Here's How Jennifer Lopez Apparently Feels About Those Photos Of Ben Affleck Hugging Jennifer Garner

Buzz Feed13-03-2025

It doesn't look like Jennifer Lopez will release a "Bad Blood" remix anytime soon.
Earlier this month, suggestive photos went viral of Ben Affleck giving his ex, Jennifer Garner, a really tight hug at their son's birthday party.
They share three kids: Violet, 19, Seraphina, 16, and Samuel, who turned 13th this month. Garner and Affleck were married in 2005, announced their split in 2015, and their divorce was finalized three years later.
With this new viral photo, of course, the internet speculated there was more behind the hug, which could spark drama considering Affleck and Garner's other relationships since their split.
If you remember, after rekindling their relationship in 2021 and getting married in July 2022, Affleck and Lopez filed for divorce, which marked their second high-profile split since they broke off their first engagement in 2004.
In January 2025, the divorce was finalized after nearly 20 weeks, so it makes sense why people would wonder how Lopez feels about Affleck seemingly cozying up with his previous ex-wife.
According to an insider obtained by People, Affleck and Garner "have been on good terms for a while now and seem to enjoy chatting and hanging out." The insider clarified that "most of the time, the kids are around too," so it feels like nothing more than a co-parenting situation.
As for Garner, she's been dating John C. Miller, the CEO of CaliBurger and its parent company, CaliGroup.
The source added that Affleck "usually acts happy around" Garner and has been "extra giddy lately, though, and much more affectionate."
So, how does the "On The Floor" singer feel about all these viral photos? According to a source obtained by People, Lopez "isn't bothered" by the cozy photos "at all."
The source claims, " Jennifer Garner knows what it is and knows what it is not. And people are reading into it in a way to create drama where there is none."
The source added that Lopez "doesn't feel betrayed" and "I think the two Jens are great admirers of the other, and I think they're all co-parenting."
In case you wanted some mess, you're out of luck. It's copacetic in the world of Ben's ex-Jennifers. "There is no animosity. They are friendly," the source continued, "We're always pitting women against women. In this case, it's just not the truth."
Personally, I find it very admirable that Ben and the Jennifers have maintained a decent co-parenting relationship for the children. It's far better than the Bravo-esque drama people are searching for. Tell me what you think about this in the comments.

Kate Hudson says Mindy Kaling sent 'Running Point' notes from hospital bed: 'Isn't Mindy literally in labor?'

Mindy Kaling doesn't let anything stop her from getting the job done right — including giving birth! During a panel at an Emmy FYC event for Netflix's comedy series Running Point on Friday, star Kate Hudson gushed about how the show's co-creator proved her dedication to their work, even at her most fraught moments. "I have to say, I've fallen in love with this woman," Hudson said of Kaling, who also executive-produced the show. "And she's just not only so brilliant, but so trusting ... she puts the best team together," she said, per PEOPLE. Hudson, who plays a woman who's abruptly appointed leader of her family's pro basketball team in the series, recalled that Kaling was even working from her hospital bed after quietly welcoming her third child in February of 2024. "And she was pregnant. We had a script, like our first table read. She's on Zoom," the actress shared. "She then has the baby and is sending notes like an hour after she has the baby. I was like, 'Isn't Mindy literally in labor?'" It was all proof to Hudson that the Velma creator is "a powerhouse" that "delivers what she says she's going to deliver." The Almost Famous alum isn't the only star who has praise for Kaling. Brenda Song, who also stars on Running Point as Isla's formidable bestie and Waves chief of staff Ali Lee, previously told Entertainment Weekly that the mother of three emboldened an uncertain Song to "come with us, trust us." "I was like, I will follow you blindly," Song shared. The mother of two and fiancé of fellow actor Macaulay Culkin said the experience reaffirmed the spark she felt working on Gia Coppola's The Last Showgirl. "Working with such incredible, supportive, talented people has really re-energized me and reminded me why I love doing what I do so much." Kaling created the sports comedy with Elaine Ko, Ike Barinholtz, and David Stassen. The show focuses on Hudson as Isla Gordon, who leads the L.A. Waves, a Lakers-like basketball team with an illustrious reputation, after her brother Cam (Justin Theroux) becomes embroiled in a drug scandal. Long overlooked by her brothers (which also include Drew Tarver and Scott MacArthur) and late father, the ambitious and sports-savvy Isla must prove she's right for the job. She has to find a way to win respect and a championship. Netflix renewed the show for a second season earlier this year. "It was a completely new experience," Hudson told EW in February about making the series. "I'd never been on a show where you do so much in one day. You would shoot a scene from two completely different episodes. I was like, 'This is a whole new world.' But we had such an amazing team of people, and oh my God, we just laughed so much." Running Point is streaming on Netflix. Read the original article on Entertainment Weekly

