putting up Mannat's CCTV footage on YouTube' when he first heard the idea of The Ba***ds of Bollywood Aryan Khan then took the stage, making his first-ever public appearance. 'This is the first time I'm coming on stage in front of all of you. So I've been practising this speech for the last 2–3 nights. In fact, I'm so nervous I even had it written on the teleprompter, and just in case there's a power outage, I've brought a hard copy in my pocket too! And if I still mess up, my dad is here. And if even after all that I make a mistake, please forgive me, this is my first time.' He went on to speak about the intent behind the show: 'With this show, the only intention was to entertain people all across the world. After four years of hard work, endless discussions, and thousands of takes, the show is finally ready.' Staying true to its unapologetically self-aware tone, The Ba***ds of Bollywood preview features cameo appearances from Bollywood heavyweights like Salman Khan, Karan Johar, and Ranveer Singh. Notably, Aryan Khan has also cheekily addressed his own jail time in the series. Set to premiere on September 18, the series stars Lakshya, Bobby Deol, Raghav Juyal, Sahher Bambba, Manoj Pahwa, Gautami Kapoor, Mona Singh, and Rajat Bedi in key roles. Produced by Red Chillies Entertainment, the show is created and directed by Aryan Khan, alongside co-creators Bilal Siddiqi and Manav Chauhan, all three also share writing credits.
