Arne Slot's side have been playing through the current preseason campaign in their 2024/25 Nike kits.

Adidas finally take over from Nike
The Adidas deal did not kick in until August 1 - with the start of Nike's five-year contract delayed back in 2020. Owing to the three-month suspension of football, Nike's deal was put back until after the season finished in July 2020.
🔴
The players have also been pictured wearing Nike training wear and apparel during the Asian tour - while the likes of Florian Wirtz and Jeremie Frimpong have been using temporary numbers.
Things now look a little more settled - with Wirtz being given the legendary Liverpool No7 shirt and featuring prominently in the Adidas announcements.
Adidas paying MORE than £60m reported
The Reds were paid roughly £30m per year - minimum - throughout the lifecycle of their Nike deal. That figure was lifted by a reported 20 percent royalty payment on replica kits - which pushed the overall sums on offer to around £60m.
However, Adidas will be providing the club with significantly MORE money - with the deal set to run for an unprecedented 10-year duration.
According to various reports, the exact terms of the deal will remain confidential.
There are bonuses on offer - depending on team performances and unit shifted - but Liverpool will be earning a LOT more than the £60m per annum from Adidas that has previously been reported.

Halliburton to support NEP's CCS project in UK
Halliburton has secured a contract for the Northern Endurance Partnership (NEP) carbon capture and storage (CCS) system, part of the East Coast Cluster (ECC) in north-east England. Under this contract, the company will deliver completions and downhole monitoring services. The equipment necessary for the CCS project will be primarily manufactured at Halliburton's UK completion manufacturing facility in Arbroath, Scotland. This facility has been instrumental in backing North Sea operations for more than five decades, offering manufacturing capabilities and on-site product development and testing resources. Halliburton Europe, Eurasia and sub-Saharan Africa senior vice-president Jean-Marc Lopez said: 'Halliburton is pleased to develop and deliver innovative well completions and monitoring solutions for this groundbreaking carbon storage project. 'This project allows expansion of our completions activity and showcases Halliburton's leadership in CCS projects. We look forward to the opportunity to deliver our services to support the NEP project.' The NEP infrastructure is engineered to oversee a CO₂ collection network, onshore compression facilities, a 145-km offshore pipeline, and subsea injection and monitoring systems for the Endurance saline aquifer. It is situated roughly 1,000m beneath the sea floor. The system aims to transport and permanently store up to an initial four million tonnes per annum of CO₂. NEP, established in 2020 as the ECC's CO₂ transportation and storage provider, is a joint venture (JV) comprising Equinor, bp and TotalEnergies. The JV will manage the transport and storage of CO₂ emissions from the industrial clusters of Teesside and Humber. Earlier in the year, Halliburton also secured a five-year contract with Repsol Resources UK to improve the full well life cycle at Repsol's platform assets in the UK North Sea. "Halliburton to support NEP's CCS project in UK" was originally created and published by Offshore Technology, a GlobalData owned brand. Sixth Street to acquire 38% stake in Sorgenia in $4.6bn deal
US-based investment company Sixth Street has agreed to acquire a 38% stake in Italian renewable energy company Sorgenia at an enterprise value of more than €4bn ($4.6bn). This investment by Sixth Street is part of a partnership with F2i, an Italian independent infrastructure fund manager. It will enable F2i to consolidate its energy transition assets under Sorgenia. As a result of the transaction, F2i will hold approximately 62% of Sorgenia. Predica, a subsidiary of Crédit Agricole Assurances, retains its minority interests in the F2i-owned companies, EF Solare and Renovalia Tramontana. Concurrently, Asterion Industrial Partners will exit Sorgenia's ownership structure. Asterion, an investment management company, made its initial investment in Sorgenia in 2020 and is now selling its 27.6% stake. The deal is pending customary regulatory approvals. F2i CEO Renato Ravanelli stated: 'With this transaction, F2i successfully reaches an important next step in a long and significant industrial growth journey in the energy sector. The development and consolidation of Sorgenia once again confirms F2i's ability to promote the growth of national and European-scale players in strategic sectors such as energy transition.' Sorgenia's portfolio now incorporates EF Solare, a photovoltaic operator in Italy, and Spanish renewable entities Renovalia and Renovalia Tramontana. Sorgenia currently operates 1.7GW of installed renewable capacity and plans to develop an additional 5GW. It also manages 4.4GW of gas-fired power plants critical for system stability during the energy transition, and provides retail services in electricity, gas, fibre connectivity and green technology to more than one million customers. This investment aligns with Sixth Street's strategy to support growth and development in the renewable sector across Italy and Spain. The consolidation aims to position Sorgenia as a leader in Europe's energy transition market. Sixth Street partner Richard Sberlati stated: 'This agreement establishes Sorgenia as one of the leading energy infrastructure platforms in Europe, and we're pleased to be collaborating with the F2i and Sorgenia teams on this transformational transaction. 'We look forward to contributing our solutions-oriented, patient institutional capital and deep energy infrastructure experience as we work together to facilitate the next phase of growth for the business.' Reading Supporters' Trust 'disappointed' as club appoint gambling partners
Supporters Trust at Reading [STAR] have hit out at the club's decision to appoint an official betting sponsor for the new season. The relationship between gambling and football is something which has proved controversial in recent years, akin to the relationship between tobacco and alcoholic sponsors in other sports such as snooker and rugby. Premier League clubs have voted to withdraw gambling sponsorships on front of shirts as of next season, although there are currently no limitations for sleeve sponsors or advertising hoardings. Last week, Reading confirmed a new partnership with PricedUp, a UK-based online sports betting and gaming brand which will feature on training wear for the 2025/26 and 2026/27 seasons. The club state: "As part of the agreement, PricedUp will collaborate with the club to deliver exclusive offers and rewards designed to engage and benefit Royals supporters, while also working closely with Reading FC to promote and support responsible gambling practices." However, STAR have admitted that they are 'disappointed' with the decision. "We were as disappointed as I'm sure a lot of fans were, to see that we have a new betting sponsor," Chair Sarah Turner commented in her newsletter. " [It is]Not ideal, and I'm sure we'd rather a sponsor from other areas. "I think we have to be pragmatic and think that the club are working on improving things and the costs are huge. We have banged on about wanting to be sustainable - and that means using income from sponsorship. "It is, however, positive that the press release mentions that PricedUp will be working closely with Reading FC to promote and support responsible gambling practices and we look forward to seeing how this develops." Some supporters have also been less than impressed with the decision, although many have gone on to praise the club's pragmatism. Tim Kilpatrick, Head of Commercial at Reading, commented: 'We are naturally pleased to welcome PricedUp as our Official Betting Partner – in what is an important financial agreement for the club. To work with a UK company, who are forging their own story in their industry, aligns with our own growth ambitions and we're looking forward to supporting each other in reaching our goals.'
