All Hollyoaks spoilers for next week as exit is sealed amid unexpected return

Metro5 hours ago

There are big shocks in store for the residents of Hollyoaks as twists are aplenty, as confirmed in my brand new spoilers, in what promises to be yet another must-see week.
The Channel 4 soap has been delivering the drama with a capital D over the past few months and next week is set to be another big one, with bombshells, returns and disappearances on the cards.
Lucas Hay (Oscar Curtis) is set to have his heart broken once again by boyfriend Dillon Ray (Nathaniel Dass), who cheats on him after relapsing.
The situation proves upsetting for Lucas, who has been struggling with his anger over the past few weeks, as he lashes out.
Ste Hay (Kieron Richardson), meanwhile, pays Rex Gallagher (Jonny Labey) a visit behind bars, Bobby Costello's (Zak Sutcliffe) whereabouts is up in the air after that twist and Frankie Osborne (Isabelle Smith) bravely reveals her feelings for Jacob Omari (Ethaniel Davy).
With this week's offerings of Hollyoaks at an end, you might find yourself to know everything there is to know about what's coming up and if that is the case then I'm your guy, with a first look at all of next week's drama (well most of it, I'm not giving everything away!).
Dillon receives a message, which Lucas sees first, confirming the teen's STI results are clear. When Lucas tries to get intimate, Dillon gives him the cold shoulder and heads off.
He joins Frankie and Vicky, who are having drinks in the backyard of 67 Christleton Terrace. Frankie is upset, believing that Jacob is ghosting her – that is, until he turns up at the gate. Delighted, Frankie invites him in.
Vicky, meanwhile, tells Frankie that she wants to move forward and forget about Grace and Robbie.
However, she soon gets drunk and blurts out that she stole Clare's money and gave it to Robbie, admitting that she was also the one who attacked Grace.
Worried about her, Dillon and Frankie take Vicky back inside.
In the wake of the previous week's events, Bobby is missing. Myra is determined to make things right with Mercedes, claiming she was only speaking to Donny over the garden fence and didn't think about any repercussions.
The question is: just what is she supposed to have done?
Elsewhere, Tony is disheartened in the wake of Diane and Marie's showdown as he chats to Darren, who checks in on the building work at The Dog. Tony's attention is soon elsewhere when he puts two and two together, realising Bobby was being harboured by Mercedes in the pub.

Enraged, Tone confronts Mercedes, who begs him not to go to the police.
Over at the hospital, Clare visits Grace – who is still unconscious – and fills her sister in on all the devilish details of her new plan. It also becomes apparent that the schemer hasn't forgotten about how Mercedes ran her down and thus revenge is on her mind.
Dillon is spooked when Donny shares his theory on Rex being innocent in the investigation into who shot DI Banks. When the detective is distracted, Dillon steals the police report, which confirms the direction from which the bullet that claimed the dodgy copper's life came from.
Ergo, Dillon realises who shot the bullet in question!
Ste, meanwhile, also learns that Donny reckons Rex is innocent, whichfrustrates Lucas, who wishes his dad would forget all about Rex after what he did to Dillon.
Speaking of Dillon, the teen relapses. Lucas later walks in on his boyfriend sleeping with a girl and to make matters worse, Dillon refers to the young chef as his 'ex'.
Is this the end of HayRay?
And as for Ste, he manages to pay Rex a visit in prison. But will he get to the truth?
Darren, meanwhile, finds Jacob on the sofa and he's livid – that is until Frankie fills him in on the situation, with the patriarch subsequently apologising for his earlier reaction.
The teens tease Jacob and Frankie over their evident interest in one another. Once alone, Frankie bravely reveals her feelings for Jacob.
Will he feel the same? That remains to be seen as the boy receives a text message, which leads to him dashing off.

Interest piqued, Frankie gives chase, finding Jacob at a caravan. He states that he is living there and, worried, Frankie promises to bring him supplies.
Tony is saddened to learn that Diane has a date planned.
Ste returns home to find Lucas absolutely heartbroken in light of what he's just witnessed. Taking control of the situation, Ste puts Dillon to bed and proceeds to comfort his son, who is unable to stay at the flat.
As Ste attempts to support Dillon through his relapse, Lucas subsequently receives a message from his boyfriend, who says he's too messed up and that Lucas deserves better. More Trending
Unable to process all the trauma, Lucas begins to attack himself. Horrified, Ste intervenes, telling his son to take it out on him instead.

