The little black dress is working overtime this week. On May 28, Hailey Bieber celebrated Rhode Skin's billion-dollar deal in a strapless mini custom-made by Saint Laurent. Just 24 hours later, Taylor Swift made her grand return to New York City in an on-brand Dôen dress—her favorite label for enviable evenings out. And now, Dakota Johnson is following their lead.
Marking her first A-list affair since the 2025 Cannes Film Festival, the Materialists actor jumped on the LBD bandwagon in New York City. To celebrate her new global brand ambassadorship at Roberto Coin, the Italian jeweler hosted an invite-only soirée in her honor. While en route to Manhattan's Cipriani 25 Broadway, Johnson was all smiles in her latest LBD, courtesy of Ferragamo. With help from her longtime stylist, Kate Young, the fashion muse got her hands on the Italian label's floor-length noir number. If you look closely enough, you'll see the stretched viscose is draped delicately at the bust. This subtle gathering added some variation to the otherwise sleek, column silhouette.

For her footwear, Johnson sourced Ferragamo once more. She chose the eccentric Eva Pump, beloved by Jennifer Lawrence, Zoë Saldana, Hailey Bieber, Keke Palmer, and Tracee Ellis Ross. While it's available in red, green, pale pink, ivory, and burgundy (to name a few color-ways), the Fifty Shades of Grey actor went with the classic black pair.

Thanks to her new partnership with Roberto Coin, Johnson frosted herself in diamonds galore, most notably an intricate choker necklace. All eyes went to the brilliant-cut diamonds, which were accented by striking pear-shaped sapphires toward the chain.
But wait—the sparkles didn't stop there. An oversized cocktail ring, also from Roberto Coin, complemented her necklace. Available for $25,500, it featured a timeless combination of blue sapphire, iolite, and diamonds. The statement piece has made its rounds among the Hollywood set. Leslie Mann wore the same ring at the 2018 Academy Awards alongside a red ballgown from Zac Posen.
Just a few hours after Johnson was spotted in NYC, her first campaign for Roberto Coin, captured by Craig McDean, dropped online. In it, the actor frolicks around Venice in the LBD's whimsical younger sister: a flowy, little white dress. She showcased the jeweler's Venetian Princess - Pirouette collection, most notably an 18k gold, mother-of-pearl flower necklace, which rings in at $20,600.
Now that Johnson's ambassadorship with Roberto Coin is public knowledge, it's only a matter of time before she sports the brand again. The release date of her upcoming romantic drama, Materialists is coming up on June 13. Keep an eye out for Roberto Coin's glittering offerings alongside her next promo 'fits.

