Royal Enfield Sales May 2025: YoY Sales Analysis
Royal Enfield, known for its popular 350 cc models, including the Classic 350, Bullet 350, Hunter 350, and Meteor 350, sold 76,492 units in May 2025, up from 59,852 units sold in May of the previous year. In the first two months of this financial year, Royal Enfield sold a total of 150,774 units in this segment, which is a 14 percent increase from 132,718 units sold during the same time last year.
Royal Enfield Classic 350
For motorcycles with engine capacities over 350 cc, Royal Enfield offers models like the Classic 650, the Scram 440, the Bear 650, Guerrilla 450, Shotgun 650, Himalayan, Super Meteor 650, Interceptor 650, and Continental GT. In May, they sold 12,937 units in this category, up 16 percent from 11,158 units in May of the year prior. In total, for April and May 2025, they sold 25,214 motorcycles, a 25 percent increase from 20,162 units sold during the same two months last year.
In May 2025, Royal Enfield sold 89,429 units globally, a 26 percent increase from 71,010 units in May 2024. In the first two months of the fiscal year, total sales reached 175,988 units, up 15 percent from 152,880 units last year.
Exports also grew in May 2025, with 13,609 units shipped overseas 82 percent increase from 7,479 units in May 2024. For April and May combined, the company exported 24,166 units, a 69 percent increase from 14,311 units last year.

As per the spy images, the GT-R 750 seems to borrow much of its design inspiration from the Continental GT 650. However, the fairings make it look more like the GT-R 650 used in the GT Cup Racing. The Royal Enfield Continental GT-R 750 is also seen standing on an alloy wheel, suggesting that the brand might offer tubeless alloy wheels as standard. Also, the GT-R 750's earlier spy shots carried emission testing equipment. However, the recently spotted test mule benched any such equipment, suggesting that the GT-R 750 is in the final stages of testing. The motorcycle is likely to see the addition of a few new features, maybe in terms of electronic rider aids, as previously spotted test mule showed a circular instrument console, similar to the ones seen on the Himalayan and the Guerrilla 450. Also, the Royal Enfield Continental GT-750 test mule was spotted with a twin-disc brake setup at the front, which will offer better stopping power and is likely required since the parallel-twin engine will now have more output than the 648 cc unit, which makes 47 hp and 52 Nm. Royal Enfield has increased prices for the tubeless spoke wheels on the Himalayan 450 for new buyers. The tubeless cross-spoke wheels on the Royal Enfield Himalayan are now priced at ₹17,350, compared to the original launch price of ₹11,224. Notably, the bike maker recently increased the cross-spoke wheel prices for the existing Himalayan 450 owners from ₹12,424 to ₹40,645. New buyers will now pay a difference of ₹ 4,926 on the tubeless wheels, albeit the difference is not as significant as the one existing Royal Enfield Himalayan buyers will have to shell out. Royal Enfield Himalayan Tubeless Cross-Spoke Wheels Get More Expensive Royal Enfield introduced its cross-spoke tubeless wheels at a remarkably affordable price, which attracted several new and existing customers to bring them home. However, the competitive pricing seems to have only benefitted early-bird buyers. The updated price for the cross-spokes is now listed on the Royal Enfield MIY configurator and represents an additional cost over the ex-showroom price of the motorcycle. New buyers will now pay a difference of ₹4,926 on the tubeless wheels, albeit the difference is not as significant as the one existing Himalayan buyers will have to shell out. Triumph recently introduced tubeless cross-spoke wheels with the Scrambler 400 XC. The motorcycle commands a ₹27,000 premium over the standard Scrambler 400 X, which brings a new paint scheme, better underbelly protection, and the new tubeless spoked wheels.
