Justin Bieber and Scooter Braun's debt clearance is on hold. According to media sources, the musician is relying on his wife, Hailey Bieber, to pay the amount to his former business partner.
Sources claimed that the singer is waiting for the latter's Rhode deal to hit the bank, and following the amount being credited, he will clear off the debts.
On July 10, it was reported that the Baby singer had agreed to pay Braun 31 million USD after an audit claimed that the musician owed him millions.
Justin Bieber and Scooter Braun's multimillion-dollar deal
According to the source close to the SWAG crooner, Bieber had borrowed a loan from Scooter Braun after he went into debt due to the cancelation of the 2022 Justice Tour. As per the reports, the musician suffered from Ramsay Hunt syndrome, and the cancelation of the performances cost him USD 26 million.
At the time, Braun 'stepped in to help' and paid the singer 26 million through his company, HYBE. Moreover, Scooter also had over 11 million unpaid commissions, half of which Justin will have to pay.
Meanwhile, Bieber's settlement of the debt with Braun came from Hailey's USD 1 billion deal with the company e.l.f., which the runway model reached in May.
Taking to her Instagram account, the businesswoman announced that she sold her beauty brand, Rhode, to e.l.f. In the caption she mentioned, 'When I launched @rhode in 2022, I always had big dreams for the company, and the most important thing to me is to keep bringing rhode to more spaces, places, and faces globally.'
Before her announcement, an insider revealed that the mom of one was the sole breadwinner of the house. Opening up about Bieber's financial conditions, a source revealed, 'He'll spend $300,000 at the Nobu at Coachella. He hasn't worked in a really long time.'
As for the money matters of the musician, it was out in the public domain a few months before he released his new album, SWAG.

‘Deep as ocean,' PM Modi calls Maldives India's ‘most trusted' friend, announces ₹4,850 cr line of credit

India and the Maldives on Friday exchanged eight key agreements covering a wide range of sectors, including Line of Credit, debt repayment, fisheries, digital transformation, and Unified Payments Interface (UPI), in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Maldivian President Mohamed Muizzu. Modi's visit signals a significant improvement in India-Maldives relations after a period of tension. He also revealed that the two nations are moving forward with negotiations for a bilateral investment treaty and have already begun talks on a free trade agreement. 1. Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasised that New Delhi is proud to be the "most trusted" friend of the Indian Ocean archipelago. 'For us, it is always friendship first,' Modi said in his media statement, adding the 'roots of our relations are older than history, and as deep as the ocean.' The Maldives holds an important place in India's "Neighbourhood First" policy and MAHASAGAR (Mutual and Holistic Advancement for Security and Growth Across Regions) vision, the prime minister said, as reported by PTI. 2. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday announced that India is proud to be the Maldives' most trusted friend, following the announcement of a ₹ 4,850 crore line of credit to support the island nation. The two leaders witnessed the exchange of six MOUs in the fields of fisheries and aquaculture, meteorology, digital public infrastructure, UPI, Indian pharmacopoeia and concessional Line of Credit. 3. The new Line of Credit offers Rupees 4850 crores [ approx USD 550 million] in support of infrastructure development and other activities in Maldives. An Amendatory Agreement for the existing LoCs was also exchanged. It reduces Maldives's annual debt repayment obligations by 40% [from USD 51 million to 29 million]. Both sides also exchanged Terms of Reference of the proposed Free Trade Agreement. 4. The two leaders also virtually inaugurated a roads and drainage system project in Addu city and six High Impact Community Development Projects in other cities. Prime Minister handed over 3,300 social housing units and 72 vehicles for Maldives National Defence Force and the Immigration authorities. 5. Prime Minister also handed over two units of Aarogya Maitri Health Cube [BHISHM] sets to the Government of Maldives. With state-of-the-art medical equipment as part of the cube, it can provide medical aid to 200 casualties with in-built support to sustain a crew of six medical personnel for up to 72 hours. The recent improvement in India-Maldives relations is particularly notable given the initial strain under Maldivian President Mohamed Muizzu, who took office in November 2023 after campaigning on an "India Out" platform and is seen as having close ties to China. Tensions escalated quickly after Muizzu's inauguration, when he called for the withdrawal of Indian military personnel from the Maldives. In response, India replaced its military presence with civilian personnel to ease diplomatic friction. The Maldives remains one of India's key maritime partners in the Indian Ocean Region, and bilateral ties in defence and security had strengthened significantly under previous Maldivian administrations. Maldivian President Muizzu affirms enduring strength of India-Maldives ties at state banquet

Male/New Delhi, July 25 (UNI) Maldivian President Mohamed Muizzu today affirmed the enduring strength of Maldives-India relations, stating that the historic bond between both nations cannot be weakened. He made the remakes at a state banquet hosted by himself and First Lady Sajidha Mohamed in honour of Indian Prime Minister Modi, who is on a two-day state visit to the Maldives at the President's invitation. In his speech, the President said that while this year marks the 60th anniversary of the establishment of official diplomatic relations between the Maldives and India, the relationship dates back centuries. While history bears witness to this, he noted that both countries have deep-rooted ties through trade and other cultural activities since long before official diplomatic relations were established. The President emphasised that India has always been an important partner in the Maldives' development journey, and noted that the relationship is strengthening, particularly in the fields of security, health, trade and education. He expressed confidence that India can play an important role in building a sustainable, inclusive and youth-driven economy in the Maldives. In his speech, the President also acknowledged Prime Minister Modi as the second longest-serving Prime Minister in India's history, describing it as a reflection of his dedication to national service. The banquet was attended by members of the visiting Indian delegation and senior officials of the Government of the Maldives. Earlier, during the joint press statement following their delegation level talks, President Muizzu underscored India's central role in the Maldives' development. Eight memoranda of understanding were signed during the official meetings, reflecting mutual commitment to broad collaboration across key sectors, including infrastructure, defence, education, health care, and economic development. Among the agreements, a USD 565 million line of credit was announced, an initiative President Muizzu described as essential for advancing critical national priorities. Targeted areas include sports, public housing, health services, education, and military infrastructure. India also offered a currency swap facility intended to help the Maldives navigate prevailing economic challenges. Discussions also reflected the durability of bilateral relations, as President Muizzu commended India's longstanding assistance, including its timely response during disasters and emergencies, which reinforced the partnership's humanitarian and strategic significance. Developmental projects featured prominently in the discussions, with President Muizzu highlighting the India-assisted Malé-Thilafushi bridge as a cornerstone of cooperative infrastructure and a forthcoming symbol of shared progress. Other initiatives noted included the construction of 3,300 housing units, extensive roadworks in Addu City, and the provision of 72 heavy vehicles to the Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF). Prime Minister Modi's state visit coincides with the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two nations. UNI RN
