The Live Aid channel will be airing 10 hours of highlights in a live-streamed event at noon in the UK on Sunday, July 13.
The BBC has also released a documentary series on BBC iPlayer marking the 40th anniversary titled Live Aid at 40: When Rock 'n' Roll Took on the World.
It has behind-the-scenes stories and exclusive interviews include iconic figures such as Bob Geldof, Bono and Sting.

Emma Hindley, BBC Commissioning Editor, said: "The series takes the audience on an irresistible and entertaining ride through the 40 years since the biggest live concert ever was shown on TV.
"Featuring exclusive behind-the-scenes interviews with an array of stars of rock & pop, Live Aid at 40 revels in the music, unravels the politics and explores the legacy of Live Aid."
For the first time since the 1985 concert, the BBC will also air extended highlights from the 16 hours of music.
Live Aid: The Concert will give viewers a chance to relive more than six-and-a-half hours of extended highlights of the London and Philadelphia concerts.

There will also be backstage footage, including interviews with iconic names such as Bono, Brian May, David Bowie, Roger Daltrey, Spandau Ballet and Sting.

Live Aid: The Concert will be on BBC Two in two parts on Saturday, July 12, with part one from 6pm to 9.15pm and part two following from 9.25pm to 1.05am on Sunday.

'I burst out crying,' Jessie recalled of their first meeting. "We met for a secret dinner date with [executive producer] Ben Wadey and the Slaters. When I saw Michelle, I cried – we were all very emotional. It was nostalgic and lovely.' Wallace also insisted her co-star couldn't be recast for the new storyline. It comes after reports of all the celebrities rumoured to be joining BBC Strictly Come Dancing 2025. In an interview with Radio Times, she recalled: 'I said to Ben, 'It has to be Michelle. It won't feel right if Zoe is recast.' I wouldn't be able to give my best performance. The audience would feel completely conned. 'I love Michelle and have always been protective over her, perhaps that's natural having played her mum. I'm a mother myself now, which I wasn't when we worked together before, and I'm very protective over my daughter. 'I've changed and so has Kat. I've grown up a lot, and Kat is more responsible now. She's got three boys and is married. Kat would die for her children, she wasn't allowed to be a parent when she had Zoe but has become a great mum. It's one of the qualities I love most about her.' Actress Michelle returned to play Zoe Slater after being away from the soap for 20 years in June. Around 2.2 million people watched her shock appearance on the BBC One soap, which unusually had not been made available on iPlayer earlier in the day. She will now return for more episodes in August. The character is best remembered for the 2001 cliffhanger in which she screamed at her sister Kat Slater "you ain't my mother!" who fired back with the iconic twist: "Yes I am." Michelle described returning to the show, where she last starred in June 2005, as feeling "like coming home'. Paying tribute to her co-star she said: 'Jessie is one of the best actresses I've ever worked with.'The rapport we have and our friendship off screen as well, it all just feeds into that mother-daughter bond. Jay Blades in court after separate rape charges emerge
West Mercia Police said the 55-year-old is due to appear at Telford Magistrates' Court on August 13 on the rape charges. On Tuesday, Blades, who fronted primetime BBC show The Repair Shop, appeared at Worcester Crown Court via video link for a preliminary hearing in relation to the controlling or coercive behaviour charge. Blades, who wore animal-print spectacles, a grey suit and a blue polka-dot tie, spoke only to confirm his name during a short hearing. The TV star previously denied engaging in controlling or coercive behaviour towards his estranged wife Lisa-Marie Zbozen between January 1 2023 and September 12 last year. He faces trial at a later date. In a statement on Tuesday, police also confirmed separate charges of rape. The force said: 'Jason Blades, 55, of Claverley in Shropshire, has been charged with two counts of rape. 'He is due to appear at Telford Magistrates' Court on 13 August 2025.' Furniture restorer Blades found fame on restoration programme The Repair Shop, which he started presenting in 2017. He also presented the BBC's Money For Nothing until 2020, and appeared on Celebrity Masterchef and Celebrity Bake Off as well as Comic Relief.
