'Cooling' Oodie pyjamas that are the 'best jammies' in warm weather cut by 30%
With August almost upon us, and temperatures still fluctuating post-heatwave, many of us are still battling with soaring temperatures at night. While swapping out our duvets for lighter togs and adding fans can be a godsend, upgrading to cooling nightwear may be the answer.
Oodie, the brand behind the viral blanket hoodie, offers exactly that in its cooling PJs and it's currently running a deal that sees 30% knocked off. Shoppers can get the brand's Cooling Short Sleeve PJ Top, which usually retails at £39 for £27.30 and its matching shorts for the same price.
Available in sizes small to 2XL, the 'ultra breathable' top is made from 87% Modal and 13% Elastane and is said to be 'naturally cooling'. The brand explains: "Our modal blend is 21% more breathable than regular cotton jersey PJs."
Stretchy and 'buttery soft', the Oodie pyjamas with their pretty cloud pattern claim to be fade resistant and the brand adds they're great for hot sleepers as 'it allows airflow to prevent that sticky, overheating feeling'.
The PJs rival that of Marks and Spencer's Cool Comfort™ Printed Shortie Set pyjamas, which retail at £20 for a t-shirt and shorts. While their make-up is 'cotton rich', they have been crafted with Cool Comfort™ technology which 'regulates your temperature as you snooze'.
Alternatively, Uniqlo's AIRism Cotton Pyjamas, £34.90, has been praised by shoppers for keeping them cool in summer, with one person saying: "I usually sweat a lot in summer and these pyjamas have been good in keeping me cool." Although they added: "They aren't completely cotton so be aware. I wish they were."
Fans of the Oodie set have been raving about the pyjamas top and bottoms, with some sharing how they exceeded their expectations.
One happy Oodie shopper wrote alongside a five star rating: "So these days it's hard to find things that match up to your expectations but these exceeded mine. I can get quite hot at night and these are genuinely cooling. You notice when you first put them on but also I tend to sleep better in them too.
"I would definitely recommend. I'd love to buy these in other colours if they had them."
Someone else added: "I always run hot a night and these help me keep cooler. So so comfortable."
"The shirt is great! It's super super soft and definitely helps with cooling! Size up for the shorts if you want to match due to the increased tightness of the waistband on the shorts", added another.
Although for some people this cooling effect was lost on them. One shopper said: "They are literally made from the same material as the sleep tees, they're not cooling in the slightest. I really don't know why they are being marketed as this. I wish I hadn't spent the money on them."
The sleep tees are made from a similar make-up (with its Cloud design on sale for £29 from £55) leaving them breathable, buttery soft and comfy. The brand notes: "Made from a unique blend of bamboo and spandex to keep you cool and comfortable all night long."
Despite this, most people have hailed them as the ' best PJs ever ': "These are the most comfortable and lightweight pjs I've ever worn. I no longer wake up covered in sweat, I sleep the whole night comfortably. I highly recommend these pjs, you won't be sorry!!"
With the brand's 30% discount, shoppers can also get their hands on the brand's Original Oodie for £45 instead of £65.

I just found the best straight jeans on the high street – they're only £35 and perfect for autumn
Daily Mail journalists select and curate the products that feature on our site. If you make a purchase via links on this page we will earn commission - learn more A couple of weeks ago, I popped into Uniqlo's showroom in central London for a sneak peek of the AW25 collection. From cashmere knits to collared jackets and cord trousers, there was a lot to preview – and to get me excited for autumn. I left that afternoon thinking about one item in particular: a pair of straight jeans from the JW Anderson collection that I knew were going to be the perfect fit as soon as I'd pulled them from the rack. So, a few days later, I set out to find the pair in the Uniqlo store on Kensington High Street. As I swerved the rows of tees and parkas, and headed straight for the denim section, I was prepared to leave disappointed and place an online order (the collaboration with JW Anderson often sells out, after all). But, as luck would have it, the jeans were still in stock in different washes and a decent number of sizes. After beelining for the fitting rooms with three pairs, I ended up leaving with just one, though I'm already thinking about splurging on another colour when my next pay day rolls around. So, let's get into the details. I'm talking about are Straight Jeans from the Uniqlo x JW Anderson collection. They're a classic, five-pocket style with a mid-rise waist, and are available in three washes (light, mid and indigo blue) and three lengths (29inch, 31inch and 33inch). While they're made from 100% cotton (a composition I usually avoid when I'm shopping for jeans because it means there's no stretch), these don't need to be 'worn in' and are very comfortable to wear from the