The film's first week haul stood at an impressive Rs 172.75 crore, and thanks to strong word of mouth and repeat viewings, Saiyaara continued to dominate screens even in its second weekend. On it's second Friday the film earned Rs 18 crore and till 2 PM on Saturday it added another Rs 6.56 crore, thus taking the total to Rs 197.31 crore and counting.
Saiyaara is being hailed as the kind of old-school emotional love story that Bollywood hasn't seen in years.
The chemistry between Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda has struck a chord with audiences, while the haunting title track has gone viral across platforms.
