Tina Knowles Shares Daughter Beyoncé's Top Parenting Rule as She Watches the Singer Navigate Motherhood
While speaking with E! News at Billboard's Women in Music Awards in Los Angeles on Saturday, March 29, the Matriarch author, 71, opened up about how the Cowboy Carter singer, 43, balances global stardom with motherhood.
Tina said that the Grammy-winning artist always prioritizes her three children, twins Rumi and Sir, 7, and daughter Blue Ivy, 13, whom she shares with rapper Jay-Z, above everything else.
'They are always her first priority,' she told the outlet, adding, 'no matter what else is going on.'

Tina, who's also the mother of "Cranes in the Sky" singer Solange Knowles, 38, went on to talk with the outlet about the important role of mothers in their kids lives.
'Mothers take on the role of being behind the scenes and doing what they can to support,' she said. 'It's nice to be recognized for that.'
'It never ends, which is the best part," she added. "I'm still a mom. I'm 71 years old, and my kids are grown, but they still call me first and it's the best feeling in the world.'
While Knowles is filled with loads of wisdom, she admitted on the Jennifer Hudson Show that her granddaughter doesn't come to her for advice. The fashion designer spoke about how proud she is of her daughters. She also opened up to host Jennifer Hudson about the ways her granddaughter Blue Ivy takes after her and how her future is bright.
Knowles said that Blue Ivy usually goes to her mother for advice.
"Her and her mother are really tight and so they don't need me to give much advice," Knowles told Hudson, before she added, "They tell me to mind my business."

'In that moment, where I was so scared I was going to lose her, I think that made me realise just how important she was to me, and how much I'd never want to be in that position again,' he said. That feeling might help explain how the couple went from reality show to engaged in less than a year. AD and Ollie announced their engagement in March of 2025 during the Love Is Blind season 8 reunion, news that was soon followed up by a pregnancy announcement. They're now enjoying being engaged while they await the arrival of their baby girl. It might seem fast in the normal world, but in the world of reality television, it's actually pretty standard. 'The show expedited things for sure, because from day one, when you're sharing a room with that person, you're waking up and doing challenges with that person,' Ollie explained. 'In the real world, you don't date in that fashion.'

Halsey Reveals These Two Fan-Favorite ‘Badlands' Tracks Are Getting a Music Video 10 Years Later
Halsey fans, it's time to dust off your blue wigs. The singer is revisiting two fan-favorite Badlands tracks a full decade after their original release, announcing Friday (Aug. 15) that she'll soon be releasing a double feature music video for 'Drive' and 'Gasoline.' In a video teaser for the project posted on Instagram, Halsey appears in their signature light blue hair from the 2015 Badlands era, looking solemn while driving in a pink convertible through familiar, grungey terrain. At one point, the musician appears in a bikini as a pink hue saturates the screen; in another shot, she runs dramatically through an apartment hallway while all the lights flicker. And while Halsey has released four albums since — including 2024's The Great Impersonator — Badlands has always held a special place in her heart.
