#SHOWBIZ: Fasha Sandha not offended by elderly woman who didn't recognise her
KUALA LUMPUR: Actress Fasha Sandha has said she was not offended after a video of an elderly woman failing to recognise her recently went viral. Speaking at a press conference to announce the 208th branch opening of Kopi Saigon, a business she co-owns with her husband, Aidil Aziz, Fasha explained she holds no grudges over the incident. She added that she considers herself to be an ordinary person. "Not everyone watches television dramas or entertainment. Some people prefer religious programmes. So it's not surprising if they don't know who I am," she said. "I don't see myself as a celebrity. I'm just like anyone else who runs errands, goes to the market, and even drives themselves around. I only consider myself an artist when I'm on duty, like when I'm being interviewed by the media." Fasha, 41, added that she has always lived by the principle of humility. "I've always been this way. Being genuine makes people feel more connected to you. It's perfectly okay if someone doesn't recognise me." She pointed out that with the rise of social media and streaming platforms, many people no longer watch traditional television, making it understandable if some are unfamiliar with her work. Previously, Fasha shared a funny Instagram video of the elderly woman who, despite not recognising her, was seemingly taken by her beauty and grace. The woman even offered to set Fasha up with her grandson. Fasha believes the woman didn't realise who she was, especially because she was not wearing any makeup. "On TV, I'm usually fully made-up. But in person, I look very different. That's probably why she didn't recognise me," said Fasha.

iKON's Jay To Perform In KL This Year? Organiser Teases Mystery K-pop Idol
The guessing games show no signs of stopping. Lately, a number of brands, event organisers, and companies have been teasing collaborations with K-pop idols, some even hinting that the superstars will be making special appearances in Malaysia in the near future. It appears that we're adding one more to this list of mystery idols coming to our shores. Here's what we know so far: On Wednesday (6th August), event organiser Euphoryk 乐园 teased fans with news that a certain K-pop idol will be making an appearance in Kuala Lumpur soon. The post featured a silhouette of the male artist, along with a couple of clues: he is the main vocalist of a group and has just completed his military service. Obviously, it didn't take long for fans to start guessing, and the majority believe it's most likely Jay (김진환) from iKON (아이콘). The idol's official role in the group is main vocalist, and he completed his military service earlier in April. Fans also recognised the silhouette used in the teaser, as it matches one of the promotional photos from his solo album '[OBEY]', which was released last month. At the time of writing, there has been no official confirmation on whether the event will be a fan meeting or a full concert. However, based on the organiser's track record, the latter seems highly likely. That said, it could also be a fan-con, an event where the singer may both perform and interact with fans, potentially including songs from his solo work as well as iKON's discography. For now, we'll have to wait for the official announcement, so stay tuned for those updates. If the mystery idol turns out to be Jay, will you be saving up for tickets? Source: Instagram

(Video) DOLLA & KIIRAS Team Up For 'MWA' & 'ZILLER' Dance Challenges
Newly debuted K-pop girl group KIIRAS (키라스) received a warm welcome during their first visit to Malaysia. The trip also marked a special homecoming for leader Ling Ling (링링/黃羚棱), who hails from Klang. In addition to performing at their first international showcase during 'The Music Journey 2 Roadshow', the group took part in several activities, including meeting fashion designer Peony Sin Hui Wen (萧惠玟) and filming a dance challenge in front of their billboard in Bukit Bintang. Speaking of dance challenges, the girls also delighted fans by performing DOLLA's 'MWA' challenge during a recent stage appearance. So, it was only natural for them to do it again, this time with the artists themselves while they were still in town. Watch the collaboration below: Yesterday (Wednesday, 6th August), DOLLA and KIIRAS shared a video on Instagram of themselves doing the former's 'MWA' dance challenge. The clip was filmed at a futsal court, though the exact location was not disclosed. The two groups were divided into trios, with 2 KIIRAS members paired with 1 DOLLA member in each group. Luckily for fans, the two groups didn't just do 1 but 2 dance challenges, with DOLLA taking part in KIIRAS' 'ZILLER' dance challenge with the members. Fans were delighted by the collaboration, as it also helped shine a spotlight on more Malaysian talent on the global stage. While many were excited to see the two girl groups teaming up, Ling Ling also took part in a special collaboration of her own. On the same day, KIIRAS shared a video on their official Instagram account of their leader taking on the 'KILL MA BO$$' dance challenge with her sunbaenim, Isaac Voo (邬凯名/아이젝), a fellow Malaysian and K-pop idol from the boy group SKYE. Fun fact: Both Isaac and Ling Ling are known as the first male and female Malaysian K-pop idols, respectively. With Ling Ling leading KIIRAS, fans are hopeful for future musical collaborations with DOLLA, SKYE, or other Malaysian artists. There's no doubt that such projects have the potential to break records and make history.
