31 "Beloved" Celebs People Think Are Actually Terrible
A while back, Reddit user brody0628 asked, "What is a celebrity everyone loves but you think is insufferable?" and people had some stronggggg opinions. Here are celebrities they think are actually bad people — along with some responses from the BuzzFeed Community and this Reddit thread. "Nick Cannon. The fact that the internet makes jokes about how many kids he has or tries to paint him as a good father because he takes his kids to Disney World is disgusting! He couldn't even remember the names of all his kids when asked. Most, if not all, of his kids are going to grow up having no relationship with him." "John Lennon. I know he's been dead for 40 years, but man, he was such a shit person." "John Stamos. He looks like a wax museum version of himself and it seems like his ego is as big as his Disney collection." —jessethecowgirlStamos also once told a story about convincing a woman she was having sex with him when it was really his friend:"[In the mid-eighties] I was in a band. I was playing somewhere in Finland, and there was a girl hanging around who was really drunk and interested in me. I wasn't into her, but my friend was. So the girl came back to my hotel, and I turned the lights down, and we started making out. I said, 'Hold on a second, I've gotta go brush my teeth.' It was dark, I left the room, and I sent in my friend who looked like me. And she thought she was having sex with me, but she was really having sex with my friend."Suggested by jeramoo "Whoopi. She's the boomerest boomer to ever exist. Has no empathy for younger generations and is constantly telling struggling millennials/Gen Z people they don't have it that bad." "Jackie Chan: Hong Kong-born but pro-Beijing. That's enough for me." "Brad Pitt isn't the stand-up guy he portrays! Maybe it was the story about him ... [allegedly] being abusive to his wife in front of his children that turned me off. Definitely not something a nice guy would do!" —quizzydog27 [Editor's note: You can read more about the plane assault allegations here, but Jolie did eventually drop the lawsuit. Pitt has denied there was any physical violence.]Pitt also dated Juliette Lewis when she was 17, and he was a decade by re89245 "I've disliked Jimmy Fallon since his SNL days when it felt like he'd break character in a sketch to get a bigger laugh. Ruffling Donald Trump's hair during his interview pretty much turned me off of him for good." —rachelc43 "Far worse is Jimmy Kimmel — he 'pranks' his family on his show, but they all seem to really hate it. I had to stop watching him during the Trump presidency because all he could do on his show was make 'fat jokes.' Trump does a million wild things; stop making the same cringey and offensive jokes from the early '90s! And if you have any doubts, look up The Man Show — absolutely horrific." —bric4349cd9f2 "Owen Wilson, a seemingly good dad to his sons, [is allegedly a] deadbeat father to his daughter: he underwent a paternity test, still refuses to meet her, and just threw money at her (he dated the child's mother on and off for five years)." —bigfinsquidWilson has not responded to these claims beyond a rep saying, 'This is a private matter, and it's not appropriate to comment further.' "Not to speak ill of the dead, but Kobe and the whole rape allegation. ... Not sure why people are so wild about him." "Matthew Broderick. Another example of rich people just not having to face consequences. For anyone that doesn't know, In 1987, he was driving during a head-on collision with another car, which killed a mother and daughter. He paid the equivalent of $175 and served no time." "Jerry Seinfeld. So many people seem to love him, and his show was wildly successful, but I can't stand him at all." "Steven Tyler, for [allegedly] convincing parents to sign a 14-year-old over to him. Then ... dumping her back on their doorstep at 17." —metal_jesterSome more info: Tyler actually admitted to having sex with a minor in his memoir. 