Chris Martin Gives Dakota Johnson a Sweet Shoutout Amid Breakup Reports
In case you were curious, there's still love between Dakota Johnson and Chris Martin.
Though the pair has allegedly split after eight years together, the Coldplay frontman showed his support for his ex-fianceé's new A24 flick, Materialists, in which she stars alongside Chris Evans and Pedro Pascal.
As he closed a recent concert on his band's Music of the Spheres World Tour in Las Vegas, he took a moment to give Dakota a subtle shoutout. 'Thank you so much, everybody. Be kind to yourself. Be kind to each other. Don't forget to see Materialists. We love you,' he said per a video obtained by DeuxMoi.
While the submitter of the clip claimed that Chris and Dakota are still going strong, the sweet gesture comes amid reports that the couple had split, with a source telling People that it 'felt final this time.'
A separate source told the Daily Mail that the pair tried to make their connection work multiple times, saying, 'Their relationship has been over for a long time, they just haven't been able to figure out to make it official. Dakota held a flame for them to be together because she loved him so much and loved his kids so much.'
The insider gave more insight into the reported split, adding, 'Breakups aren't instant and they continued to breakup and makeup and sometimes things would work when they were away from each other, while they were working because absence makes the heart grow fonder, but then they'd get back together and little things just kept adding up to where they weren't right for each other anymore. Dakota is devastated that she isn't going to be around his kids as much anymore, but wants them to know that she is always there for them.'

We rank the ‘Materialists' press tour's flirtiest moments by how bisexual they are
If there is one thing we have learned about Materialists from the film's press tour, it's that bisexuals are winning. The film, which stars Pedro Pascal, Dakota Johnson, and Chris Evans follows 'a young, ambitious New York City matchmaker (Johnson) finds herself torn between the perfect match (Pascal) and her imperfect ex (Evans),' according to the official synopsis. It may not, at first glance, seem to be queer culture, but you would never guess that from the press tour, which is a vision of the future that bisexuals want. From sneaky clothing swaps, near gay kisses, and that flirty photoshoot, these three have been giving throuple vibes and having the most cheeky fun three incredibly hot actors can have on a press tour. And for their service, we thank them. Here are the viral moments between this flirty trio, ranked by just how hard the bisexuals are winning right now. Editors note: This is all in good fun, no one is outting anyone! Jose Perez/Bauer-Griffin/GC Images Pedro Pascal and Dakota Johnson are seen on the set of "Materialists" You would think meeting Pedro Pascal in any situation would be memorable, but it turns out his meet-cute with Johnson was only cute for him. Pascal interviewed Johnson for a feature in Elle in which he called out his co-star about how they met. It began with Johnson talking about meeting him for the first time at the Met Gala with Sarah Paulson (stars, they're just like us!) and he interjected with a correction 'That was the second time,' he revealed, prompting Jonson to share, 'OK, the first time was on Raya.' - YouTube The trio sat down with Fandango to reveal some BTS secrets and things got very real and very spicy when they were asked what kind of 'random talent [or] skill' they had that they could share with a matchmaker. After plenty of giggles and whispers with both of his cast mates, eventually Pascal dropped the bomb: 'I'm into... I'm into.. I'm into.. I'm a pleaser.' To which Johnson agreed she is, too. LADbible/YouTube In a game of Would You Rather with LADbible, the question of body odor came up prompting Johnson to smell Pedro's armpit. Not only did it smell nice, but she said it smelled oddly familiar. 'That's what my sweater smelled like when you gave it back,' she revealed. To which Evans laughed, then expressed some understandable FOMO. 'You guys swapping clothes? Why wasn't I involved with this?' he asked. LADbible/YouTube During that same game, the question was asked, 'Would you rather have a mouth full of bees or one bee in your butt?' As Evans tried to logic through the question, he leaned toward the bee in the butt since it would only survive for a minute, which led Pascal to quietly answer, 'It depends.' See on Instagram Again during that same game of Would You Rather, the trio debated whether they'd rather be itchy all the time in clothes or naked all the time. While Pascal and Johnson opted for nudity, Evans preferred itchy but clothed. Pascal decried what a shame that would be because of Evan's 'great body.' Evans then offered to let them both scratch it. — (@) At the premiere, Pedro was missing so Evans and Dakota carried around a cardboard photo of his face, at one point each giving it a cheeky kiss. See on Instagram When A24 released the BTS video of the promo photoshoot for the film, the bisexuals immediately took note! The chemistry between the three was fire, the dance moves, the prom photos, the partner swapping. Obsessed. LADbible/YouTube One last entry from LADBible's game of Would You Rather! During the outtakes from the end of the episode, the three are standing together holding hands and Pascal points out that they look like they are in a cult. Johnson agrees, calling it her 'cult of sexy boys.' Pascal agrees and says his husband is #2 and they agree Evans is husband #1. A24/YouTube I mean. Come on. These three know exactly what they are doing here. Not that we're complaining. arrives in theaters on June 13, watch the trailer below. - YouTube

