Mum of four hit by online hate after lotto win — but she's living her dream
Olivia Love, who is 36, and her husband Kevin, have been enjoying the winnings with a family holiday and a new car but have plans, they say, to spend the rest of the money wisely.
The mum of four is hoping to turn her dream job into a reality, and has quit her position on a supermarket customer service desk which paid £800 a month. Lottery winners Olivia and Kevin. Pic: Alan Peebles
The family was also claiming monthly benefits to subsidise an eye-watering £1,800-a-month childcare bill, as well as the normal cost of living expenses.
Since marrying Kevin last year, she has had her heart set on building a new career in wedding content creation. Now, thanks to her win on May 16th, she and her husband are busy making that dream a reality.
Olivia shared how numerous people have questioned why she decided to quit her job after winning just over £100,000 and have told her the decision is 'not wise'. Lottery winners Olivia and Kevin. Pic: Alan Peebles
'When I won the lottery, I knew it would change my life. But I didn't expect how loud the internet would get, with the win came judgement, assumptions, and a lot of hate. Especially from men who can't stand to see a woman win' said Olivia.
'Just for being proud of my life. For spreading hope and positivity. For being proud of what this win does for my children'.
The 'Set For Life' lotto draw offers a top prize of £10,000 a month for 30 years when the five main numbers and the Life Ball are matched. Lottery winners Olivia and Kevin. Pic: Alan Peebles
Players can also win £10,000 a month for a whole year by matching the five main numbers.
Olivia revealed she did six lucky dips at £1.50 each on the app, with one of them being the lucky combination, to win her the second-tier prize of the cash, for a year.
Olivia says the stress she used to have about a lack of money stopped her enjoying life, even the little things, but now she feels the win has changed her life for the better and she can be more present and enjoy more moments with her family.
But there is also a downside to going public with a lotto win as Olivia has discovered, including begging letters from people looking for her to pay off their debts.
She has since closed her DMs on her social media accounts and is forging ahead with her life plan as a Wedding Content Creator.

Love Island couple Olivia and Alex Bowen welcome their second child
Former Love Island stars Olivia and Alex Bowen have announced the birth of their second child together. The pair finished second on the 2016 series of the ITV reality show and have since starred in TLC's Olivia and Alex: Happily Ever After. On Monday, in a joint Instagram post, the couple shared photos of them with their baby girl Siena and son Abel, who was born in 2022. Olivia Bowen wrote: "I can't even find the words other than to say our beautiful girl Siena is here, and we are all bursting with love. "It wasn't an easy ride but every second worth it a thousand times over (sic). I love my babies." Among the celebrities congratulating them in the comments were former Geordie Shore star Vicky Pattison and Love Island stars Shaughna Phillips and Molly Smith. The birth of the couple's second child comes weeks after ITV2 and ITVX announced it had greenlit a reality TV series about the family and the couple's journey into parenthood. Olivia and Alex: Parenthood will offer "intimate access to the couple's real-life journey as they grow their young family from 3 to 4, whilst dealing with the emotional aftermath of losing one of their twins during early pregnancy", a description from ITV said. Earlier in the year, Olivia Bowen revealed she had been pregnant with twins but lost one due to vanishing twin syndrome (VTS), which is a condition where one twin or multiple embryos in a multiple pregnancy are lost during gestation. The couple married in September 2018 and are one of the rare pairings from Love Island that have remained together.

Friends and fans flooded the comments with messages of congratulations. One person wrote: "She's perfect. What an amazing addition to a beautiful family. Welcome to the world little Siena Grace. Love you so much already." Advertisement A second added: "Huge congratulations!! What a gorgeous family." And a third echoed: "Oh congratulations!!! & what a stunning name." Olivia also shared a peek inside baby Siena's nursery, with a blanket in shot embroidered with her name. The sweet news comes after the pair revealed that they've landed their own ITV reality show, called Olivia and Alex: Parenthood. The series will offer intimate access to the couple's real-life journey as they grow their young family from three to four, whilst dealing with the emotional aftermath of losing one of their twins during early pregnancy. Advertisement Just last month Olivia showed off her blossoming bump at the Rehab hair event, alongside Stacey Solomon and Sam Thompson. Olivia exclusively told The Sun about her pregnancy: "It's different, it's a lot harder because I had a three-year-old to look after at the same time, before all I had to worry about was myself, so it's very different. "It's really rewarding and so lovely to see how excited Abel is to have a baby sister, he always talks about it. "Alex is doing good, he's always wanted a little girl, so he's really happy about that - we're just both really but it's just hard work. "We already have a name for her. I liked Hattie, but Alex did not. We really liked Darcy. But we have picked one - I got Alex a Father's Day present with the name and there's a few reasons why we've picked it." Advertisement Olivia continued: "I was really sick at the start, partly that was down to obviously expecting twins at the start and I think my hormone levels were so high, I was really sick for a while, I was really off my food and could only eat carbs and beige foods or nothing. "Then I had a really nice part, I've only got a month to go. It's just this last bit that's a bit harder again." The media personality also opened up about losing one of her babies at eight weeks. She said: "It was therapy discussing it, some people might say 'how did you speak about it?', but for me I'm a talkative person, I'm an oversharer, it was really like therapy discussing it with people. "The reaction I had was worth it a million times over. Advertisement "So many woman messaged and said 'I didn't know what that was but I've had it and you make me feel less alone'. Anything that gives you that reaction is so worth it. "I do feel emotional sometimes thinking about it, I think we've compartmentalised it well. We have to because we've got a healthy baby that's nearly here, you try and focus on the positives and not what was going to be or what was. "It's still hard and it still comes up in my head and I still think about having to tell her one day. It's a weird situation but we're very lucky to have a baby that's nearly there." Olivia announced in February that she was having another baby, after finding out she was pregnant last Christmas. Sharing the news on Instagram, she said: "A moment, a love - baby no2 - we're waiting for you." Advertisement OLIVIA'S HEARTBREAK In March, Olivia opened up to The Sun's Fabulous magazine about finding out she was expecting twins, but then learning she had sadly lost one of the babies at eight weeks. She revealed how she had miscarried after suffering from vanishing twin syndrome. It occurs in the early stages, when one of the babies stops developing and is absorbed by the mother's body, or the surviving twin. Speaking on Loose Women with husband Alex, the pregnant star broke down in tears as the couple discussed the miscarriage with the panel. She said: 'It was such a shock. There were no symptoms to indicate anything was wrong. We went into the scan excited, thinking everything was going perfectly, but it was blindsiding when we learned that one of the babies had gone.' Advertisement She reflected on the surprising nature of the loss, especially given the absence of any warning signs, and the emotional toll it had taken on her and Alex. Olivia added: 'I was always so positive, and when you try to be 100% positive all the time, when something bad happens, it hits even harder." Despite the pain, Olivia found comfort in knowing that the baby she lost had been reabsorbed into her body by the 14-week mark. 6 Friends and fans flooded the comments with messages of congratulations Credit: oliviadbowen/Instagram 6 A blanket with Siena's name embroidered on Credit: oliviadbowen/Instagram Advertisement