'She was 16, she knew how to nasty, and there wasn't a hair on it," Tyler wrote. He was 26 at the time. He also wrote, 'Her parents fell in love with me, signed a paper over for me to have custody, so I wouldn't get arrested if I took her out of state. I took her on tour." It's likely that Tyler is referring to Julia Holcomb, who sued him in 2022 for sexual assault, sexual battery, and intentional infliction of emotional distress back in the '70s. She says that Tyler persuaded her mother to sign over guardianship to him. Holcomb also says in court documents that she became pregnant and Tyler made her have an though not directly named in the suit, denied these claims, said their relationship was consensual, and claimed immunity because he was her legal guardian then, calling for the suit to be dismissed. Similarly..."I always find it weird that Anthony Kiedis from The Red Hot Chili Peppers admitted to having sex with a child in his autobiography, and barely a word is said about it." —bgar1432Some more info: Anthony Kiedis of the Red Hot Chili Peppers wrote about having sex with a 14-year-old in his autobiography Scar Tissue. The girl — who reportedly inspired the song "Catholic School Girls Rule" — came backstage at his concert, and the two had sex. According to Keidis, she then continued on with the band to Baton Rouge. After their show, the girl revealed that she was 14 and her father was the chief of police in her town, adding that "the entire state of Louisiana" was looking for her because she'd been reported said he wasn't scared "because, in my somewhat deluded mind, I knew that if she told the chief of police she was in love with me, he wasn't going to have me taken out to a field and shot, but I did want to get her the hell back home right away. So we had sex one more time.' He was in his mid-20s at the time. "Prince. He met his ex-wife when she was sixteen (and later declared he knew he was going to marry her right then) and then put her on birth control at nineteen after they had 'a really deep friendship' (yeah right) for three years." "[According to her,] he later made her do an interview soon after their son died, threw that son's ashes away, ... and dumped her by the time she was 26. I love the man's music, but I wish people would talk more about the hell he put Mayte Garcia through."—ToasterGuacamoleWrap "John Mulaney. He was so funny and really killing it. But what he did to his ex-wife is so terrible." —prodigalpunSome more info: Mulaney filed for divorce from Anna Marie Tendler in July 2021, after which point she released a statement reading that she was "heartbroken that John has decided to end [their] marriage." It was reported they'd broken up in February 2021, though Mulaney later claimed he'd asked for a divorce in October 2020. In September 2021, Mulaney revealed that he had been dating Olivia Munn since the spring (right off the heels of his time in rehab), and that Munn was pregnant with their child, despite the fact that Mulaney had been open about not wanting children. Mulaney has since credited Munn and their child in his recovery journey. "Doja Cat has been problematic. Even before she blew up commercially, she was being accused of racism — against Black people. Ngl, I like some of her songs, but there's a lot of mental dissociation involved for me. Sometimes I don't like being aware of this shit because this is why we can't have nice things." —pbbtDoja denied participating in racist conversations and apologized for her behavior in chat rooms when she was younger. "Oprah was basically the O.G. Jerry Springer and pioneered that genre of shock-garbage-emotional-manipulation TV. Now she's interviewing Prince Harry like she's Barbara fucking Walters or something. I don't get it." "Nicki Minaj, and thankfully everyone's finally starting to get it. All this information came out back in, like, 2021, and it somehow got swept under the rug. I never got good feelings from her." "Drake is creepy, the way he befriends young teen girls! That's a weird thing for a grown ass man to do." "I can't stand Kevin Hart. He's not funny, and his stand-up shows are forced laughter in a nutshell." "Tom Cruise. Scientology." "Gwyneth Paltrow. She can Goop right outta here." "Julia Roberts." "Fred Armisen. Of that SNL era I like pretty much everyone else; he just deeply skeeves me out for some reason." "Bill Murray. I don't hate him, but for some reason the internet thinks he is God's gift to comedy. He's alright, but he's nowhere close to the idol that the internet makes him out to be." "I know I'll get hate for this but Jim Carrey. I find the guy totally obnoxious! He seems like he's got one schtick and that's all he knows." "Leonardo DiCaprio. He seems like such a creep." "Paul Walker. He...[reportedly] dated a 16-year-old in his 30s." "Johnny Depp. I think he's overhyped. Used to be a fan, but the last decade he lost his shine for me." And finally, "Drew Barrymore." What "beloved" celebrity do you think is actually a bad person? Let us know in the comments.

