‘Modern Family' star Eric Stonestreet gushes over Taylor Swift's romance with his ‘great' pal Travis Kelce
'Travis is awesome,' the 'Modern Family' alum gushed to Page Six at the 'Dexter: Resurrection' premiere earlier this week. 'I've known Travis for a long time, and I was so happy for him when they started dating because I know him.'
'She deserves a great guy,' the actor, 53, added, 'and he's a great guy.'
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end and the 'Bad Blood' singer, both 35, went public with their romance in September 2023, two months after he expressed interest in Swift on his 'New Heights' podcast.
The couple most recently celebrated July 4th at the exclusive Yellowstone Club in Big Sky, Montana.
Stonestreet, a passionate Kansas City Chiefs fan, met Kelce through the team and they share a close bond. The actor even joked about being able to FaceTime the NFL star after winning a SAG award in 2024.
'The Secret Lives of Pets' star demurred when Page Six asked if he thinks he'd score a wedding invite.
'Oh my god, I don't know about that,' he said. 'I love both of them very much. It would obviously be amazing if that happened, but I wouldn't want to go if it wasn't the right thing.'
'I wouldn't want to force my way in there,' he added.
Stonestreet can currently be seen as a serial killer in the new 'Dexter' series, and is elated at the opportunity to play such a nefarious character.
'[The producers] thought of me right off the bat,' he explained. 'It would be different if I'd never heard of the show before, but I'm a big fan of the show, and these guys have a great reputation.'
'The fact that they thought who'd be right for this would be me immediately flatters you, right? And then once I saw the material, I was in. [It's] just an awesome experience.'
Franchise star Michael C. Hall was also in attendance at the splashy premiere along with Peter Dinklage, Uma Thurman, Christian Slater, Krysten Ritter and David Zayas.
The first two episodes of 'Dexter: Resurrection' are now streaming on Paramount+ Premium, and will also air Sunday at 8 p.m. ET on Paramount+ With Showtime.

NYT Mini Hints For Wednesday, July 16: Today's Extra Clues And Answers
Answers for today's NYT Mini Crossword are just ahead. Before we get to today's NYT Mini crossword hints, clues and answers, here are Tuesday's: Wondering what it might mean to keep something in the loop? Not sure what type of wood Horace Slughorn's wand is made from in the Harry Potter books? Don't worry, because I'm here to help you with extra hints and the answers for today's NYT Mini crossword. The NYT Mini is a quick and dirty version of the newspaper's larger and long-running crossword. Most days, there are between three and five clues in each direction on a five by five grid, but the puzzles are sometimes larger, especially on Saturdays. Unlike its larger sibling, the NYT Mini crossword is free to play on the New York Times website or NYT Games app. However, you'll need an NYT Games subscription to access previous puzzles in the archives. Here are extra hints and the official NYT Mini Crossword clues and answers for Wednesday, July 16: Spoilers lie ahead, so remember to scroll slowly: NYT Mini Crossword Hints 1 Across: Measurements in syringes, perhaps 4 Across: Keeps pants up 6 Across: Completely treasure 7 Across: Major annual WWE event Wrestle_____ 8 Across: A Member of Congress 1 Down: ____ Rapids, a city in Iowa 2 Down: Like a dinosaur in Jurassic Park or Dolly the Sheep 3 Down: Area where many of Las Vegas' most famous hotels and casinos are 4 Down: Exclamation often made by chef Emeril Lagasse 5 Down: The Old Man and the ____, Ernest Hemingway novella NYT Mini Crossword Clues And Answers 1 Across: Keeps in the loop, in a way – CCS 4 Across: They're kept in the loop – BELTS 6 Across: Love to pieces – ADORE 7 Across: Craze – MANIA 8 Across: Single weightlifting unit – REP 1 Down: Type of wood in Horace Slughorn's wand in the Harry Potter books – CEDAR 2 Down: What might have you seeing double? – CLONE 3 Down: Cartoonist's creation – STRIP 4 Down: "Ka-POW!" – BAM 5 Down: The Caribbean, e.g. – SEA Completed New York Times Mini crossword for Wednesday, July 16. It took me 2:29 to complete today's NYT Mini. Wow, was this a tough one! The only answers I got without help from other letters were ADORE and SEA. I figured that MANIA might be "trend," but it quickly became clear that didn't fit with any Down answers. I took an educated guess with CEDAR. That clue seems requires very specific knowledge (I've seen the Harry Potter films, but haven't read the books and there's absolutely zero chance I'm going to do that at this point because, y'know). That helped me get REP, which I initially thought might be "lbs," but that wouldn't make sense for a 'single' unit. The "P" there led me to figure out STRIP, which led into MANIA and CLONE. With "-elts" on the board, the only thing that made sense for 4 Across was BELTS. BAM seems like a pretty arbitrary one to me. It took me far too long to figure out how CCS related to the clue – it refers to CCing someone on an email. See you tomorrow for more NYT Mini fun! The two-time Grammy-winning artist's candid post came as a surprise amid his divorce rumors. The couple has been married since 2018, but due to the singer's social media rant and overall health, rumors were afloat that their marriage had hit rock bottom. Some reports even suggested that the Biebers are staying together due to their son, Jack Blues. The missing ring led to speculations that they were having serious marital issues. Although neither of them has ever spoken publicly about their troubled marriage, the Rhode founder did hint about their strong relationship in Vogue's May cover. Referring to the online chatter about her relationship, she said, 'I thought seven years in it would've [died down] already, and it hasn't.' The mom of one also added, 'You would think after having a child, people would maybe move on, chill out a little bit, but no. So I guess these bitches are going to be mad.' Hailey Bieber Calls Out ‘Losers' While Supporting Justin Bieber's New Album
Hailey Bieber has seemingly clapped back at divorce rumors with Justin Bieber in a recent Instagram post. While supporting her husband's new album, 'Swag,' Hailey wrote a strong-worded message on her Instagram Story on Thursday. The proud wife responded to ongoing speculation about her marriage by writing, 'Is it finally clocking to you f—ing losers?' alongside an ad for Justin's upcoming project. Hailey Bieber recently shut down rumors of divorce or marriage trouble with her husband, Justin Bieber, by posting a message on her Instagram story on July 10. The model dismissed the speculations while supporting Justin's upcoming seventh studio album, 'Swag.' 'Is it finally clocking to you f—ing losers?' the 28-year-old wrote via her Instagram Story along with a picture of the album's billboard at New York City's Times Square. The billboard even featured a 20-song track list from Justin's upcoming project. The billboard of 'Swag' also featured a black-and-white snap of the couple and their son, Jack Blues Bieber. The Rhode founder's quip refers to a viral moment in which the singer confronted a paparazzi by asking, 'It's not clocking to you that I'm standing on business, is it?' The clip went viral on social media last month, and many users even turned the clip into a meme. However, with his surprise album, the Grammy winner is ending a four-year music drought. It will be his first project since the 2021 album, 'Justice.' Although the pop star hasn't officially confirmed when his new project will drop, according to The Hollywood Reporter, Def Jam will release the album at midnight on July 11. The album will also include features from rappers Gunna, Sexyy Red, and Cash Cobain. According to PEOPLE, a source claimed that Justin's new album is 'darker, more vulnerable and less polished. It's in no way depressing though.' Revealing more about the project, the insider added that the music is 'much deeper' and being a dad has 'shaped the heart' of the singer's new album as his 10-month-old son 'is the most precious to him.'
