John Cena adds new international dates to WWE farewell tour

As John Cena approaches the twilight of his iconic WWE career, fans across the globe are getting more opportunities to see the 17-time World Champion in action. WWE has officially confirmed a series of new international appearances for Cena ahead of the much-anticipated Clash in Paris Premium Live Event (PLE), scheduled for August 31.
The newly added stops include three SmackDown shows across Canada and Europe. Cena is set to appear in Montreal, Quebec on August 8, followed by Dublin, Ireland on August 15, and finally Lyon, France on August 29. All three shows will serve as a build-up to Clash in Paris, where Cena is expected to play a major role, though it remains unconfirmed whether he will compete on the night.

These latest additions bring Cena's total number of confirmed 2025 appearances to 11, with rumors suggesting that up to 24 appearances are planned before his likely retirement in December. WWE is reportedly looking to host Cena's farewell match in Boston, possibly at a Saturday Night's Main Event in TD Garden - his hometown.

Earlier this year, Cena stunned fans at WrestleMania 41 by defeating Cody Rhodes to capture his record-breaking 17th World Championship. He followed that up with a win over longtime rival Randy Orton at Backlash, solidifying his continued dominance despite being in the final phase of his career.