7 most comfortable bras our editors tried that outperform the competition
New York Post may be compensated and/or receive an affiliate commission if you click or buy through our links. Featured pricing is subject to change. I've been wearing bras for more than a decade, and I'm still on the quest to find the most comfortable one. You think I'd have this all figured out by now, right? It makes sense, as I've been cycling through the best wireless styles, the best strapless bras and everything that can slip under my loungewear (think: sports bras and bralettes). Allow me to get into some TMI business here (after all, you are reading a guide to the most comfortable bras, so it kind of comes with the territory). As a petite woman with a small band size and large bust size, finding a bra I can say with full certainty that I *swear by* has been difficult. Advertisement First off, you'll want to ensure you're shopping with your correct bra size in mind. I interviewed a professional bra fitter on how to measure your bra size — but that's only half the battle. Some bras pinch your chest at the center, which, truthfully, makes me want to throw the garment out my window. Some of them are just sadly uncomfortable, either with poor wiring or itchy material that irritates sensitive skin. That's why I corralled my fellow Post Wanted product testers to answer the question, 'Which bras do we want to recommend to our readers? Which ones do we reach for in our drawer the most?' It's time to rethink your bra game, y'all, and it starts by shopping the only ones that made the cut below. Victoria's Secret Pros: Offers wireless comfort with support Smooth and invisible underneath clothes Comes in a variety of colors, with adjustable and convertible straps Cons: Sellout risk Limited support for larger busts OK, let me tell you — the Victoria's Secret T-Shirt Lightly Lined Wireless Bra is hands down the most comfortable bra I've ever worn. The biggest game-changer is that it's wireless, but still gives surprisingly great support. Instead of wires, it uses soft silicone strips inside the band that help it stay in place without digging in or rolling up. The fabric is super smooth and lightweight, and the light lining adds just the right amount of shape and modesty without being bulky. It's one of those bras you can wear under anything, and it stays invisible even under tight tees. Another thing that I really love is how customizable and versatile it is. The straps are fully adjustable (a lifesaver if you're on the shorter or taller side), and some versions are even convertible, so you can crisscross them for racerback tops. The fit is very natural, hugging the body without squeezing or creating weird lines, and it just feels like a second skin. When I walked into Victoria's Secret at my local mall, plenty of fitting experts named it their 'go-to for everyday wear,' especially for long shifts or travel days when one needs comfort but doesn't want to sacrifice shape. It gives just enough support and shape to feel put-together, but it's soft and light enough that you don't race to take it off the second you get home. It's like the ideal mix of cozy bralette and functional bra — you get the best of both. Whether you're running errands, lounging or heading to work, this bra totally delivers on comfort without looking or feeling basic. Band size: 32 to 44 | Cup size: A to G | Color options: 24 Best Bra for Small Busts: Pepper Lift Up Bra Pepper Pros: Fit is specifically designed for AA, A and B cups Has an inclusive size range, with band sizes from 30 to 42 Cons: Shipping isn't free unless you spend over $125 Most styles are over $50 Only smaller cup sizes are available Small busts? There's a bra to flatter you. The Pepper Lift Up Bra is an insanely comfortable garment with soft and stretchy fabric. Best of all, it molds to your shape instead of fighting against it. 'While a lot of push-up bras can feel bulky, this one was so comfortable that I forgot I was even wearing it,' Hannah Southwick, Page Six associate commerce editor, shared. 'It offers just the right amount of support and subtle lift. (Plus, it truly lived up to Pepper's promise of no cup gaps.)' The cups have this gradual, subtle padding that lifts without shoving everything up into your chin. There are no wires digging in, no itchy seams, and the band stays in place without squeezing too tight. Southwick loves its secure, light-as-air feeling that's honestly hard to find in bras made for smaller busts. Also, we have to shout out Pepper as a brand, because it gets the memo. Pepper doesn't shrink standard sizes; it starts from scratch to design its bras. Everything is ethically made, and the packaging is eco-friendly. If you've been struggling to find a bra that actually fits, flatters and feels amazing all day long, this one's worth trying. Southwick specifically loves the look of the black lace style, but she's planning to stock up on a few more styles. 