In shock scenes, Lucas brutally attacks his dad.
Misbah, meanwhile, encourages Vicky to move on. Vicky then comforts Dillon, unaware that he knows who killed Banks.

'Perfect' series compared to Black Mirror streaming free despite studio's controversial move

The show's star has spoken out against the decision A series that's been hailed as 'literally perfect' and likened to Black Mirror, which was subsequently 'deleted' by the original studio, is now available for free streaming. All episodes of Made For Love can be streamed on Channel 4 at no additional cost. This includes both seasons one and two, originally released between 2022 and 2023. ‌ Described by the broadcaster as a comedy-drama with a Black Mirror-esque vibe, the plot revolves around a woman who attempts to escape her stifling marriage. However, her tech tycoon husband has implanted a device in her brain, enabling him to monitor her every move and emotion. ‌ The lead role of Hazel in Made For Love is played by Cristin Milioti, known for her roles as the Mother in How I Met Your Mother and Sofia Falcone in The Penguin. She also featured in two acclaimed Black Mirror episodes, including USS Callister. The cast also boasts Ray Ramano, Paula Abdul and Billy Magnussen, known for his roles in Boardwalk Empire and the Lilo and Stitch remake, reports Surrey Live. Despite garnering a dedicated fanbase and achieving an impressive score of 97% on Rotten Tomatoes, the series was cancelled after its second season. Moreover, the US studio behind it decided to 'delete' the show from its own platforms. The move resulted in the show no longer being available to US viewers, with Warner Bros pulling it from HBO Max - a surprising call considering the platform had originally commissioned it. It's thought this move was financially driven and Milioti herself recently voiced her discontent on a podcast. In an interview with Marc Maron for the WTF Podcast, she expressed: "It's so f**ked up. That happened because, umm, we were a tax write-off. I did it for Max... I just know that they ripped it off the platform... like when they ripped Westworld off. And it's such a bummer because, you know, that was three years of our lives." ‌ Milioti continued to share her thoughts: "There are so many parts of that show that have become like eerily prescient. It was all about people in this world of like advanced technology and utterly unable to communicate with each other. You can't even buy it. It's so weird... I'm also like... it's like on a USB stick somewhere probably. Just put it up." However, Milioti might not be aware that Channel 4 offers UK viewers a chance to rediscover this hidden gem, with many devotees eagerly advocating for others to watch it. One viewer took to the internet to voice their praise: "This show is literally perfect. A MUST WATCH dare I say. The casting of the actors, the dark comedy, the premise and the concept regarding the future of love was done so well. And also the pacing was very good I might add, none of the scenes seemed to drag. A perfect binge. I was hooked from the first scene. The show kept up the intrigue and the comic relief, while also maintaining emotional depth. Billy Magnussen and Cristin Milioti's acting skills: spot on." Another fan chimed in, expressing admiration for its uniqueness: "This is one of the most original shows I've seen in a long time. The pacing and execution is perfect. The different dynamics they explore tow the line of brevity and weight in such a beautiful way while still having a great balance of comedy. I'm so excited about this show." On the topic of how it stands out despite similarities to other programmes, a third individual shared their viewpoint: "I was hooked from the first seconds of watching. I personally think that Billy Magnussen is a highly underrated actor so I was elated when I saw he was starring. He's great in it just as I figured he would be .This show is not like all the others being churned out right now. I'm so sick of everything being so similar that they are al just looking and feeling the same to me at this point. Made for Love is an original in a time of not much originality. I love it!"