How You Can See the Strawberry Moon, the Lowest Full Moon 19 Years
Originally appeared on E! Online It's a bird, it's a it's a Strawberry Moon! This month's full moon is set to make its annual appearance overnight on June 10 to 11 and, while it always makes for a spectacular sight, this year's Strawberry Moon will be especially wonderous, as it will be the lowest full moon in nearly 20 years. The reason for this year's Strawberry Moon's exceptionally low peak—as seen over the eastern horizon from the Northern Hemisphere—is explained by its proximity to January 2025's Major Lunar Standstill, per Indeed, according to the outlet, that the phenomenon is a result of the ever-evolving inclination of the moon's orbit, which is dragged around every 18.6 years. (The previously most recent Major Lunar Standstill occurred in 2006.) As a result of the rare event, the Strawberry Moon will appear even larger and brighter than usual. While the moon will crest at 3:44 AM EST on June 11, it will be viewable starting in the early evening after sunset on June 10, according to More from E! Online Dakota Johnson Reveals Dating Non-Negotiable After Chris Martin Breakup Ryan Lochte and Estranged Wife Kayla Reid's Debt Revealed Amid Divorce Tony Awards 2025: George Clooney Gives Rare Update on His, Amal's Kids Ella and Alexander While the name "Strawberry Moon" conjures up red and pink hues, the name given to June's annual full moon actually has nothing to do with its color. Instead, the name stems from the fact that this time of year corresponds with the harvesting of strawberries in North America. Other regions have different names for June's full moon, like Honey Moon, Mead Mood and Blooming Moon. Adding even more intrigue to this year's Strawberry Moon is the fact that it'll share close proximity to the bright red star Antares, which is the Heart of the Scorpion in the constellation Scorpius that will also be visible near this month's extra-low full moon. For an optimal viewing experience of the rare full moon, experts suggest finding an unobstructed view of the eastern horizon, ideally on a hilltop outside of a city. Critics hail Celine Song's ‘Materialists' as an ‘exquisitely made' modern love story — not a ‘glossy romantic comedy'
Writer-director Celine Song's sophomore feature, Materialists, may not match the awards buzz of her Oscar-nominated debut, Past Lives, but critics remain impressed with the filmmaker's storytelling prowess. In Materialists, Dakota Johnson plays Lucy, an ambitious New York City matchmaker who finds herself torn between the perfect match — the tall, handsome, and wealthy Harry (Pedro Pascal) — and her imperfect ex, John (Chris Evans). Early reviews for the film have been positive, earning it a "certified fresh" rating with an 86 percent score on Rotten Tomatoes. "Generally favorable" reviews compiled by Metacritic resulted in an overall score of 73 percent. More from GoldDerby Ben Stiller and Robert De Niro reunite, tease 'Meet the Parents 4' 'Heartwarming' yet 'bloated': Film critics are mixed on 'How to Train Your Dragon' live-action remake 'She's got tunnel vision': Wendi McLendon-Covey reveals what she loves most about her character Joyce on 'St. Denis Medical' Billed as a romcom, Materialists defies traditional genre conventions, with critics noting that Song's filmmaking style elevates the film beyond the familiar tropes of romantic comedy. Caryn James (BBC) wrote, "Materialists is exquisitely made, character-driven and talky, with some glittering dialogue. It's the kind of idiosyncratic film a director sometimes gets to do after a great success and Song makes the most of it." James added that the romantic comedy "is hardly a romcom at all, but something far more original and captivating: a piercingly honest exploration of love and money and the inevitable connection between the two." The Hollywood Reporter's David Rooney calls it, "A refreshingly complex look at modern love, self-worth and the challenges of finding a partner in an unaffordable city, which once again treats three points of a romantic triangle with equal integrity and compassion." Variety's Owen Gleiberman wrote, "While it's all too easy to imagine the breezy '90s version of this movie, Materialists is very much not that movie. It's a sharp and serious social romantic drama full of telling observations about the way we live now." William Babbiani of The Wrap warns not to judge the film by its trailer. "It's exceptionally intelligent and biting filmmaking," he writes. "If you go into Materialists expecting a glossy romantic comedy — as the trailer for Materialists strongly implies, cutesy 'Material Girl' cover and all — you may emerge deeply disappointed. If you go in expecting a pointed exploration of the commodification of modern romance, you may be deeply impressed." Not all reviews for Materialists, however, are glowing. Kristen Lopez (The Film Maven) wrote, "Materialists is as shallow as its characters, but so desperately wants to think it isn't. The script is all over the place, and when it finally settles into a groove there still seems to be pieces missing." Justin Chang of The New Yorker wasn't impressed either, noting, "I don't buy it, Jane Austen wouldn't buy it, and deep down I don't think Song buys it. In attempting to merge escapist pleasures with financial realities, Materialists trips up on its own high-mindedness." Materialists opens in theaters on June 13.