Amal Clooney Channeled Rita Hayworth With Bouncy Waves at the 2025 Tony Awards
All products featured on Glamour are independently selected by Glamour editors. However, when you buy something through our retail links, Condé Nast may earn an affiliate there's one thing Amal Clooney is going to do, she's going to show up with some of the best glam at any event. From gala looks to her recent Cannes Film Festival dress-code-breaking style, Clooney goes all out on the red carpet—and looks good doing it. And her appearance at the Tony Awards was no different. At this year's 78th annual Tony Awards, held at Radio City Music Hall in New York City on June 8, Clooney walked the red carpet in an Old Hollywood–style pearl-adorned dress with a big, glam blowout to match. Though she was there to support husband George Clooney, who was nominated for best performance by an actor in a leading role in a play for his performance as Edward Murrow in Good Night, and Good Luck (it was also his Broadway debut!), Amal Clooney really stole the show. We've been saying that super-long waves are back for the season, and based on last night's look, it looks as though Clooney is on board with it too. Channeling 1940s actor Rita Hayworth, celebrity hairstylist and colorist Dimitris Giannetos created her glamorous look for the evening. 'Inspired by the pearls [on her dress] and Old Hollywood dress, I wanted to give her classic Rita Hayworth glam,' Giannetos said in a press release. And that he did: Clooney walked the carpet with big, bouncy, and loose waves, showing off some bronde highlights to brighten things up around her face. Her hair's slight side part further let her inner Rita Hayworth shine through. To get the look, he 'started with towel-dried hair and blow-dried it using a round brush to create volume,' Giannetos explained in the release. Then, 'I placed her hair in rollers and let them set.' He left the rollers in until her makeup was done. The longer you leave hair rollers in, the curlier your hair will look and the longer-lasting the waves will be. 'Once makeup was done, I removed the rollers and brushed out her hair using a paddle brush,' Giannetos further explained. 'To hold the style and keep everything frizz-free for the red carpet, I finished with plenty of L'Oréal Paris Elnett Hairspray.' He didn't say exactly which Elnett spray he used, but we love the original scented version of the hairspray (if you want to wear a perfume or hair mist, opt for the unscented one). $16.00, Amazon Usually celebs have separate hair and makeup artists to do their glam before an event, but Clooney kept things streamlined and simple for the Tony Awards. Giannetos was on double duty last night—not only did he create that Old Hollywood hair, but he also did her makeup in between. So while her hair was setting in rollers, he went in with Charlotte Tilbury products to complete the vintage glam look. 'The vibe we were going for was a soft Old Hollywood glamour with neutral coral tones,' Giannetos said in the release. After her skin was prepped with products, including editor-loved Charlotte's Magic Cream, he used Unreal Skin Sheer Glow Tint Hydrating Foundation and Airbrush Flawless Setting Spray, among other makeup products, for a radiant, healthy glow that lasted Clooney all night. $38.00, Nordstrom $65.00, Sephora Catharine Malzahn is the contributing associate beauty editor at Glamour. Watch Orlando Bloom's dog Biggie Smalls crash his 'Today' interview: 'Only on live TV!'
Orlando Bloom's Today show interview was briefly paw-sed on Monday by his adorable teacup poodle, Biggie Smalls. The 48-year-old Lord of the Rings alum was in the middle of discussing his decades-long film career with co-anchor Savannah Guthrie when Biggie made his presence known by repeatedly barking offscreen. 'Oh my God, we have to introduce somebody,' Bloom said, quickly scanning the studio for his dog. 'He's looking for attention.' Guthrie agreed that they needed to 'pause the interview' to properly address the pup, who could be seen happily sitting in the arms of Materialists star Dakota Johnson. 'Your dog has found his new owner,' Guthrie teased. Turning to Johnson, Bloom replied, 'Oh my God! I can't believe it. Are you gonna take him?' Johnson was fully on board with the idea. 'He's mine,' she agreed. Bloom added, 'Dakota is stealing the dog. I love it.' Bloom confirmed that his adorable furry friend tags along with him everywhere he goes. 'Normally he keeps quiet as a mouse, so there you go,' he said. 'He's having separation anxiety!' But Biggie wasn't done stealing the show just yet. When Guthrie and Bloom attempted to switch gears back to their interview, the dog began barking for his dad once again. 'Should we bring Biggie over?' Guthrie asked the Pirates of the Caribbean actor. 'Biggie, come over because I have a serious question.' Johnson then carried the dog across the studio as her Materialist costar Chris Evans gleefully watched the scene unfold from the Today couch. 'Do you love dogs?' Guthrie asked her, to which the actress responded, 'I'm just the babysitter. I'm just the nanny.' She then passed Biggie over to Bloom, who sat down with the dog and gave him some much-needed pets. 'Thank you, Dakota. I love it,' Bloom said. 'Only on live TV.' Biggie, who Bloom described as his 'emotional support animal,' barked a third time during a conversation about Bloom's upcoming boxing film, The Cut. 'Oh my God, Biggie never barks,' Bloom confessed. 'He's really enjoying his moment.' Guthrie, in response, playfully called the dog a 'diva,' adding, 'Okay, we see you, Biggie. He is, honestly though. He's got a face for stardom.' Bloom agreed. 'He does have a pretty cute face, he's gonna steal the show,' he said. 'I love it.' Watch Biggie's big moment in the clip above. Read the original article on Entertainment Weekly
