
Dreama launches ‘My Step Starts Now' campaign to empower orphans
At the heart of the campaign were real success stories from Dreama youth, illustrating that true empowerment begins internally, with self-belief and is strengthened by holistic community support. Through this initiative, Dreama sought to spotlight inspiring role models from among its children, reinforce their self-confidence, and encourage the public to take part in the empowerment journey through mentorship, support, and innovation.
The campaign activities included a series of short videos and interactive content highlighting the journeys of orphaned youth who overcame challenges and achieved notable success across different fields embodying the essence of the campaign's message: 'My Step Starts Now'. These stories were shared widely on social media to amplify awareness. Additionally, an awareness booth was hosted at Place Vendome, featuring an interactive corner where visitors shared heartfelt, inspiring messages for Dreama's children.
On this occasion, Director of the Communication and Media Office at Dreama Munira Al Boloshi expressed her pride in the launch of the campaign, emphasizing the importance of community presence and direct engagement with the public. 'We believe that every step we take with our orphaned children opens doors to a brighter future. Our booth witnessed significant engagement from the public, where we shared powerful real-life stories that reflected strength, patience, and resilience stories that deserve to be told to a wider audience,' she said.
From the partner's side, Senior Human Resources Manager at FMM, Patrick Ishac, praised the ongoing collaboration with Dreama. He stated: 'At FMM, we are proud to have been working with Dreama since 2023. Our goal is to support programmes that create lasting positive impact beyond just business success.'

QNA Doha As part of its ongoing commitment to youth empowerment and capacity building, Dreama – the Orphan Care Centre – has launched a unique summer initiative titled 'The Financial Monitor', in collaboration with the Qatar Financial Centre Regulatory Authority (QFCRA). Targeting Dreama's children aged 6 to 16, the two-week program provides a rich, interactive professional experience tailored to the participants' developmental and psychological needs. The program aims to instil essential life skills and values by introducing children to workplace environments, enhancing communication skills, boosting self-confidence, and promoting discipline and responsibility. A key focus is raising financial and professional awareness in a safe, engaging, and age-appropriate learning setting. This initiative stems from Dreama's dedication to nurturing well-rounded individuals by offering immersive educational experiences that broaden their perspectives. The program emphasizes understanding work dynamics, building interpersonal communication, and fostering a sense of community participation and self-reliance. Developed and supervised by the QFCRA's qualified professionals, the program includes hands-on workshops and interactive sessions designed to simplify complex financial and regulatory concepts for young minds. The curriculum was carefully designed to match the participants' ages and learning styles. Training modules include Introduction to financial literacy: saving, spending, and personal budgeting; Visual storytelling: photography, content creation, and digital communication; Presentation and public speaking skills; Structuring a professional CV; Group activities and creative challenges outside the classroom; Financial terminology in Arabic and English to support bilingual financial awareness. Executive Director of Dreama Sheikha Najla bint Ahmed Al-Thani stated: 'This collaboration between Dreama and the Qatar Financial Centre Regulatory Authority stands as a model of effective institutional partnerships.
