has issued an urgent alert after his official Instagram handle @iamunnimukundan was compromised.
In a note shared via his verified Facebook page, Unni confirmed that the account had been hacked and that any posts, direct messages, or stories currently coming from that handle are not from him.
'Any updates, DMs, stories, or content going out from that account are not from me — they are being posted by the hackers,' he wrote.

The actor, known for his powerful roles in 'Marco' and 'Malikappuram' (Malayalam) and 'Garudan' (Tamil), also urged followers not to interact with the account, click on suspicious links, or share personal data.
'Please do NOT engage, click on any suspicious links, or share personal information… We're working with the relevant teams to resolve the issue,' Unni added.
He signed off with thanks for his fans' support and assured them he would provide updates via verified platforms only.

Unni isn't the only celebrity to face such a breach recently. Just days ago, actress Shruti Haasan revealed that her X (formerly Twitter) account had been hacked as well. Posting a story on Instagram, she warned fans not to interact with the impersonated account until the issue was resolved.

From what I saw, I understood that most of the organisations did their homework to participate in this programme. I am curious to know how much of these suggestions put forward by the stakeholders will be in the policy. Apart from the organisation I am representing (WCC), I am keen to know if the High Court's mention of the policy having a feministic approach will make it to the document, though no remarks about it were heard in the conclave. On a personal note, I felt some people were offended when they heard WCC has also played a crucial role in the conclave becoming a reality, which I don't understand. WCC doesn't want to monopolise anything. This is the time to work together, and not to team up against each other. What are the key concerns you feel should be addressed in the policy? People may publicly say we have equal pay for jobs in Kerala. This could be true, but not in the case of cinema. People have said they cannot force political correctness in creative spaces, which is undemocratic. But structures have started shaking, and it is a good sign that changes are happening at the very place where it should start from. Many pointed out that writers are underpaid in the industry... The condition of writers has been like that for a long time. Writers in Malayalam cinema are paid much less than subtitlers in other industries. Some are of the opinion that screenplays are merely blueprints. However, there are places that work based on these blueprints, and hence, they need to be paid accordingly.

Raanjhanaa AI Ending Controversy: Dhanush has reacted strongly to the AI-altered re-release of his 2013 hit film Raanjhanaa, calling the new ending a distortion of the story and a threat to artistic freedom. In a rare and emotional public note titled 'For the love of cinema", the actor said the decision to use AI went ahead despite his clear objections. 'It Stripped the Film of Its Very Soul" Speaking out across his social media on Sunday, Dhanush criticised the altered version and made it clear he was never on board. 'The re-release of 'Raanjhanaa' with an AI-altered climax has completely disturbed me. This alternate ending has stripped the film of its very soul, and the concerned parties went ahead with it despite my clear objection." He added, 'This is not the film I committed to 12 years ago. The use of AI to alter films or content is a deeply concerning precedent for both art and artists. It threatens the integrity of storytelling and the legacy of cinema. I sincerely hope that stricter regulations are put in place to prevent such practices in the future." What Changed in the Raanjhanaa Ending? In the original Raanjhanaa, Dhanush's character Kundan dies after being shot, with Zoya (Sonam Kapoor) by his side. In the new AI version, Kundan survives and wakes up in hospital as Bindiya (Swara Bhasker) and Murari (Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub) tear up in joy. The AI edit has already caused tension between director Aanand L. Rai and production house Eros. While the studio defended the changes and claimed rights to the content, Rai has publicly said the decision was made without his consent — and warned that it sets a 'dangerous precedent." Eros also accused Rai of using Raanjhanaa IP in his upcoming film Tere Ishk Mein, further fuelling the dispute. About Raanjhanaa and the Upcoming Sequel Directed by Aanand L.
