Harry & Meghan Just Subtly Responded to Reports Their Netflix Deal Was Canceled Amid Claims They're ‘Running Out of Money'
'We're proud to extend our partnership with Netflix and expand our work together to include the As Ever brand,' Meghan said in a statement. 'My husband and I feel inspired by our partners who work closely with us and our Archewell Productions team to create thoughtful content across genres that resonates globally, and celebrates our shared vision.'

Where Diana Would Have Stood in Harry & William's 'Profound' Feud After Reports the Heir 'F-ing Hates' His Brother
The 1 Meghan-Related Ultimatum Charles Gave Harry Before Agreeing to Reconcile-'This Is About Father & Son'Season 2 of Meghan's Netflix series With Love, Meghan, will premiere later this month, with a holiday special, With Love, Meghan: Holiday Celebration, set to premiere in December. As for their involvement with the lifestyle brand As Ever, Netflix 'will continue expanding into new product categories with new items continuing to be released throughout the remainder of the year.' Archewell will also produce two more projects: Meet Me at the Lake, a romance feature adaptation of the bestselling novel of the same name by Carley Fortune, and Masaka Kids, A Rhythm Within, a documentary about children in the Masaka region of Uganda.
The new deal comes after multiple reports that the streamer would axe their deal after it expired and continue with a deal similar to what former President Barack Obama and Michelle Obama had where they were offered a first preview. Meghan Markle and Prince Harry initially signed the $100 million deal with Netflix in 2020. The couple has released five projects through Archewell Productions. With Love, Meghan, which ranked at No. 383 with 5.3 million views, Polo, which was ranked No. 3,436 with 500,000 views, and the 2022 docuseries Harry & Meghan, which remains Netflix's most-watched documentary debut to date
The new deal comes right after celebrity gossiper Rob Shuter reported that the couple had to let go of a number of their staff at their Archewell Foundation. 'This isn't strategy — it's survival,' one source told him. 'They're running out of money, and now they're running out of people.' Another source added. 'They don't have the money to keep the team they built,' the source said. 'They tried to recreate the royal court — but California doesn't do crowns on credit.' But it seems like another good deal has been settled.

Michelle Obama's sage dating advice to her daughters offers a lesson to us all.
The former first lady discussed the modern dating scene on a recent episode of her podcast, and reminded her audience that we are all shaped by our experiences. Michelle Obama has a lot going on in her life, but the former first lady is always foremost a mom, and when her two daughters started to date, she had some meaningful advice to share with them. This topic recently came up on her IMO with Michelle Obama and Craig Robinson podcast, when discussing all of us who are single (at any age!) came up. Obama was chatting about the ever-evolving dating scene, and how difficult it can be to fight the right match. There's a lot of factors that go into meeting someone and dating, and Obama shared that when her daughters Malia and Sasha began dating, she had some important advice to share with them. One piece of advice she gave her daughters, and her podcast audience now, was the importance of open and honest communication when trying to make that connection, and to be open to meeting new people and giving them a chance until they find the right person for them. "I just try to get them to stay open to people," she said on the podcast. "The thing that I did do was date a lot. And so when Barack showed up, I had experiences to compare him against. I knew a lot of (how) I didn't like this. I didn't like that." In a way, dating is like interviewing for a job or finding a new apartment. (Though, of course, meant to be more romantic and personal.) But they are similar in that you don't know what you do or don't want until you are informed by your various experiences, the good and the bad. Everything comes together to bring you to where you are meant to be. " So my whole thing is date. Date a lot, and if you run into a bad date or have a bad experience, move on quickly," she explained. THE FANTASTIC FOUR: FIRST STEPS Concept Art Shows Off Deleted Super-Apes Scene and More of Reed's Stretchy Powers — GeekTyrant
Some new concept art from Marvel artist Wesley Burt just dropped, and it gives us an even clearer look at the wild deleted Fantastic Four: First Steps scene featuring Red Ghost and his Super-Apes. The image shows Pedro Pascal's Reed Richards in the middle of a brawl with three of the Super-Apes. Igor, the shape-shifting baboon, is chomping down on Reed's rubbery face. Peotor, the orangutan with magnetic powers, is clinging to his arm, and Reed is tangled up with Miklho, the most well-known of the bunch. Fans got a quick glimpse of Peotor during the movie, but this concept art makes it painfully obvious how much more we missed out on. Originally, the full scene included John Malkovich as Red Ghost, but it ended up on the cutting room floor. According to director Matt Shakman, the decision to remove the sequence was 'heartbreaking,' but necessary. He explained, 'We had so many characters to introduce this whole world, this whole other universe, and it just became too much backstory.' In the final cut, Red Ghost and the Super-Apes only get a quick name drop as part of the Fantastic Four's past victories. With artwork this cool, fans are definitely hoping that Marvel drops the full deleted scene soon.