'The Signature All You Bra Jessica Biel wore in 'Better Sister' is on my list,' she added. Band size: 30 to 42 | Cup size: AA to B | Color options: 19 Best Bra for Large Busts: Shapermint Truekind Convertible Strapless Bandeau Bra Shapermint Pros: Exceptional stay-put power Boasts an inclusive size range, including options for plus sizes Wireless, but still supportive Cons: Not ideal for high-impact support (like certain athletics) Meet the strapless wonder that finally lets you live loud and proud, without sacrificing comfort. The Truekind bandeau isn't your typical brittle, wire-free flop; it's a supportive dream tailored for fuller breasts. With its breathable, stretchy fabric hugging every curve, this bandeau molds like a second skin —no bulges, no awkward lifting. Just smooth confidence all day. 'I've said it before and I'll say it again: they should invent a strapless bra that's actually wearable,' Angela Tricarico, commerce streaming deals writer, shared. 'I've tried so many strapless bras in my days, both underwire and wireless, but I haven't found one that's as comfortable to wear all day as Shapermint's bandeau-style strapless. Silicone grips keep it up, and it's incredibly supportive even with my larger bra size.' The secret? A stay-put silicone grip and subtle yet sturdy side boning that keep everything exactly where it needs to be. Add in convertible straps (available in clear and flesh tones) and you've got a bra that plays hard to get — with slipping, that is. Band size: 30 to 48 | Cup size: A to H/I | Color options: 7 Best Wireless Bra: EBY Relief Wireless Bra Amazon Pros: Has a hardly there yet supportive feel Incredible quality Available in plus sizes Cons: Price point may be unreachable for some The EBY Relief Wireless Bra stands as the reigning queen of comfort. What I love most about this bra is its material. It's crafted with EBY's proprietary SoftWire and 3D support wings, delivering that coveted underwire lift without the wire — like enjoying the best of both worlds without the sting of poking or prodding. That silky-smooth fabric hugs my body, and I tend to forget I'm even wearing it. In short, it's comfort is next-level. What truly elevates this bralette beyond its competitors, however, is that perfect cocktail of support and invisibility. With its teardrop cups, nylon grip hem, and adjustable straps, it sculpts and smooths without bulging, riding up or sliding down. I find it incredibly supportive and flattering, too. The price point is a bit steep, but you only need one of these bras to unlock the true magic it provides. Size options: XS to XXL | Color options: 4 Best Strapless Bra: Aerie SMOOTHEZ Bandeau Bralette Aerie Pros: Incredibly buttery smooth Layers nicely underneath clothes Great for travel Cons: Tends to stretch over time Only offers light support Limited color options (nude and black) OK, real talk — this Aerie SMOOTHEZ Bandeau Bralette is honestly the only strapless bra I've ever worn that didn't make me want to rip it off halfway through the day. From the moment I put it on, I was like…wait, where has this been my whole life? The fabric of the Aerie SMOOTHEZ Bandeau Bralette is ridiculously soft, like buttery, second-skin soft. It doesn't have any of that annoying wire or stiff padding. Quite simply, I just pull it on and go. No tugging, no readjusting, and somehow it stays in place without squeezing the life out of me. What really sold me is the sticky inner band. It's subtle — I don't feel it at all — but it keeps everything from slipping or shifting, even when I'm walking around all day or layering it under a strapless top. I've tried so many bandeaus that either roll down or dig in, but this one? It just sits there perfectly. And maybe this sounds dramatic, but I kind of can't go back to normal strapless bras now. The comfort level is that good. I even started wearing it around the house as a lounge bra because it's just that easy and breathable. Band size: 32 to 44 | Cup size: A to DD | Color options: 2 Best Lounge Bra: LDMA High-Sculpt Rib Bra LDMA Pros: Moves with you Breathable Great for people 'who hate bras' Cons: Not the best for high-impact activities May run small, so check the style guide Limited size range Let us put you on to the LDMA High-Sculpt Rib Bra. It's honestly the new lounge bra obsession. The second our Page Six commerce reporter Erica Radol put it on, she became…well, obsessed. 'The past few years, I've started to loathe wearing bras, but etiquette dictates that I wear one — at least in professional settings and social events,' Radol shared. 