Uttar Pradesh chief minister
Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday criticised Pakistan over its support of terrorism, warning that "one day it will swallow Pakistan."
Warning Pakistan over its "misdeeds", CM
Yogi Adityanath
said that those who disturb the security of India "will be put in a situation where no one will be able to attend their funeral."
Addressing the public at '
Bharat Shaurya Tiranga Yatra
' in Lucknow, CM Yogi said, "One day terrorism will swallow Pakistan also. Pakistan has become completely hollow.
Operation Sindoor
was a reply to Pakistan's misdeeds. Those who point a finger at India and disturb the security will be put in a situation where no one will be able to attend their funeral."
Yogi also targeted Pakistani army officials for attending the funeral of terrorists and called it a "failed nation."
"The world has seen this shameful act of Pakistan, where its army officials and top leaders attended the funeral of terrorists. These things show that Pakistan is a failed nation. In the last 70-75 years, Pakistan has sown the seeds of terrorism only," CM Yogi said.
CM Yogi Adityanath also thanked Prime Minister
Narendra Modi
for visiting Adampur Air Base in Punjab yesterday to uplift the spirit of the armed forces.
"We are thankful to PM Modi, who visited Punjab's Adampur Air Base and uplifted the spirit of the armed forces," he said.

Deputy CM thanked the central leadership and Prime Minister Narendra Modi for conducting the Tiranga Yatra.
"We thank the central leadership and PM Modi for conducting this Tiranga Yatra to express gratitude for the courage and sacrifice of our Armed forces. The army has given a befitting reply to Pakistan whenever it has made efforts to disrupt our peace and harmony through terrorism. I am thankful to the army for their efforts to destroy the hotspots of terrorism..." Pathak said , addressing the gathering.
The 'Tiranga Yatra' was launched by the
Bharatiya Janata Party
(BJP) to honour the valour of the soldiers and inform citizens about the success of Operation Sindoor. The campaign will continue till May 23.
India launched Operation Sindoor on May 7 as a decisive military response to the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack in which 26 people were killed.
Indian Armed Forces
targeted terror infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir, leading to the death of over 100 terrorists affiliated with terror outfits like the
Jaish-e-Mohammed
, Lashkar-e-Taiba and Hizbul Mujahideen.
After the attack, Pakistan retaliated with
cross-border shelling
across the Line of Control and Jammu and Kashmir as well as attempted drone attacks along the border regions, following which India launched a coordinated attack and damaged radar infrastructure, communication centres and airfields across 11 airbases in Pakistan.
After this, on May 10, an understanding of the cessation of hostilities between India and Pakistan was announced.

Siddaramaiah slams PM Modi's 11 years at Centre: Unfulfilled promises, zero marks
Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah delivered a sharp critique of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led government, marking its 11 years in power with a strong rebuke of what he described as 'unfulfilled promises' and 'zero marks'. Speaking on the anniversary, Siddaramaiah questioned the government's performance and the numerous commitments it made but failed to keep.'Modi is surviving only because of continuous campaigning. What happened to demonetisation? Who benefited from it? He promised Achhe Din, where are they? What happened to the promise of providing two crore jobs every year? He also assured the resolution of farmers' issues, what happened to that? Why did farmers protest for a year if their issues were being addressed?' Siddaramaiah He criticised the government for not delivering on its promises and suggested that the Prime Minister's frequent campaigning was a distraction. 'Most of the promises made by the Modi government were not fulfilled. They have only completed 11 years, that's all. What actually happened is, since he's always involved in campaigning, the media gives him excessive coverage.'Siddaramaiah also accused the Modi government of copying schemes pioneered by his state government. 'When we announced our guarantee schemes, they said it was impossible to implement and that the state would go bankrupt. But now, they've copied our schemes. Isn't that true? They have implemented similar programs in Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, and Rajasthan.'He went on to highlight the Prime Minister's record on fiscal federalism, saying, 'When he was the Chief Minister of Gujarat, he demanded 50 per cent devolution of taxes. But after becoming the Prime Minister, what did he do? Nothing. And you in the media don't even highlight that.'advertisementSiddaramaiah also accused the central government of neglecting Karnataka financially. 'Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman promised to give Rs 5,300 crore, did they give it? The 11th Pay Commission recommended Rs 11,495 crore for the state, was that given? When we ask the Bharatiya Janata Party to demand justice for Karnataka, they remain silent. Instead, they continue spreading fake narratives.'Concluding his remarks, the Chief Minister gave the Modi government a harsh assessment. 'I give the Modi government zero marks.' Espionage case: Hisar court extends social media influencer's judicial custody
Hisar, A local court on Monday extended the judicial custody of social media influencer Jyoti Malhotra and fixed her case's hearing on June 23. The 33-year-old YouTuber appeared before the court of Hisar Judicial Magistrate Sunil Kumar through video conferencing on Monday which extended her judicial custody by two weeks. "The court has extended her judicial custody and fixed June 23 for the next hearing in this case," her lawyer Kumar Mukesh said. Hisar Police arrested Malhotra on suspicion of espionage on May 16. She was subsequently remanded to five days of police custody by the court. Following the completion of the remand, the court extended it by four more days on the police's plea for further questioning. On May 26, the court remanded her to judicial custody for 14 days. Malhotra, who hails from the city, ran a YouTube channel "Travel with JO". She was arrested at the New Aggarsain Extension and booked under provisions of the Official Secrets Act and the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. Hisar Police previously said no evidence had emerged to indicate Malhotra had access to any military- or defence-related information but claimed she was in contact with some people, aware that they were Pakistani Intelligence Operatives . Police sources said she was in touch with Ehsan-ur-Rahim alias Danish, a staffer at the Pakistani High Commission, since November 2023. India expelled Danish on May 13 for allegedly indulging in espionage. The police have claimed Pakistani intelligence operatives were developing Malhotra as an asset. Punjab Police recently said Punjab-based YouTuber Jasbir Singh, who was arrested on espionage charges on June 4, was in close contact with Malhotra. Singh, who was found to be associated with a PIO, was in touch with a Pakistan High Commission official who was recently expelled from New Delhi on charges of spying and had met Pakistan Army officials during one of his three visits to the neighbouring country, Punjab Police said previously. After Malhotra's arrest, Singh attempted to erase all traces of his communications with these PIOs to avoid detection, Punjab Police added.