Emmerdale fans 'work out' who will catch John out - and it's not Robert

As the latest in a long line of evil villains, Emmerdale's John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth) has wreaked havoc on the eponymous village, leaving chaos in his wake. But if there's one thing we've learned from his predecessors it's that the justice will prevail – eventually -meaning John will inevitably get his comeuppance at some stage in the future. With Robert (Ryan Hawley) back and vying for Aaron Dingle's (Danny Miller) affection, fans were convinced for a time that the popular character would play an instrumental role in the killer's downfall. However, a recent scene has poured cold water on that theory, with another Emmerdale favourite officially in the mix regarding who will take down the murderer with a hero complex. I am of course referring to Caleb Miligan (William Ash). To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video With John having assisted in the cover-up of the murder of Anthony Fox (Nicholas Day) – who was killed by Ruby Fox-Milligan (Beth Cordingly) – Caleb was incredibly grateful to him for what he did. John, as we all know, loves to play the hero, and therefore, he lapped up Caleb's gratitude, delighted that the Dingles were so appreciative of his efforts. However, with Robert back in town, John's anxiety is spiralling out of control, with the killer fearful that his long-lost brother will swoop back in and whisk one true love Aaron – who John married last month – off his feet again. Caleb, meanwhile, decided to offer Robert a job, thus giving him another reason to stay in the village. Desperate to get rid of Robert, John resorted to blackmail, urging Caleb to sack the returnee, making reference to how he assisted with getting rid of Anthony. It takes a lot to spook Caleb but it was quite clear that he didn't like being put in such a position by someone he thought he could trust. With Joe Tate (Ned Porteous) having promised to keep his mouth shut and Ruby officially in the clear with the police, Caleb thought the Anthony nightmare was over – but the John development could prove otherwise. That is, unless he deals with the problem himself? More Trending Fans certainly reckon that this could be what's coming. Fan Niall wrote on X: 'The mask slips John. Blackmailing Caleb is going to be a key to his downfall.' Fellow user @WareNext said: 'Caleb has a backup plan!!!! Please… have a backup plan. John's getting itchy feet', while Jehan wrote that they hope John blackmailing Caleb will 'come back to bite him'. Nikki Sanderson in tears as she recalls moment mum 'died' in front of her

Coronation Street and Hollyoaks actress Nikki Sanderson has opened up about the moment her mum suffered two cardiac arrests at home and her brother performed CPR which helped save her life Emotional Nikki Sanderson has recalled the moment her beloved mum collapsed in front of her and her brother. The 41-year-old Hollyoaks and Coronation Street actress never had to perform CPR before until Jude suffered two cardiac arrests in November 2021. ‌ Nikki and Jude recorded a special film for BBC Morning Live, which aired during Wednesday's (June 25) episode, following the news that around 80 per cent of cardiac arrests happen at home. ‌ Speaking about the horrific moment almost four years on, the actress explained: "I remember screaming to the operator, just begging 'please help us'. We knew she'd gone but we desperately wanted her to come back." Audio from the frantic 999 call played which featured Nikki, Nikki's brother James and Nikki's boyfriend Anthony Quinlan, who played Pete Barton in Emmerdale. The TV personality, best known for her roles as Maxine Minniver in Hollyoaks and Candice Steow in Corrie, burst into tears as she listened back to the call handler telling them exactly what to do in a bid to save her mum's life. The paramedic team quickly arrived and manage to save Jude's life thanks to Nikki's brother performing CPR on Jude. ‌ Later in the film, Nikki met up with paramedic Howard Wolfenden, who was first on the scene, to discuss the terrifying situation she found herself in. Howard reassured Nikki: "For you guys to do that CPR meant your mum's chance of survival chances had just gone up exponentially." Jude and Nikki went to meet Howard for a CPR refresher course where he explained exactly what to do if they ever needed to perform it again. ‌ Nikki's mum Jude said: "I'm so thankful that everybody on that night pulled together and fought for me. I just wish everybody would learn CPR." Before appearing on Morning Live, Nikki shared a clip from the film on her Instagram page. She wrote: "In 2021, my mum suffered two cardiac arrests and died in front of me and my brother. "Thanks to CPR and the incredible paramedics not giving up, she is still alive today. I've made a film about what happened and the importance of CPR with @bbcmorninglive and it's on tomorrow morning from 9:30am. "Knowing CPR and what to do in a situation like this could just save a loved one's life… tune into @ bbc one or watch on @bbciplayer."