start. Plus, their clean straight cut (bar from a discrete JW Anderson logo on the back pocket) makes them look far more expensive than their high street price tag. They're also some of the best-fitting jeans I've ever tried on. After some hesitation (I wanted to size up for a more relaxed fit), I ended up going for a size 30 as there is minimal gaping at the back. And the 31inch length is just right for my 5ft 8inch frame, hitting at the ankle when I'm wearing trainers or loafers (although I think the 33inch length would be better come autumn, when I want to team the jeans with heeled ankle boots). They're just £35, too. Get a pair before they go viral on TikTok. The retailer's Panelled Full Denim Skirt has seen a price drop, discounting from £112 to £44.80, offering a whopping £67.20 save for fashion enthusiasts. The mid vintage dress comes in a rich blue denim colour, which can be perfectly styled with either boots during the colder months or heeled sandals during the warmer months. The Panelled Full Denim Skirt is also available in the Ecru colour, also currently discounted from £112 to £56, for shoppers wanting a more neutral coloured skirt. It is also shaped to flare out at the hem, "creating a little extra drama", according to the retailer. From superstar gigs to cosy pubs, find out What's On in Wales by signing up to our newsletter here . Crafted from 73% cotton, 20% recycled cotton, 6% hemp and 1% elastane, the skirt is built to last, as well as easy to care and maintain as it is machine washable. The skirt has a single stud button fastening at centre front waist with zip fly, making it easy to wear on or take off, and even better than that - it comes with side pockets. Alternatively, for a midi skirt that isn't denim, shoppers can purchase Next's Satin Midi Skirt that comes in eight different colours and is sold for £32. Or, the M&S Collection Textured Midi Circle Skirt is for £35 at Marks and Spencer. Back at Boden, the Panelled Full Denim Skirt has received a 4.4 rating out of five stars and 54 reviews so far. One satisfied customer, who gave it five-star rating, remarked: "Great shape, flattering on the hips and waist and a nice generous A line. Perfect pockets." The mid vintage dress comes in a rich blue denim colour, which can be perfectly styled with either boots during the colder months or heeled sandals during the warmer months (Image: Boden) While another pleased shopper had this to say: "Was delighted when I found this skirt been looking for ages for a replacement for a denim skirt to replace an 'ancient' denim skirt bought I guess in 70's. Fits like a dream and feels so soft and is stylish." And another customer remarked: "I take a size 16. This is a true size 16, and fits me perfectly. The skirt is well cut and the seams are all very well finished, which is extremely rare these days! The denim is heavy weight and hangs beautifully. I wore it the day after I received it and was very happy. And it's got pockets". But not everyone was happy with the skirt. While one praised the skirt for its fabric, they were unsure about its sizing. "Nice thick denim, but pocket placement and waist to hip ratio was a problem for me," they reviewed. Another unhappy shopper stated: "This denim skirt is really good quality and a nice weight that does swish because of the A line panels. Unfortunately, it was one to two inches too big on the waist, the stretch in the fabric and weight of the material did not help this problem. "I ordered a size 6 (I'm a classic 6), but unfortunately will need to return. If a size 4 was available I would have tried it, as it's quite lovely." Meanwhile, a shopper had nothing but praise for the denim skirt and even bought another one. In their review, they penned: "This is a really nice skirt. Well made, hangs well, fabric not too heavy but nice for summer wear. As it was such a good fit, I ordered the denim one as well." And other happy customers praised the skirt for its versatility, especially its all-year round wear. One customer said: "Great staple of jeans skirt. Proper heavy jeans material, panelled A-line skirt with larger border at the hem, it falls beautifully and feels great to wear. "Jeans skirts used to be around much more, but not in last few years, so I was pleasantly surprised to find Boden offers 2x styles this year! It fits well, I'm size 10 and 5ft 9 tall, so the length half way down my lower leg is good. "The pockets are roomy enough to keep the hands inside, but don't stand out too much, so keep a nice silhouette. This will be lovely for spring or cool summer and autumn, very versatile! Thank you Boden for a classic skirt! Can't find a fault yet, but haven't washed it yet." And one revealed they were a bit apprehensive before buying: "I was worried about buying this due to the reviews about sizing and excess material. I'm in between a 10 and 12 but went with the 12 and I'm glad I did as it sits well on the waist. Article continues below "There is extra material but I let it sit for a while so the denim softened and then the material fell nicely overlapping. Great length too. I find shorter denim skirts can ride up when you sit, but this certainly won't. Will be easy to dress up or down."
