Summary
In a dazzling new chapter of their long-standing creative partnership, renowned New York jewelerAlex Mosshas crafted an extraordinary, one-of-a-kind chain forTyler, the Creator. This bespoke design, which marks a bold departure from Moss's typical, iced-out creations, is entirely solid gold, deeply personal, and unlike anything he has ever produced.
The story of this collaboration is a testament to a relationship built on mutual respect. Tyler was Alex Moss's very first VIP client, and as he geared up for the rollout of his new album,Don't Tap the Glass, he issued a clear brief: 'go left field.' The resulting jewelry set is a masterclass in unexpected elegance—all 18K yellow gold, bold, and disruptive.
The design pulls inspiration from the classic jewelry silhouettes of the '90s, featuring a massive Byzantine chain link and an oversized rope chain link. The rope chain is featured prominently on theDon't Tap the Glassalbum cover, making it an instant icon. Both of these powerful chains are secured with custom AMNY 18K yellow gold locks, showcasing a meticulous attention to detail.
At the heart of the setup is a custom, Saint Lazarus-style pendant, a staple of hip-hop jewelry history. Tyler, however, has infused this cultural symbol with his own irreverent twist, reimagining it with his own likeness at the center. This personalization brings a fresh, modern energy to a deeply traditional design.
This entire vision was born from in-person creative sessions between Tyler and Alex Moss in New York City, reinforcing the collaborative spirit that defines their synergy. The resulting piece is a true work of art, a stunning fusion of '90s nostalgia, hip-hop history, and Tyler, the Creator's unique and boundary-pushing vision.

Tyler, The Creator sets Outside Lands ablaze with high-energy set and new album

Tyler, The Creator brought the full force of his creative evolution to San Francisco's Golden Gate Park, delivering a kinetic, no-frills performance at Outside Lands that traced the arc of his career while celebrating the explosive release of his new album, 'Don't Tap the Glass.' Emerging onto an elevated platform emblazoned with the album's title — no elaborate set design, just bursts of fire and a barrage of lights — Tyler wasted no time setting the tone on the second night of the festival, Saturday, Aug. 9. 'I love that you all love me so much,' he told the crowd. He launched his set with the high-voltage 'Big Poe' and 'Sugar on My Tongue,' two standout tracks from 'Don't Tap the Glass,' which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 last month. The rapper's 21-song set, part of his Chromakopia: The World Tour was a genre-agnostic blur of deep cuts and fan favorites. He weaved between eras with ease — from the maximalist chaos of 'Rah Tah Tah' and 'Sticky' to the emotional resonance of 'See You Again' and the eerie calm of 'Are We Still Friends?' Wearing oversized glasses and a towering 'Glass' belt buckle, Tyler channeled old-school hip-hop aesthetics while pushing new musical boundaries. 'This album was not made for sitting still … any type of movement is recommended to maybe understand the spirit of it. Only at full volume,' he previously shared on Instagram.

The annual Outside Lands festival is underway at Golden Gate Park, launching a weekend of live music, good eats and immersive cultural programming expected to draw hundreds of thousands to San Francisco's west side. Now marking its 17th edition, the three-day event Friday-Sunday, Aug. 8-10, will feature more than 110 artists across seven stages, with performances beginning each day starting at noon. This year's headliners are Doja Cat, Tyler, the Creator and Hozier, respectively, joined by a wide-ranging lineup that includes Anderson .Paak & The Free Nationals, Vampire Weekend, Jamie xx, Glass Animals and Gracie Abrams. The festival's economic impact is expected to exceed $70 million, according to organizers. In addition to the music, Outside Lands offers food from a slate of local Bay Area restaurants, showcasing global cuisines by regional chefs. Visitors will also find art installations, a cannabis marketplace, drag performances and after-hours shows at venues throughout the city. Festivalgoers are encouraged to use public transit, bike parking or official shuttle services departing from downtown San Francisco to avoid traffic congestion in the surrounding neighborhoods. There is no on-site vehicle parking. A strict bag policy is in place, with only clear bags, small purses and empty hydration packs allowed inside festival gates. Standard backpacks and non-clear bags are prohibited. Those unable to attend the outdoor event in person can stream select festival performances live on Prime Video and the Amazon Music Twitch channel, beginning each day at 1:30 p.m. Friday's performances include Beck, Doechii and John Summit, with a forecast calling for mild conditions and intermittent fog — classic San Francisco summer weather. Check back for highlights throughout the weekend.

‘Wednesday' Season 2 Part 1: Is Wednesday Really Dead?

Contains major spoilers for Wednesday season 2! Wednesday season 2 part 1 has just dropped on Netflix and we may or may not have binged the first four hours in one sitting. And oh my god, we were not prepared for that major cliffhanger of an ending. The new season reunites us with the Addams family, led by Wednesday (Jenna Ortega) as she returns for a second year at outcast school Nevermore Academy. As the term progresses she unmasks her stalker, fights to save Enid's (Emma Myers) life, loses her psychic powers, and investigates a terrible scheme going on at local psychiatric hospital Willow Hill. And as episode four wraps up, we see Wednesday and Uncle Fester (Fred Armisen) discover a secret bunker in Willow Hill called LOIS that has housed a number of outcasts believed to be dead, but instead they've actually been experimented on. As Wednesday and Uncle Fester release them, Tyler the Hyde (Hunter Doohan) is also released and goes on a rampage to find Wednesday. The episode ends with Tyler attacking Wednesday and throwing her out of a window, leaving her for dead. Wednesday can survive a lot, but could she be dead? Here's everything we know, ahead of the second drop of episodes in September. As the episode ends, it seems that Wednesday really is close to death. Tyler has left her with significant injuries and quite literally threw her out of a window. She then gives a voiceover essentially confirming her death, where she says: 'I've always dreamed of looking death in the face. But in my final moments, all I hear is my mother's words ringing in my ears. Maybe I have made things worse. Much worse.' However, the show is literally called Wednesday and has already been renewed for a third season, so from a practical point of view it makes zero sense to kill the character Wednesday off. And there's an ambulance on the way and we know her family has access to all kinds of powers that are likely to put a stop to death. We've also seen Wednesday overcome some pretty serious injuries in the past, so we have no doubt she's likely to make a full recovery. The last time Wednesday was close to death, it was after Wednesday was stabbed by Miss Thornhill (Christina Ricci). However, her spirit guide Goody sacrificed herself at the end of season 1, saving her life. Maybe this is the time for someone from beyond the grave to come and save her? We wouldn't be surprised, though, if we do get an episode told from Wednesday's point of view where she's temporarily exploring the underworld. Either way, we're 98% sure Wednesday is still alive. We'll find out for sure on 3rd September when the second batch of episodes drop.
