Motocross 2025 250 results, highlights, finish at Thunder Valley: Haiden Deegan completes third sweep
At High Point Raceway in Mount Morris, Pennsylvania, Haiden Deegan swept the weekend motos for the third time this season to extend his Pro Motocross and SuperMotocross Championship points lead. Deegan swept the first two weekends, but last week, Chance Hymas reset the bar with a perfect weekend. Not to be outdone, Deegan led all 33 laps of the two races, but failed to match Hymas' feat of earning both holeshots.
Nate Thrasher earned the holeshot in Moto 1; Tom Vialle held that distinction in Moto 2.
Of primary importance was the championship standings. Deegan now holds a 42-point lead over Jo Shimoda in Pro Motocross and a 100-point advantage over him in the combined SuperMotocross 250 standings.

Vialle has had an erratic season, and when he finished fourth in Moto 1, it appeared that would continue into the High Point weekend. He lost the lead in the second race, but firmly held onto a podium position and passed Hymas for second on the final lap. With those results, Vialle earned his second Nationals podium of 2025 after finishing 4-3 for third overall in the season opener in Pala, California.
Levi Kitchen was third overall at High Point, but it was a tale of two motos. He rode to a solid second-place finish in Moto 1 before struggling to finish sixth in the second race. Fortunately for him, the next three riders were equally erratic.
Relive Moto 1
Hymas had a strong start to his weekend with fast times in both qualification sessions, but he failed to live up to expectations when the gate dropped. A horrible start of 13th in Moto 1 forced him to ride through the pack, and he showed speed by climbing to fifth. He slotted into second on Lap 1 of Moto 2, but never seriously challenged the leader and lost that position with one lap remaining.
Fifth place belonged to Garrett Marchbanks. No one would have given low odds for that happening after he finished seventh in Moto 1, but his fourth-place finish in the second race tied him in points with Shimoda. Marchbanks finished one position ahead of the Japanese rider to earn the tiebreaker.
Shimoda showed consistency with a 6-5 to finish just outside the top five in sixth.
Seth Hammaker had a solid start to the afternoon with his podium finish (third) in Moto 1. He faded in the second race and finished 14th, spoiling what had been a strong day.

Motocross 2025 450 results, highlights, finish at High Point: Jett Lawrence wins overall, Eli Tomac Moto 2
Jett Lawrence and Eli Tomac split the motos at High Point Raceway in Mount Morris, Pennsylvania, but a dominant performance in the first race by Jett as Tomac struggled made the difference in the overall. Jett scored his fourth Motocross win of the season and continues to race virtually unchallenged in the outdoor series. The Moto 2 gate drop and rain fell at the same time, which did what the riders have been unable to. Challenged by conditions, Jett tiptoed through the first corner and was running as low as 10th on Lap 1. He slowly worked his way through the field until he found his comfort level and then methodically picked off the competition. Persistent roost in the first seven laps forced Jett to use all of his tear-offs with a quarter of the scheduled distance remaining. That might have required him to pull into the pits for a goggle change, had it not been for a red flag that waved with seven minutes still on the clock. Jett moved into the third position with one lap to spare, and combined with his Moto 1 win, he scored the overall victory by one point. Jett finished four seconds ahead of Aaron Plessinger and 12 seconds ahead of Justin Cooper, so his third-place result might have been in question if he was forced to pit. Finishing second in both motos, Hunter had enough points to score the overall victory until the final credited lap, when Jett passed Plessinger to score one point more than Hunter. After finishing fifth in the Hangtown Motocross Classic and the Thunder Valley Nationals, Hunter was undoubtedly pleased to be back on the podium. Tomac rocketed to the lead as the rain fell on Moto 2 and rode unchallenged until lightning shortened the race. His fifth-place finish in the first moto came back to haunt him in the overall, especially when he reflected on finishing one second out of third. With those two positions, Tomac would have scored the overall on a tiebreaker. This is the same podium fans saw in the season opener at Fox Raceway. Relive Moto 1 Plessinger kept his streak of moto top-fives alive with a third-place result in Moto 1 and fourth in Moto 2. He took the lead in the first race when Jett stalled his bike, but lost pace in the closing laps after pressing hard to keep up with Jett. Cooper also swept the top five in his two High Point races with results of fourth in Moto 1 and fifth in Moto 2. If he continues to put himself in a position to win, he could capitalize if Jett ever stumbles. Razgatlioglu seals Misano hat-trick as Rea crashes
Reigning World Superbike champion Toprak Razgatlioglu completed a hat-trick of victories at Misano by winning the second feature race. The BMW rider, 28, also won Saturday's opening race and Sunday's Superpole sprint race. Advertisement From pole position, Razgatlioglu dominated the third and final race of the weekend to move within nine points of championship leader Nicolo Bulega. The Turk will transfer to the MotoGP series in 2026, having signed a deal to ride a Yamaha for Prima Pramac Racing. From starting 10th on the grid, Italian Bulega finished almost 10 seconds behind, with Ducati team-mate Alvaro Bautista in third place. Northern Ireland's six-time champion Jonathan Rea was running in ninth position when he crashed out with 12 laps remaining. Razgatlioglu won the Superpole race earlier, which set the grid for the second feature race, ahead of England's Alex Lowes and Yamaha's Andrea Locatelli. Rea, who missed the opening three rounds of the season through injury, was seventh, while Bulega was taken out in a crash with Axel Bassani.