Chris Pratt Says ‘Hug Your Loved Ones' After Fatal Shooting of ‘Parks and Recreation' Co-Star Jonathan Joss

Chris Pratt paid tribute to his 'Parks and Recreation' co-star Jonathan Joss on social media after the news of his death in a shooting, telling his followers to 'hug your loved ones.' Joss, who played Chief Ken Hotate on 'Parks and Rec' and was best known for voicing 'King of the Hill' character John Redcorn, was fatally shot in San Antonio, Texas on Sunday and pronounced dead at the scene. RIP Jonathan,' Pratt posted on his Instagram Story on Monday. 'Always such a kind dude. He played Ken Hotate in Parks and was also in Mag 7. Sad to see. Prayers up. Hug your loved ones.' Joss was in five 'Parks and Rec' episodes between 2011 and 2015, appearing across the sitcom's third, fifth and seventh seasons. Pratt broke out on the series as Andy Dwyer, a goofy but lovable musician who dated Aubrey Plaza's cynical April Ludgate. Nick Offerman, who led 'Parks and Rec' as the department's director Ron Swanson, told People on Monday that the cast of the show had been 'texting all day' to process their grief over Joss' death together. 'The cast has been texting together about it all day and we're just heartbroken,' Offerman said. 'Jonathan was such a sweet guy and we loved having him as our Chief Ken Hotate. A terrible tragedy.' The investigation into Joss' death is still ongoing, but the shooter was detained at the scene and booked for murder. In a statement on Joss' Facebook page, the actor's husband, Tristan Kern de Gonzales, alleged that he and Joss were targets of homophobic harassment and that their house burned down 'after over two years of threats from people in the area who repeatedly told us they would set it on fire.' The San Antonio Police Department said in a statement that there is currently 'no evidence to indicate Mr. Joss' murder was related to his sexual orientation.' Ralph Macchio's Secret Talent That Played a Key Role in His 'Karate Kid' Success

Ralph Macchio showed off some tap dancing moves on Live with Kelly and Mark The Karate Kid star told hosts Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos his tap skills could help with karate moves Macchio stars in the latest installment of the Karate Kid universe, Karate Kid: LegendsRalph Macchio is a man of many talents — acting, karate, and ... tap dancing! While the Karate Kid: Legends star opened up about his childhood on Friday's episode of Live with Kelly and Mark, such as how he worked for his father's laundromat growing up, he also revealed a unique skill that helped with his famous Karate Kid roles. "I wanted to be Gene Kelly," Macchio told hosts Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos of taking tap dancing classes as a kid. "My mom and I used to watch the old movie musicals when I was a kid." "That's where I sort of [was] bit with the bug of wanting to perform," Macchio added, noting that the choreography skills he learned for tap could transfer to karate moves. "One, you point your toes, and the other, you flex." With a little encouragement from Ripa and Consuelos, the Cobra Kai actor got up and showed a few tap moves. Despite Macchio feeling his skills were a little rough, Ripa and Consuelos plus the audience applauded for seeing the original Karate Kid in action. After recently wrapping the sixth and final season of Netflix's Karate Kid spinoff series Cobra Kai, Macchio reprises his role of Daniel LaRusso for the latest installment of the Karate Kid franchise — Karate Kid: Legends. The film also stars Jackie Chan's Mr. Han, who appeared in the 2010 Karate Kid remake, and new protagonist Li Fong (played by Ben Wang). Macchio told PEOPLE at the New York City premiere of Karate Kid: Legends that the sixth film of the martial arts franchise "has different [and] more of like an early Jackie Chan movie style, a Hong Kong style." "The fight [scenes], the cameras are really wide lenses inside the fights. There's humor laced throughout and there was always humor in the Karate Kid films, but the original films we made was kind of cinema magic, very romantic," Macchio said. "Wide, long takes, dialogue scenes that breathe. This is a quicker pace for this generation, but laced with humor, excitement, next level martial arts and Ben Wang is a rock star in the movie." "And the reason I'm in this movie is to pay that legacy forward," Macchio added. "Shedding a little piece of Miyagi forward. It's never the wrong thing to do in Daniel LaRusso's eyes and in Ralph Macchio's eyes." Karate Kid: Legends is now playing in theaters. Read the original article on People