'So, I set out to find a comfortable one that didn't flatten like a sports bra nor cause discomfort like underwires. Lucky me, I happened to find LDMA bras, which give just enough support and hold to my C/D cup bust that I can wear them daily, and not feel like ripping them off the moment I get home.' They look seamless under shirts and are made of a super soft, stretchy material. The ribbed fabric is super soft and stretchy, giving you just the right amount of support without ever feeling tight or uncomfortable. What we love most is how it moves with your body. Whether you're stretching through some light yoga, running quick errands or just lounging on the couch binge-watching, it never feels restrictive or sweaty. The moisture-wicking and anti-odor features seriously make a difference, so you'll stay fresh all day long. Plus, the wide straps and flattering scoop neckline mean we're *totally* fine rocking this bra solo or layering it under a cute top. It just looks that good. Even better, LDMA has plenty of colors to choose from. Size options: XS to XL | Color options: 10 Best Sports Bra: THE GYM PEOPLE Longline Wireless Bra Amazon Pros: Doubles as a workout tank Comfortable and supportive Comes with removable padded cups Cons: Isn't as versatile for different looks as its style skews more athletic If you're on the hunt for a sports bra that combines comfort, style and versatility, look no further than THE GYM PEOPLE Longline Wireless Bra. This bra has garnered attention for its flattering longline silhouette and wire-free design, offering medium support suitable for a range of activities from yoga to light cardio. It's a mainstay in my fitness drawer, complete with a V-neckline and racerback style to provide a modern aesthetic, while the removable padding allows for customizable support and shape. Crafted from a blend of polyamide and spandex, the fabric is both soft and breathable, ensuring comfort during workouts or daily wear. The moisture-wicking properties help keep skin dry, and the wide straps distribute weight evenly, reducing shoulder strain. The longline cut offers additional coverage and smooths out the torso, too, making it a great option to wear on its own or layered under a jacket or open shirt. For less than $25, it's as clear as day why this flattering option is a tried-and-true Amazon best-seller. Size options: XL to XXXL | Color options: 32 How to Shop Bras Online When shopping for any garment online, including bras, your best friend will be a soft measuring tape. While braless, measure your band size by placing the tape where the bra band would sit. The tape should be snug but not tight during this step. From there, round the measurement up. So, if you measure 35, you'll go up to 36. Next, measure your bust size by loosely wrapping the tape around the fullest part of your chest. Like when measuring the band size, you'll want to go up one size. The final step is to figure out your cup size. To do this, take your band measurement size and subtract your bust size. 1=A, 2=B, 3=C, 4=D, 5=DD or E, 6=DDD or F, 7=G and so forth. Once you have your band and cup size, you can officially begin shopping. Pope Leo Receives a Chicago-Style Surprise
is the Associate Editor for Eater's Midwest region, and has been covering Chicago's dining scene for over a decade. Chicago-style pizza makes its way to the Vatican You can take the pope out of Chicago, but you can't take the Chicago out of the pope. Last week, Chicago-born Pope Leo XIV accepted a personal-sized Aurelio's pepperoni pizza from an onlooker in St. Peter's Square. The delivery was coordinated by a group of friends from the Midwest, with Cincinnati resident Madeline Daley bringing the pie to its final destination. She was able to catch the pope's attention as he was passing by in the popemobile with a sign that read, 'We Have Aurelio's Pizza.' Pope Leo XIV had been known to enjoy the suburban pizza chain during his time living in the area, and Aurelio's created a special Poperoni pizza in his honor in July. Earlier this year, the pizzeria closed its last remaining Chicago location in South Loop. 'Hot Ones' host to visit Wrigleyville Hot Ones creator Sean Evans will appear at this year's WingOut on Sunday, August 31. The annual wings festival, which takes place outside Wrigley Field at Gallagher Way from August 30 to 31, will bring together more than 18 wing vendors — including Jake Melnick's Corner Tap, Smoke Daddy, and Woodie's Flat — for a weekend of chicken tastings, live music, and 10th anniversary celebrations. Evanston native Evans hosts the popular YouTube talk show where he interviews celebrities while they take on progressively spicier hot wings. Fans can catch him in WingOut's VIP area. A late-night Uptown bar now serves coffee and pastries during the day Commuters on their way to the recently reopened Lawrence Red Line station can now pop into Uptown Lounge for coffee and pastries during the daytime. The late-night bar has added a new daytime menu featuring brews from Intelligentsia and baked goods. There's Wi-Fi for those who want to work; alcohol is not available until 4 p.m. A venerable sausage company is moving to the suburbs An Italian stalwart adds an Elmwood Park location One of the oldest restaurants in Chicago is expanding to Elmwood Park. Taylor Street institution Pompei will open at 22 Conti Parkway in September. The family-owned Italian restaurant has been around since 1909, once operating multiple locations prior to scaling back to just its flagship. The new spot will take over a space that housed a convenience store, and before that, a Jewel. Guests can expect to find all of Pompei's favorites at the Elmwood Park outpost, including sandwiches, strudels, pastas, and pizzas. Pompei will also be serving food at the Taste of Elmwood Park from August 7 to 10.
